TSNTyndale Study Notes:

25:11 God’s blessing transferred to Isaac; Abraham’s other sons had been sent away. Isaac lived near Beer-lahai-roi—a special place where God had answered prayer (16:14) and where Isaac waited on the Lord (24:62).

UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / order

וַיְבָ֥רֶךְ אֱלֹהִ֖ים אֶת יִצְחָ֣ק בְּנ֑וֹ

and=he/it_blessed ʼₑlhīmv DOM Yiʦḩāq/(Isaac) his/its=son

Use the phrase order in your language that is most natural in this context.

וַיֵּ֣שֶׁב יִצְחָ֔ק עִם

and=he/it_sat_down//remained//lived Yiʦḩāq/(Isaac) with

Consider whether or not it is better in your language to begin a new sentence here. Alternate translation: “who settled near” or “Isaac lived in the region near”

Note 2 topic: translate-names

בְּאֵ֥ר לַחַ֖י רֹאִֽי

בְּאֵר לַחַי רֹאִי

Be consistent here with how you spelled Beer Lahai Roi in Gen 24:62. Alternate translation: “the well called Beer Lahai Roi.”
