OET (OET-RV) “Listen to what Yahweh says,” Elisha responded, “Yahweh says that at this time tomorrow, a drum of flour will be sold for a shekel, and two drums of barley will be sold for for a shekel at the city gate.”

The implied “you” in the verb Hear is plural here because Elisha is addressing everyone who is present. This included elders of Samaria, the king, and some officers he brought with him, as the next verse indicates. So use the plural form in your translation if your language marks that distinction.

See how you translated the similar expression in [1:7](../01/07.md). Alternate translation: [a message from Yahweh]

If it would be clearer in your language, you could translate this so that there is not a quotation within a quotation. Alternate translation: [Yahweh says that at this time tomorrow, a seah of flour will be at a shekel and two seahs of barley will be at a shekel in the gate of Samaria]

סְאָֽה־סֹ֣לֶת
seah fine_flour
A seah was a dry measure equivalent to 7.7 liters or about six quarts. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could express this in terms of modern measurements, either in the text or in a footnote.

See how you translated the similar expression in [6:25](../06/25.md). Alternate translation: [will sell for a silver shekel … will sell for a silver shekel]

OET (OET-RV) “Listen to what Yahweh says,” Elisha responded, “Yahweh says that at this time tomorrow, a drum of flour will be sold for a shekel, and two drums of barley will be sold for for a shekel at the city gate.”
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
