ULTAnd the Lord caused the camp of Aram to hear a sound of a chariot, a sound of a horse, a sound of a great army. And they said, each man to his brother, “Look—the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites and the kings of the Egyptians to come against us.”

USTWhat had happened was that Yahweh had caused the army of Aram to hear something that sounded like a large army marching with chariots and horses. So the soldiers said to each other, “Listen! The king of Israel has hired the kings of Egypt and the Hittites and their armies, and they have come to attack us!”
