12 And_I_sent before_you(pl) DOM the_hornet and_it_drove_out them from_before_of_you(pl) the_two_of the_kings_of the_ʼAmorī not by_sword_of_your and_not by_bow_of_your.
13 And_I_gave to/for_you(pl) a_land which not you_had_laboured for_it and_cities which not you(pl)_had_built and_you(pl)_dwelt (is)_in_them vineyards and_olive_trees which not you(pl)_had_planted you(pl) are_eating.
14 And_now fear DOM YHWH and_serve DOM_him/it in_integrity and_in_faithfulness and_remove DOM the_gods which they_served ancestors_of_your(pl) on_the_other_side_of the_river and_in_Miʦrayim/(Egypt) and_serve DOM YHWH.
15 And_if is_displeasing in_eyes_of_your(pl) to_serve DOM YHWH choose to/for_you(pl) the_day DOM whom will_you_serve whether DOM the_gods which they_served ancestors_of_your(pl) who were_from_the_other_side_of[fn][fn] the_river and_if DOM the_gods_of the_ʼAmorī whom you(pl) are_dwelling in_land_of_their and_I and_household_of_my we_will_serve DOM YHWH.
16 and_it_answered the_people and_he/it_said far_be_it to/for_ourselves from_abandoning DOM YHWH to_serve gods other.
17 If/because YHWH god_of_our he is_the_one_who_brought_up us and_DOM fathers_of_our from_the_land_of Miʦrayim from_a_house_of slaves and_which he_did to_eyes_of_our DOM the_signs (the)_great the_these and_he_kept_us in_all the_way which we_went in_it and_among_all_of the_peoples which we_passed in_midst_of_their.
18 And_ YHWH _he/it_drove_out DOM all_of the_peoples and_DOM the_ʼAmorī who_was_dwelling the_earth/land from_before_of_us also we we_will_serve DOM YHWH if/because he god_of_is_our.
19 and_ Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) _he/it_said to the_people not you(pl)_will_be_able to_serve DOM YHWH if/because is_a_god holy he is_a_god jealous he not he_will_forgive to_transgression_of_your(pl) and_(to)_sins_of_your(pl).
20 If/because you(pl)_will_abandon DOM YHWH and_you(pl)_will_serve gods_of foreignness and_he_will_turn and_he_will_do_harm to/for_you(pl) and_he_will_make_an_end_of you(pl) after that he_has_done_good to_you(pl).
21 And_he/it_said the_people to Yəhōshūˊa no if/because DOM YHWH we_will_serve.
22 And_ Yəhōshūˊa _he/it_said to the_people are_witnesses you(pl) on_yourselves if/because_that you(pl) you(pl)_have_chosen to/for_you(pl) DOM YHWH to_serve him and_they_said witnesses.
23 And_now remove DOM the_gods_of (the)_foreignness which are_in_midst_of_your(pl) and_bend_down DOM heart_of_your(pl) to YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
24 And_they_said the_people to Yəhōshūˊa DOM YHWH god_of_our we_will_serve and_to_voice_of_his we_will_listen.
25 And_ Yəhōshūˊa _he_made a_covenant to_people in_the_day (the)_that and_he/it_assigned to_him/it a_decree and_a_judgement at_Shəkem.
26 And_ Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) _he_wrote DOM the_words/messages the_these in_the_book_of the_law_of god and_he/it_took a_stone large and_he_set_it_up there under the_oak which was_at_the_sanctuary_of YHWH.
