2 And_they_gathered_together all_together to_wage_war with Yəhōshūˊa and_with Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) mouth one.
3 and_the_inhabitants_of Giⱱˊōn they_heard DOM that_which he_had_done Yəhōshūˊa to_Yərīḩō/(Jericho) and_to_ˊAy.

6 And_they_went to Yəhōshūˊa to the_camp (the)_Gilgāl and_they_said to_him/it and_near/to the_man_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) from_a_land distant we_have_come and_now make to/for_us a_covenant.
7 And_he_said[fn] the_man_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to the_Ḩiūī perhaps in_midst_of_my you are_dwelling and_how will_I_make[fn] to/for_yourself(m) a_covenant.
8 And_they_said to Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) your_servants we and_he/it_said to_them Yəhōshūˊa who are_you(pl) and_from_where do_you(pl)_come.
9 And_they_said to_him/it from_a_land distant very your_servants they_have_come to_the_name_of YHWH god_of_your if/because we_have_heard of_him_of_the_report and_DOM all_of that he_did in_Miʦrayim/(Egypt).
10 And_DOM all_of that he_did to_the_two_of the_kings_of the_ʼAmorī who were_on_the_other_side_of the_Yardēn/(Jordan) to_Şīḩōn the_king_of Ḩeshbōn and_to_ˊŌg the_king_of (the)_Bāshān who was_in_ˊAshtārōt.
11 And_they_said to_us our_of_elders and_all the_inhabitants_of our_land_of_our to_say take in_hand_of_your(pl) provision[s] for_journey and_go to_meet_them and_you(pl)_will_say to_them servants_of_are_your(pl) we and_now make to/for_us a_covenant.
12 This bread_of_is_our hot we_took_as_our_provisions DOM_him/it from_homes_of_our in/on_day we_came_out to_go to_you and_now HERE it_has_dried_up and_it_was crumbs.
13 And_these are_the_skin-bottles_of (the)_wine which we_filled new and_BEHOLD/LO/SEE they_have_split and_these garments_of_our and_sandals_of_our they_have_worn_out from_the_greatness_of the_journey very.
14 And_they_took the_men some_of_their_sustenance and_DOM the_mouth_of YHWH not they_asked.
15 And_he/it_made to/for_them Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) peace and_he_made to/for_them a_covenant to_let_them_live and_they_swore_an_oath to/for_them the_leaders_of the_congregation.
16 And_he/it_was from_the_end_of three_of days after that they_had_made to/for_them a_covenant and_they_heard if/because_that were_near they to_him/it and_in_midst_of_his they were_dwelling.
17 And_ the_people_of _they_set_out of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_they_came to cities_of_their in_the_day the_third and_cities_of_their were_Giⱱˊōn and_(the)_Kəfīrāh and_Bəʼērōt and_Qiryat- yəˊārīm/(jearim).
18 And_not they_attacked_them the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) if/because they_had_sworn_an_oath to/for_them the_leaders_of the_congregation by_YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_ all_of _they_grumbled the_congregation on the_leaders.
19 And_ all_of _they_said the_leaders to all_of the_congregation we we_have_sworn_an_oath to/for_them by_YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_now not we_are_able to_touch (in)_them.
20 This we_will_do to/for_them and_we_will_let_live them and_not it_will_be towards_us severe_anger on the_oath which we_swore to/for_them.
21 And_they_said to_them the_leaders let_them_live and_they_were cutters_of wood(s) and_drawers_of water to/from_all/each/any/every the_congregation just_as they_had_spoken to/for_them the_leaders.
22 And_he/it_called to/for_them Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) and_he/it_spoke to_them to_say to/for_what did_you(pl)_deceive us to_say are_distant we from_you(pl) very and_you(pl) in_midst_of_our are_dwelling.
23 And_now are_cursed you(pl) and_not he_will_be_cut_off from_you(pl) a_slave and_cutters_of wood(s) and_drawers_of water for_the_house_of my_god_of_my.
24 And_they_answered DOM Yəhōshūˊa and_they_said if/because fully_(tell) it_was_told to_servants_of_your DOM how he_had_commanded YHWH god_of_your DOM Mosheh servant_of_his to_give to/for_you(pl) DOM all_of the_earth/land and_to_destroy DOM all_of the_inhabitants_of the_earth/land from_before_of_you(pl) and_we_were_afraid very for_lives_of_our because_of_you(pl) and_we_did DOM the_thing (the)_this.
25 And_now HERE_we are_in_hand_of_your according_the_good and_according_the_right in_eyes_of_your for_doing to/for_us do.
26 And_he/it_made to/for_them thus and_he_delivered them from_the_hand_of the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_not they_killed_them.
27 And_he_made_them Yəhōshūˊa in_the_day (the)_that cutters_of wood(s) and_drawers_of water for_congregation and_for_the_altar_of YHWH until the_day the_this to the_place which he_will_choose.
