8 Not it_will_depart the_book_of the_law the_this from_your_of_mouth and_you_will_meditate in/on/over_him/it by_day and_night so_that you_may_take_care for_doing according_to_every_of (the)__written in/on/over_him/it if/because then you_will_make_successful DOM ways_of_your and_then you_will_be_successful.
9 Am_not I_commanded_you(ms) be_strong and_be_bold do_not be_terrified and_do_not be_dismayed if/because is_with_you YHWH god_of_your in_every where you_will_go.
10 and_ Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) _he/it_commanded DOM the_officers_of the_people to_say.

14 Wives_of_your(pl) one[s]_of_your(pl)_little and_your(pl)_of_livestock they_will_remain on_the_earth which he_gave to/for_you(pl) Mosheh on_the_other_side_of the_Yardēn and_you(pl) you(pl)_will_pass_over arrayed_for_battle to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before brothers_of_your(pl) all_of the_mighty__of (the)_strength and_you(pl)_will_help them.
15 Until that he_will_give_rest YHWH to_your(pl)_of_brothers like_you(pl) and_they_will_take_possession_of also they DOM the_earth/land which YHWH god_of_your(pl) is_about_to_give to/for_them and_you(pl)_will_return to_the_land_of your_possession_of_of and_you(pl)_will_take_possession_of it which he_gave to/for_you(pl) Mosheh the_servant_of YHWH on_the_other_side_of the_Yardēn/(Jordan) the_rising_of the_sun.
16 And_they_answered DOM Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) to_say all that you_have_commanded_us we_will_do and_to every_of where you_will_send_us we_will_go.
17 According_to_all that we_listened to Mosheh so we_will_listen to_you only may_he_be YHWH god_of_your with_you just_as he_was with Mosheh.
18 Every_of person who he_will_rebel_against DOM mouth_of_your and_not he_will_obey DOM words/messages_of_your to_all/each/any/every that you_will_command_him he_will_be_put_to_death only be_strong and_be_bold.
2 and_ Yəhōshūˊa _he_sent the_son_of Nūn from (the)_Shiţţīm two men secretly spies to_say go see DOM the_earth/land and_DOM Yərīḩō/(Jericho) and_they_went and_they_came the_house_of a_woman a_prostitute and_her_of_name was_Rāḩāⱱ and_they_lay_down (to)_there.
2 And_it_was_told to_the_king_of Yərīḩō to_say here men they_have_come hither the_night from_(the)_sons of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_spy_out DOM the_earth/land.
3 And_ the_king_of _he_sent of_Yərīḩō to Rāḩāⱱ to_say bring_out the_men the_(ones_who)_went to_you who they_came to_your_of_house if/because to_spy_out DOM all_of the_earth/land they_have_come.
4 And_she/it_took the_woman DOM the_two_of the_men and_she_hid_him and_she/it_said right they_came to_me the_men and_not I_knew from_where were_they.
5 And_he/it_was the_gate was_about_to_shut at_darkness and_the_men they_went_out not I_know where did_they_go the_men pursue quickly after_them if/because you(pl)_will_overtake_them.

10 If/because we_have_heard DOM how he_dried_up YHWH DOM the_waters_of the_sea_of reed[s] from_before_of_you(pl) when_you_came_out from_Miʦrayim/(Egypt) and_which you(pl)_did to_the_two_of the_kings_of the_ʼAmorī who were_on_the_other_side_of the_Yardēn to_Şīḩōn and_to_ˊŌg whom you(pl)_totally_destroyed them.
11 And_we_heard heart_of_our and_it_melted and_not it_arose again spirit in_anyone because_of_you(pl) if/because YHWH god_of_your(pl) he is_god in_heavens (from)_above and_on the_earth/land (from)_beneath.
12 And_now swear please to_me by_YHWH if/because I_have_done with_you(pl) loyalty and_you(pl)_will_do also you(pl) with the_household_of my_father_of_of loyalty and_you(pl)_will_give to_me a_sign_of faithfulness.
13 And_you(pl)_will_let_live DOM father_of_my and_DOM mother_of_my and_DOM brothers_of_my and_DOM sisters_of_my[fn] and_DOM all_of who to/for_them and_you(pl)_will_deliver DOM lives_of_our from_death.
14 And_they_said to/for_her/it the_men life_of_our is_for_you(pl) to_die if not you(pl)_will_tell DOM business_of_our this and_it_was when_gives YHWH to/for_us DOM the_earth/land and_we_will_do with_you loyalty and_faithfulness.
15 And_she_let_them_down with_rope through the_window if/because house_of_her was_in_the_wall_of the_city_wall and_in_wall she was_dwelling.
16 And_she/it_said to/for_them to_the_hill_country go lest they_should_meet (in)_you(pl) the_pursuers and_you_will_hide_yourselves (to)_there three_of days until return the_pursuers and_after you(pl)_will_go to_your_of_way.
17 And_they_said to_her/it the_men will_be_free we from_your_of_oath the_this which you_made_us_swear.
18 Here we are_about_to_come on_the_earth DOM the_cord_of the_thread_of the_scarlet the_this you_will_bind in_window which you_let_us_down in_him/it and_DOM father_of_your and_DOM mother_of_your and_DOM brothers_of_your and_DOM all_of the_household_of your_father_of_of you_will_gather to_yourself to_the_house.
19 And_it_was every _who he_will_go_out from_the_doors_of your_house_of_of to_the_outside blood_of_his will_be_of_on_his_own_head and_we will_be_free and_all/each/any/every _who he_will_be with_you in_house blood_of_his will_be_of_on_our_head if a_hand it_will_be in/on/over_him/it.
20 And_if you_will_tell DOM business_of_our this and_we_will_be free from_your_of_oath which you_made_us_swear.
21 And_she/it_said according_to_of_your(pl)_words/messages be_so it and_she_sent_them_off and_they_went and_she_bound DOM the_cord_of the_scarlet in_window.

23 And_they_returned the_two_of the_men and_they_went_down from_the_hill_country and_they_passed_over and_they_came to Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) the_son_of Nūn and_they_recounted to_him/it DOM all_of the_things_which_had_found them.
24 And_they_said to Yəhōshūˊa if/because YHWH he_has_given in_our_of_hand DOM all_of the_earth/land and_also all_of they_have_melted_away the_inhabitants_of the_earth/land from_before_of_us.
3 and_ Yəhōshūˊa _he_rose_early in_morning and_they_set_out from_(the)_Shiţţīm and_they_came to the_Yardēn/(Jordan) he and_all the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_they_stayed there before they_passed_over.
2 And_he/it_was from_the_end_of three_of days and_they_passed the_officers in_the_midst_of the_camp.
3 And_they_commanded DOM the_people to_say just_as_you(pl)_see DOM the_box_of the_covenant_of YHWH god_of_your(pl) and_the_priests the_Lēviyyiy carrying DOM_him/it and_you(pl) you(pl)_will_set_out from_your_of_place and_you(pl)_will_go behind_it.
4 Nevertheless a_distance it_will_be between_you(pl) and_between_it[fn] about_two_thousand cubit[s] by_measurement do_not draw_near to_him/it so_that that you(pl)_may_know DOM the_way which you(pl)_will_go in_it if/because not you(pl)_have_passed in_way from_yesterday three_days_ago.
5 and_ Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) _he/it_said to the_people consecrate_yourselves if/because tomorrow YHWH he_will_do in_your_of_midst wonders.
6 And_ Yəhōshūˊa _he/it_said to the_priests to_say lift_up DOM the_box_of the_covenant and_pass_over to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_people and_they_lifted_up DOM the_box_of the_covenant and_they_went to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_people.
7 and_ YHWH _he/it_said to Yəhōshūˊa the_day the_this I_will_begin to_make_you_great in/on_both_eyes_of all_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) that they_will_know if/because_that just_as I_was with Mosheh I_will_be with_you.
8 And_you(ms) you_will_command DOM the_priests who_carry_of (of)_the_box_of the_covenant to_say just_as_you(pl)_come to the_edge_of the_waters_of the_Yardēn/(Jordan) in_Yardēn you(pl)_will_stand_still.
9 and_ Yəhōshūˊa _he/it_said to the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) draw_near hither and_hear DOM the_words/messages_of YHWH god_of_your(pl).
10 And_ Yəhōshūˊa _he/it_said by_this you(pl)_will_know if/because_that god living is_in_your_of_midst and_completely_(dispossess) he_will_dispossess from_before_of_you(pl) DOM the_Kənaˊₐnī and_DOM the_Ḩittiy[s] and_DOM the_Ḩiūī and_DOM the_Pərizzī[s] and_DOM the_Girgāshiy and_the_ʼAmorī[s] and_the_Yəⱱūşī/(Jebusite)[s].
11 Here the_box_of the_covenant the_master_of all_of the_earth/land is_about_to_pass_on before_you(pl) in_Yardēn.
12 And_now take to/for_you(pl) two_plus_of ten man from_the_tribes_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) a_man one a_man one to_tribe.
13 And_it_was just_as_rest the_soles_of the_feet_of the_priests who_carry_of (of)_the_box_of YHWH the_master_of all_of the_earth/land in_the_waters_of the_Yardēn the_waters_of the_Yardēn they_will_be_cut_off the_waters which_are_coming_down from_to_above and_they_will_stand a_heap one.
14 And_he/it_was when_set_out the_people from_their_of_tents to_pass_over DOM the_Yardēn/(Jordan) and_the_priests who_carry_of (of)_the_box the_covenant to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_people.
15 And_just_as_came those_who_carry_of (of)_the_box to the_Yardēn and_the_feet_of the_priests who_carry_of (of)_the_box they_were_dipped in_the_edge_of the_waters and_the_Yardēn it_is_full over all_of banks_of_its all_of the_days_of harvest.
16 And_they_stood the_waters which_came_down from_to_above they_rose a_heap one far_away very from_ʼĀdām[fn] the_city which is_from_the_side_of Tsₑrətān/(Zarethan) and_those_which_went_down to the_sea_of the_ˊArāⱱāh the_Sea_of (the)_Salt they_were_complete they_were_cut_off and_the_people they_passed_over before Yərīḩō/(Jericho).
17 And_they_stood the_priests who_carry_of (of)_the_box the_covenant_of YHWH on_ground in_the_middle of_the_Yardēn firmly and_all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) were_passing_over on_ground until that they_had_finished all_of the_nation to_pass_over DOM the_Yardēn.
4 And_he/it_was just_as they_had_finished all_of the_nation to_pass_over DOM the_Yardēn/(Jordan) and_ YHWH _he/it_said to Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) to_say.
2 Take to/for_you(pl) from the_people two_plus ten men a_man one a_man one from_a_tribe.
3 And_command them to_say take_up to/for_you(pl) from_here from_the_middle_of the_Yardēn from_the_standing-place_of the_feet_of the_priests to_make_firm two_plus ten stones and_you(pl)_will_take_over them with_you(pl) and_you(pl)_will_set_down them at_place which you(pl)_will_stay in_him/it the_night.
4 and_he/it_called Yəhōshūˊa to two_plus the_ten man whom he_had_appointed from_(the)_sons of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) a_man one a_man one from_a_tribe.
5 And_he/it_said to/for_them Yəhōshūˊa pass_over to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_box_of YHWH god_of_your(pl) into the_middle_of the_Yardēn and_take_up to/for_you(pl) each a_stone one on shoulder_of_his to_the_number_of the_tribes_of the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
6 So_that it_may_be this a_sign in_your_of_midst if/because they_will_ask children_of_your(pl) tomorrow to_say what are_the_stones the_these to_you(pl).
7 And_you(pl)_will_say to/for_them (cmp) they_were_cut_off the_waters_of the_Yardēn/(Jordan) from_face/in_front_of the_box_of the_covenant_of YHWH when_it_passed_on in_Yardēn they_were_cut_off the_waters_of the_Yardēn and_they_will_be the_stones the_these (into)_a_memorial for_the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) until perpetuity.
8 And_they_made thus the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel)[fn] just_as Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) he_had_commanded and_they_took_up two_plus_of ten stones from_the_middle_of the_Yardēn just_as he_had_said YHWH to Yəhōshūˊa to_the_number_of the_tribes_of the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_they_took_them_over with_them to the_lodging_place and_they_set_them_down there.
9 And_two_plus ten stones Yəhōshūˊa he_set_up in_the_middle of_the_Yardēn in_the_place_of the_standing-place_of the_feet_of the_priests (of)_the_box_of who_carry_of the_covenant and_they_were there until the_day (the)_this.
10 And_the_priests who_carry_of (of)_the_box were_standing in_the_middle of_the_Yardēn until was_finished every_of (the)_thing which he_had_commanded YHWH DOM Yəhōshūˊa to_speak to the_people according_to_all that he_had_commanded Mosheh DOM Yəhōshūˊa and_they_hurried the_people and_they_passed_over.
11 And_he/it_was just_as it_had_finished all_of the_people to_pass_over and_ the_box_of _he/it_passed_through of_YHWH and_the_priests to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_people.
12 And_ the_descendants_of _they_passed_over of_Rəʼūⱱēn and_the_sons of_Gād and_the_half_of the_tribe_of (the)_Mənashsheh arrayed_for_battle to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) just_as he_had_spoken to_them Mosheh.
13 About_forty thousand (the)_man_equipped_of (the)_war they_passed_over to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before YHWH for_battle to the_plains_of Yərīḩō/(Jericho).
14 in_the_day (the)_that YHWH he_made_great DOM Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) in/on_both_eyes_of all_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_they_saw DOM_him/it just_as they_had_feared DOM Mosheh all_of the_days_of his/its_life.
15 and_ YHWH _he/it_said to Yəhōshūˊa to_say.
16 Command DOM the_priests who_carry_of (of)_the_box_of the_transcript and_let_them_come_up from the_Yardēn/(Jordan).
17 And_ Yəhōshūˊa _he/it_commanded DOM the_priests to_say come_up from the_Yardēn.
18 And_he/it_was just_as_came_up[fn] the_priests who_carry_of (of)_the_box_of the_covenant_of YHWH from_the_middle_of the_Yardēn the_soles_of they_were_drawn_out of_the_feet_of of_the_priests to the_dry_ground and_ the_waters_of _they_returned of_the_Yardēn to_their_of_place and_they_went as_yesterday three_days_ago over all_of banks_of_its.
19 And_the_people they_went_up from the_Yardēn on_ten of_month (the)_first and_they_encamped at_Gilgāl on_the_edge_of the_east_of Yərīḩō.
20 And_DOM two_plus ten the_stones the_these which they_had_taken from the_Yardēn Yəhōshūˊa he_set_up at_Gilgāl.
21 And_he/it_said to the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_say that they_will_ask children_of_your(pl) tomorrow DOM fathers_of_their to_say what are_the_stones the_these.
22 And_you(pl)_will_make_known_to DOM children_of_your(pl) to_say on_ground Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) it_passed_over DOM the_Yardēn (the)_this.
23 That he_dried_up YHWH god_of_your(pl) DOM the_waters_of the_Yardēn/(Jordan) from_before_of_you(pl) until you_had_passed_over just_as he_did YHWH god_of_your(pl) to_the_sea_of reed[s] which he_dried_up from_before_of_us until we_had_passed_over.
24 So_as to_know all_of the_peoples_of the_earth/land DOM the_hand_of YHWH if/because_that is_mighty it so_that you(pl)_may_fear DOM YHWH god_of_your(pl) all_of the_days.
5 and_he/it_was just_as_heard all_of the_kings_of the_ʼAmorī who were_on_the_other_side_of the_Yardēn westward and_all the_kings_of the_Kənaˊₐnī/(Canaanite)[s] who were_at the_sea DOM how he_had_dried_up YHWH DOM the_waters_of the_Yardēn from_face/in_front_of the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) until they_had_passed_over[fn] heart_of_their and_it_melted and_not it_was in_them still spirit from_face/in_front_of the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
2 at_time (the)_that YHWH he_said to Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) make to/for_yourself(m) knives_of flint(s) and_return circumcise DOM the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) a_second_.
3 And_he/it_made to_him/it Yəhōshūˊa knives_of flint(s) and_he_circumcised DOM the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to the_hill_of (the)_foreskins.
4 And_this is_the_reason why he_circumcised Yəhōshūˊa all_of the_people which_had_come_out from_Miʦrayim/(Egypt) the_males all_of the_men_of (the)_war they_had_died in_wilderness on_way when_they_went_out from_Miʦrayim.
5 If/because circumcised all_of they_had_been the_people which_came_out and_all the_people (the)_born in_wilderness on_way when_they_went_out from_Miʦrayim not people_had_circumcised.

7 And_DOM children_of_their he_raised_up in_place_of_them DOM_them Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) he_circumcised if/because uncircumcised they_were if/because not people_had_circumcised them on_way.
8 And_he/it_was just_as they_had_finished all_of the_nation to_be_circumcised and_they_lived in_their_place in_camp until they_lived.
9 and_ YHWH _he/it_said to Yəhōshūˊa the_day I_have_rolled_away DOM the_reproach_of Miʦrayim/(Egypt) from_on_you(pl) and_he/it_called the_name_of the_place (the)_that Gilgāl until the_day (the)_this.
10 And_ the_people_of _they_encamped of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) at_Gilgāl and_they_made DOM the_passover on_the_four- teen day of_month in_evening on_the_plains_of Yərīḩō/(Jericho).
11 And_they_ate some_of_the_produce_of the_earth/land from_the_next_day_of the_passover unleavened_bread(s) and_roasted_grain on_the_substance_of the_day (the)_this.
12 And_he/it_rested the_manna from_the_next_day when_they_ate some_of_the_produce_of the_earth/land and_not it_belonged again to_the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) manna and_they_ate some_of_the_produce_of the_land_of Kənaˊan/(Canaan) in_year (the)_that.
13 and_he/it_was when_was Yəhōshūˊa at_Yərīḩō and_he_lifted_up eyes_of_his and_he/it_saw and_see/lo/see a_man was_standing to_before_him and_his_of_sword was_drawn in_his/its_hand and_ Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) _he/it_went to_him/it and_he/it_said to_him/it for_us are_you or for_our_of_foes.
14 And_he/it_said no if/because I am_the_commander_of the_army_of YHWH now I_have_come and_ Yəhōshūˊa _he_fell to his/its_faces/face towards_land and_he_bowed_down and_he/it_said to_him/it what my_master saying (to) servant_of_his.
15 And_ the_commander_of _he/it_said of_the_army_of of_YHWH to Yəhōshūˊa take_off sandal_of_your from_under foot_of_your if/because the_place which you are_standing on/upon/above_him/it is_a_holy_place it and_ Yəhōshūˊa _he/it_made thus.

16 And_he/it_was at_time (the)_seventh they_gave_a_blast the_priests on_trumpets and_ Yəhōshūˊa _he/it_said to the_people shout if/because YHWH he_has_given to/for_you(pl) DOM the_city.
17 And_it_will_be the_city a_devoted_thing it and_all that is_in_it to/for_YHWH only Rāḩāⱱ the_prostitute she_will_live she and_all _who is_with_her in_house if/because she_hid DOM the_messengers whom we_sent.

20 And_it_shouted the_people and_they_gave_a_blast on_trumpets and_he/it_was just_as_heard the_people DOM the_sound_of the_trumpet and_they_shouted the_people a_shout loud and_it_fell the_city_wall in_its_place and_he/it_ascended the_people to_the_city everyone before_himself and_they_captured DOM the_city.
21 And_they_totally_destroyed DOM all_of that was_in_city from_man and_unto woman from_young_man and_unto old_man and_unto ox[en] and_sheep and_donkey[s] to_the_mouth_of the_sword.

17 And_ the_people_of _they_set_out of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_they_came to cities_of_their in_the_day the_third and_their_of_cities were_Giⱱˊōn and_(the)_Kəfīrāh and_Bəʼērōt and yəˊārīm/(jearim).
18 And_not they_attacked_them the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) if/because they_had_sworn_an_oath to/for_them the_leaders_of the_congregation by_YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_ all_of _they_grumbled the_congregation on the_leaders.

5 And_they_gathered and_they_went_up the_five_of the_kings_of the_ʼAmorī the_king_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) the_king_of Ḩeⱱrōn the_king_of Yarmūt the_king_of Lākīsh the_king_of ˊEglōn they and_all armies_of_their and_they_encamped on Giⱱˊōn and_they_waged_war on_it.
6 And_ the_men_of _they_sent of_Giⱱˊōn to Yəhōshūˊa to the_camp to_(the)_Gilgāl to_say do_not let_drop hands_of_your from_your(pl)_of_servants come_up to_us quickly and_save to/for_ourselves and_help_us if/because they_have_gathered_together against_us all_of the_kings_of the_ʼAmorī who_dwell_of (of)_the_hill_country.
7 And_he/it_ascended Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) from (the)_Gilgāl he and_all the_people_of (the)_war with_him/it and_all/each/any/every the_mighty__of (the)_strength.
8 and_ YHWH _he/it_said to Yəhōshūˊa do_not be_afraid from_them if/because in_your_of_hand I_have_given_them not anyone he_will_make_a_stand from_them in_your(pl)_of_face.
9 And_he_came to_them Yəhōshūˊa suddenly all_of the_night he_had_gone_up from (the)_Gilgāl.
10 And_he_confused_them YHWH to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_he_defeated_them a_defeat great at_Giⱱˊōn and_he_pursued_them the_direction_of the_ascent_of Bēyt Ḩōrōn and_he_defeated_them to ˊAzēqāh and_unto Maqqēdāh.
11 And_he/it_was when_they_fled from_face/in_front_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) they were_at_the_descent_of Bēyt Ḩōrōn and_YHWH he_threw on_them stones large from the_heavens to ˊAzēqāh and_they_died were_many those_who they_died by_the_stones_of the_hail more_than_those_whom they_killed the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) with_sword.
12 then Yəhōshūˊa he_spoke to/for_YHWH in/on_day YHWH delivered_up DOM the_ʼAmorī to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_he/it_said to_the_eyes_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) Oh_sun at_Giⱱˊōn be_still and_Oh_moon in_the_valley_of ʼAyyālōn.

19 And_you(pl) do_not delay pursue after enemies_of_your(pl) and_you(pl)_will_attack_in_the_rear them do_not permit_them to_go into cities_of_their if/because he_has_given_them YHWH god_of_your(pl) in_your_of_hand.
20 And_he/it_was just_as_finished Yəhōshūˊa and_the_sons of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_defeat_them a_defeat great very until they_were_finished and_the_survivors they_survived from_them and_they_came into the_cities_of (the)_fortification.
21 And_ all_of _they_returned the_people to the_camp to Yəhōshūˊa Maqqēdāh in_peace not he_sharpened to_the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_anyone DOM tongue_of_his.

23 And_they_made thus and_they_brought_out to_him/it DOM the_five_of the_kings the_these from the_cave DOM the_king_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) DOM the_king_of Ḩeⱱrōn DOM the_king_of Yarmūt/(Jarmuth) DOM the_king_of Lākīsh DOM the_king_of ˊEglōn.
24 And_he/it_was just_as_they_brought_out DOM the_kings the_these to Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) and_ Yəhōshūˊa _he/it_called (to) every_of (the)_man_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_he/it_said to the_commanders_of the_men_of (the)_war who_they_had_gone with_him/it draw_near put DOM feet_of_your(pl) on the_necks_of the_kings the_these and_they_drew_near and_they_put DOM feet_of_their on necks_of_their.
25 And_he/it_said to_them Yəhōshūˊa do_not be_afraid and_do_not be_dismayed be_strong and_be_bold if/because thus YHWH he_will_do to/from_all/each/any/every enemies_of_your(pl) whom you(pl) are_fighting them.

29 And_ Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) _he/it_passed_through and_all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) with_him/it from_Maqqēdāh Liⱱnāh and_he_engaged_in_battle with Liⱱnāh.
30 And_ YHWH _he/it_gave also it in_the_hand_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel)[fn] and_DOM king_of_its and_he_struck_it_down to_the_mouth_of the_sword and_DOM every_of the_living_creatures who was_in_it not he_left in_it a_survivor and_he/it_made to_its_of_king just_as he_had_done to_the_king_of Yərīḩō.

35 And_they_captured_it in_the_day (the)_that and_they_struck_it_down to_the_mouth_of the_sword and_DOM every_of the_living_creatures who was_in_it in_the_day (the)_that he_totally_destroyed according_to_all that he_had_done to_Lākīsh.

12 And_DOM all_of the_cities_of the_kings the_these and_DOM all_of kings_of_their Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) he_captured and_he_struck_them_down to_the_mouth_of the_sword he_totally_destroyed them just_as he_had_commanded Mosheh the_servant_of YHWH.
13 Only all_of the_cities which_were_standing on mounds_of_their not it_burnt_them Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) except DOM Ḩāʦōr it_alone Yəhōshūˊa he_burnt.

22 Not ˊAnāqī it_was_left in_land of_the_people_of of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) only in_ˊAzzāh in_Gat and_in_ʼAshdōd they_remained.
