24 And after five days , Ananias the chief _ priest came _ down with some elders , and Tertullos a _ certain an _ attorney , who reported to _ the governor against the Paulos .
2 And of _ him having _ been_ called , the Tertullos began to _ be_ accusing him saying :
Of _ great peace obtaining through you , and of _ the _ reforms becoming to _ the this _ nation through the your provision , 3 both everything and everywhere , most _ excellent Faʸlix we _ are_ welcoming it , with all thanksgiving .
4 But in _ order_ that I _ may_ not _ be_ hindering more for you , the in _ your gentleness I _ am_ imploring you to _ hear from _ us briefly .
5 For/Because having _ found the this man a _ pestilence , and stirring insurrections to _ all the Youdaiōns which in the inhabited _ world , and a _ ring_ leader of _ the of _ the Nazōraios sect , 6 who even attempted to _ profane the temple , also whom we _ apprehended .
7 8 from whom you _ will_ be_ able yourself , having _ examined him concerning all these , to _ know of _ which we are _ accusing against _ him .
9 And the Youdaiōns also piled _ on , alleging these to _ be_ having thus .
10 And the Paulos answered , the governor having _ nodded to _ him to _ be_ speaking , this for many years you being judge to _ the _ nation Knowing , I _ am_ cheerfully _ defending the concerning myself .
11 Of _ you being _ able to _ know that there _ are not more to _ me twelve days , from which I _ went_ up going _ to_ prostrate in Hierousalaʸm/(Yə rūshālayim) .
12 And they _ found me neither in the temple discussing with anyone or making a _ opposition of _ a _ crowd , neither in the synagogues , nor in the city , 13 nor are _ they_ being_ able to _ stand_ by to _ you , concerning which now they _ are_ accusing against _ me .
14 But I _ am_ confessing this to _ you that according _ to the way which they _ are_ calling a _ sect , thus I _ am_ serving unto _ the ancestral god , believing in _ all the throughout the law and in _ the having _ been_ written in the prophets , 15 having a _ hope in the god , which also these themselves are _ waiting_ for , a _ resurrection to _ be_ going going _ to_ be , of _ the _ righteous both and of _ the _ unrighteous .
16 In this also I _ myself _ am_ exercising , a _ inoffensive _ conscience to _ be_ having toward the god and the people through everything .
17 And through more years I _ arrived going _ to_ make alms to the nation of _ me and offerings , 18 at which they _ found me in the temple having _ been_ purified , neither with a _ crowd , nor with commotion .
19 But some Youdaiōns from the Asia , who it _ was_ fitting to _ be_ being_ present before you and to _ be_ accusing , if anything might _ be_ having against me .
20 Or let _ these themselves _ say , what they _ found wrong , having _ stood of _ me before the council , 21 than concerning this one voice , which I _ cried_ out among them having _ stood :
that I am _ being_ judged by you _ all today concerning the _ resurrection of _ the _ dead .
22 But the Faʸlix he _ put_ off them , having _ known more _ exactly the concerning the way , having _ said :
Whenever Lusias the commander may _ come_ down , I _ will_ be_ investigating the concerning you _ all , 23 having _ directed to _ the centurion him to _ be_ being_ kept , and to _ be_ having relaxation , and to _ be_ forbidding no _ one of _ his own people of _ him to _ be_ attending to _ him .
24 But after some days , the Faʸlix having _ arrived with Drousilla , his own wife being a _ Youdaios , he _ sent_ for the Paulos , and heard from _ him concerning the faith in chosen _ one/messiah .
25 But him discussing concerning righteousness , and self-control , and the judgment which coming , the Faʸlix having _ become frightened , answered :
the _ Present _ time being be _ going , and having _ taken time , I _ will_ be_ summoning you .
26 Together also hoping that money will _ be_ being_ given to _ him by the Paulos , therefore also more _ frequently sending _ for him , he _ was_ conversing with _ him .
27 But two _ years having _ been_ fulfilled , the Faʸlix received successor Porkios Faʸstos , and wanting to _ grant a _ favour to _ the Youdaiōns , the Faʸlix left the Paulos having _ been_ bound .
