5 But a _ certain man by _ the _ name Ananias , with Sapfeiraʸ the wife of _ him , sold a _ property 2 and embezzled from the value , the wife also having _ become_ aware , and having _ brought a _ certain portion , he _ laid it before the feet of _ the ambassadors .
3 But the Petros said :
Ananias , because/for _ Why _ reason the Satan/(Sāţān) filled the heart of _ you , for _ you to _ lie to _ the the holy spirit , and to _ embezzle from the value of _ the property ?
4 Not remaining unsold it _ was_ remaining to _ you , and having _ been_ sold it _ was_ being in the your authority ?
Why that you _ purposed in the heart of _ you the this matter ?
You _ lied not to _ people , but to _ the _ god .
5 And the Ananias hearing the these messages , having _ fallen he _ stopped_ breathing .
And great fear became on all the hearing .
6 And having _ risen_ up , the younger men covered him , and having _ brought_ out him , they _ buried him .
7 And it _ became a _ period about three hours , and the wife of _ him , not having _ known the having _ become , came _ in .
8 And Petros answered to her :
Tell to _ me if for _ so_ much the property and ?
you _ all_ gave_ back she said :
Yes , for _ so_ much .
9 But the Petros said to her :
Why is _ it that it _ was_ agreed_ together by _ you_ all to _ test the spirit of _ the _ master ?
Behold , the feet of _ the having _ buried the husband of _ you are at the door , and they _ will_ be_ bringing_ you _ out .
10 And immediately she _ fell before the feet of _ him , and stopped _ breathing .
And having _ come_ in , the young _ men found her dead , and having _ brought_ out her , they _ buried her with the husband of _ her .
11 And great reverence became on all the assembly , and on all the hearing these .
12 And by the hands of _ the ambassadors , many signs and wonders was _ becoming , among the people , and all were with _ one_ accord in the Veranda of _ Solomōn/(Shə lmoh) .
13 But of _ the rest no _ one was _ daring to _ be_ being_ joined_ together to _ them , but the people was _ magnifying them , 14 and more believing were _ being_ added in _ the master , multitudes of _ both _ men and women , 15 so _ as even to _ be_ bringing_ out the sick on the roads , and to _ be_ putting them on cots and pallets , in _ order_ that coming of _ Petros , even _ if the shadow may _ overshadow on _ someone of _ them .
16 And the multitude was _ coming_ together also from _ the surrounding the _ cities of _ Hierousalaʸm/(Yə rūshālayim) , bringing the _ sick and being _ being_ tormented by unclean spirits , who were _ all _ being_ healed .
17 But the chief _ priest and all the with him , being the sect of _ the Saddoukaios _ sect having _ risen_ up , were _ filled with _ jealousy , 18 and they _ laid_ on their hands on the ambassadors , and they _ put them in public jail .
19 But an _ messenger of _ the _ master opened _ up the doors of _ the prison through , the _ night , and having _ led_ them _ out said , 20 Be _ going , and having _ been_ stood , in the temple be _ speaking to _ the people all the messages of _ the this _ life .
21 And having _ heard , they _ came_ in by the dawn into the temple , and they _ were_ teaching .
And having _ arrived the chief _ priest and the with him , they _ called_ together the council and all the council of _ the sons of _ Israaʸl/(Yisrāʼēl ) , and they _ sent_ out to the prison for _ them to _ be_ brought .
22 But they having _ arrived attendants , not found them in the prison , and having _ returned , they _ reported 23 saying , that We _ found the the _ prison having _ been_ shut with all security , and the guards having _ stood before the doors , but having _ opened_ up , we _ found no _ one inside .
24 And when they _ heard the these messages , both the officer of _ the temple and the chief _ priests were _ thoroughly_ perplexing concerning them , what wishfully this might _ become .
25 But having _ arrived , someone reported to _ them , that Behold , the men whom you _ all_ put in the prison are in the temple , having _ stood and teaching the people .
26 Then having _ gone_ away , the officer with the attendants was _ bringing them , not with force , because/for they _ were_ fearing the people , lest they _ may_ be_ stoned .
27 And having _ brought them , they _ set them in the council .
And the chief _ priest asked them 28 saying , we _ commanded to _ you_ all By _ a _ charge not to _ be_ teaching in the this name , and see , you _ all_ have_ filled the Hierousalaʸm/(Yə rūshālayim) with _ the teaching of _ you_ all , and you _ all_ are_ wishing to _ bring_ upon on us the blood of _ the this _ man .
29 But Petros and the ambassadors answering said :
To _ be_ yielding it _ is_ fitting to _ god , rather than people .
30 The god of _ the fathers of _ us raised Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) , whom you _ all handed _ over , having _ hanged him on a _ stake .
31 the god exalted This originator and saviour , by _ the right hand of _ him , which to _ give repentance to _ the _ Israaʸl/(Yisrāʼēl ) and forgiveness of _ sins .
32 And we are witnesses of _ the these _ messages , and the the holy spirit , whom the god gave to _ the yielding to _ him .
33 And they having _ heard were _ being_ cut_ through , and they _ were_ wishing to _ kill them .
34 But a _ certain Farisaios _ party _ member by _ the _ name Gamaliaʸl/(Gamlīʼēl ) having _ risen_ up in the council , a _ law_ teacher honoured by _ all the people , he _ commanded them to _ make the men .
outside a _ little time .
35 And he _ said to them :
Men , _ from_ Israaʸl/(Yisrāʼēl ) , be _ taking_ heed to _ yourselves what you _ all_ are_ going to _ be_ doing with the these men .
36 For/Because before these the days Theudas rose _ up , saying himself to _ be someone , to _ whom was _ joined_ up of _ men a _ number of _ about _ four_ hundred , who was _ killed and all as _ many_ as were _ being_ persuaded by _ him were _ dispersed and became to nothing .
37 After this , Youdas/(Yə hūdāh) the Galilaios rose _ up in the days of _ the registration , and drew _ away people after him , and _ that perished , and all as _ many_ as were _ being_ persuaded by _ him were _ scattered .
38 And now I _ am_ saying the to _ you_ all , withdraw from the these men and allow them , because if this the counsel or this the work it _ may_ be from humans , will _ be_ being_ torn_ down , 39 but if it _ is from god , you _ all will _ not _ be_ able to _ tear_ down them , lest also you _ all_ may_ be_ found god-opposers .
And they _ were_ persuaded by _ him , 40 and having _ called_ to the ambassadors , having _ beat they _ commanded them not to _ be_ speaking in the name of _ the _ Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) , and they _ sent_ away them .
41 Therefore they indeed were _ going , rejoicing from the _ presence of _ the council that they _ were_ considered_ worthy to _ be_ dishonoured for his name .
42 And every day in the temple and in /each /_ house , they _ were_ not _ ceasing teaching and good _ message_ preaching the chosen _ one/messiah , Yaʸsous .
