13 And there _were prophets and teachers in Antioⱪeia, in the assembly being:
the both Barnabas, and Sumeōn/(Shimˊōn) who being _called Niger, and Loukios the from _Kuraʸnaʸ, And Manaaʸn raised _with of _Haʸrōdaʸs of _the quarter _ruler, and Saulos.
2 And of _them ministering to _the master and fasting, the the holy spirit said:
Indeed set _apart to _me the Barnabas and Saulos, because/for the work which I _have _called_ them _to.
3 Then having _fasted, and having _prayed, and having _laid _on their hands on _them, they _sent _away them.
4 Therefore indeed They having _been _sent _out by the holy spirit, came _down to Seleukeia, and from _there they _sailed _away to Kupros.
5 And having _become in Salamis, they _were _proclaiming the message of _the of_god in the synagogues of _the Youdaiōns.
And they _were_ also _having Yōannaʸs, an_attendant.
6 And having _passed _through all the island until Pafos, they _found a_man, a_certain Youdaiōns false _prophet magician, to _whose name was Bariaʸsous, 7 who was with the proconsul Sergios Paulos, a_ intelligent _man.
He, having _called _to Barnabas and Saulos/(Shāʼūl), sought _after to _hear the message of_ the _god.
8 But Elumas the magician (for thus is _being _translated the name of _him was _resisting against _them) seeking to _pervert the proconsul from the faith.
9 But Saulos, the one also called Paulos, having _been _filled with_the_ holy _spirit, having _looked _intently at him 10 said:
Oh son of_the_devil full of _all deceit and all fraud, enemy of _all righteousness, not will _you _be _ceasing perverting the the straight ways of _the master?
11 And now see, the_hand of_the_master on you, and you _will _be blind, not seeing the sun until a_season.
and immediately a_mist and darkness fell on him, and going _around he _was _seeking one _leading _by _hand.
12 Then the proconsul having _seen what having _become, he _believed being _astonished at the teaching of _the master.
13 And the ones around him Paulos having _been _launched from the Pafos, came to Pergaʸ of_ the _Pamfulia.
But Yōannaʸs having _went _away from them, he _returned to Hierousalaʸm/(Yərūshālayim).
14 But they, having _passed _through from the Pergaʸ, arrived to Antioⱪeia the Pisidia, and having _come into the synagogue on _the day of _the days _of _rest, they _sat _down.
15 And after the public _reading of _the law and of _the prophets, the synagogue _leaders sent _out to them saying:
Men, brothers, if among you _all there _is any message of _exhortation toward the people, be _speaking it.
16 And Paulos having _stood _up, and having _gestured with _his hand said:
Men, ones_from _Israaʸl/(Yisrā^ʼēl), and you _all revering the god, hear me.
17 The god of _the people of _this Israaʸl/(Yisrā^ʼēl) chose the fathers of _us, and exalted the people in the sojourn in the_land of _Aiguptos/(Miʦrayim), and with ^his_arm high, he _led _out them out _of it, 18 and the_time he _endured them in the wilderness about, because/forty _year, 19 and having _taken _down seven nations in the_land of_Ⱪanaʼan/(Kinaˊan), he _parcelled _out the land of _them, 20 about four _hundred years and fifty.
And after these things, he _gave them judges until Samouaʸl/(Shəmū^ʼēl) the_prophet.
21 And _from _there they _requested a_king, and the god gave to _them the Saulos/(Shāʼūl), son of _Kis/(Qīsh), a_man of the_tribe of _Beniamin/(Binyāmīn), for_ forty _years.
22 And having _removed him, he _raised the Dawid/(Dāvid) to _them for a_king, to _whom also he _spoke having _testified:
I _found Dawid the son of_ the _Yessai/(Yishay):
a_man according _to the heart of _me, who will _be _doing all the wills of _me.
23 Of the seed of _this one the god according _to promise, brought to_ the _Israaʸl/(Yisrā^ʼēl) a_saviour, Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa), 24 of _Yōannaʸs having _publicly _proclaimed before the_face of _the entrance of _him, a_immersion of _repentance to _all the people of _Israaʸl/(Yisrā^ʼēl).
25 And while Yōannaʸs was _fulfilling the course, he _was _saying:
What you _all _are _suspecting me to _be?
I am_ not _he, but see, he _is _coming after me, of _whom I _am not worthy to _untie the sandal of _his feet.
26 Men, brothers, sons of_the_descent of _Abraʼam/(ʼAⱱrāhām), and you _all among you _all revering the god, to _us the message of_ the this _salvation was _sent _away.
27 For/Because the ones dwelling in Hierousalaʸm/(Yərūshālayim) and the rulers of _them, having _not _known this one and the voices of _the prophets, who being _read on every day _of _rest, having _judged him they _fulfilled them.
28 And having _found not _one cause for _death, they _requested Pilatos him to _be _killed.
29 And when they _finished all the things having _been _written concerning him, having _taken _down him from the stake, they _put him in a_tomb.
30 But the god raised him from the_dead, 31 who was _seen for more days, to _the ones having _come _up _with him from the Galilaia/(Gālīl) to Hierousalaʸm, who are now witnesses of _him to the people.
32 And we are _good _message _preaching to _you _all the the promise having _become to fathers, 33 that the god has _fulfilled this to _the children of _us, having _raised _up Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa), as also in the the second psalm it _has _been _written:
you are son of _me, today I have _bore you.
34 And that raised_ him _up from the_dead, no _longer going to _be _returning to decay, thus he _has _said, that I _will _be _giving to _you _all the devout the faithful of _Dawid/(Dāvid).
35 Therefore also in another psalm he _is _saying:
You will_ not _be _giving the devout one of _you to _see decay.
36 For/Because on _one _hand Dawid having _attended to _the the counsel of_god to_^his_own generation, was _fallen _asleep and was _added to the fathers of _him, and saw decay.
37 On _the _other _hand which one the god raised not saw decay.
38 Therefore it _let _be known, to _you _all, men, brothers, that through this one, forgiveness of _sins is _being _proclaimed to _you _all, and from all things of _which you _all _were_ not _able to _be _justified in the_law of _Mōsaʸs/(Mosheh), 39 everyone which believing in this one is _being _justified.
40 Therefore be _watching _out, lest the message having _been _said in the prophets may _come _over:
41 Watch, the scoffers, and wonder and be _perishing, because I am _doing a_work in the days of _you _all, a_work which by _no _means you _all _may_ not _believe, if someone may _be _describing _in _detail it to _you _all.
42 And of _them departing, they _were _imploring these the messages to _be _spoken to _them on the afterward day _of _rest.
43 And having _been _released of _the synagogue, many of _the Youdaiōns and of _the worshipping converts followed the after _Paulos and the Barnabas, who addressing to _them, were _persuading them to _be _remaining in _the grace of_ the _god.
44 And on _the coming day _of _rest, almost all the city was _gathered _together to _hear the message of_ the _god.
45 But the Youdaiōns having _seen the crowds, they _were _filled with _jealousy and they _were _speaking _against against _the_ slandering _things being _spoken by Paulos.
46 and, the Paulos and the Barnabas Having _spoken _boldly said, it _was necessary the message of_ the _god first to _be _spoken To _you _all.
Since and you _all _are _pushing_ it _away, and not worthy you _all _are _judging yourselves of_ the _eternal life, see, we _are _being _turned to the pagans.
47 For/Because thus the master has _commanded to _us:
I _have _set you for a_light of_the_pagans, which you to _be for salvation to the_last of _the earth.
48 And hearing it the pagans, they _were _rejoicing and were _glorifying the message of _the master, and as _many _as were having _been _appointed to eternal life believed.
49 And the message of _the master was _being _carried _through through all the region.
50 But the Youdaiōns incited the the prominent worshipping women, and the leaders of _the city, and they _stirred _up a_persecution against the Paulos and Barnabas, and they _throw_ them _out from the regions of _them.
51 But they, having _shaken _off the dust of _the feet against them, came to Ikonion.
52 And the apprentices/followers were _being _filled with _joy and the_ holy _spirit.
