7 And the chief _ priest said :
- these is _ having thus ?
2 And he was _ saying :
Men , brothers and fathers , hear me .
The god of _ the _ glory was _ seen by _ Abraʼam/(ʼAⱱrāhām) _ the father of _ us , him being in the Mesopotamia before or/than to _ dwell in Ⱪarran/(Ḩārān) , 3 and he _ said to him :
Come _ out from the land of _ you and from the relatives of _ you , and come into the land whichever I _ will_ be_ showing wishfully to _ you .
4 Then having _ come_ out from the _ land of _ _ from_ Ⱪaldia/(Kasdiy) , he _ dwelt in Ⱪarran .
And _ from_ there after the time the father of _ him to _ die_ off , he _ removed him into the this land , in which you _ all are _ now _ dwelling .
5 And not gave to _ him an _ inheritance in it , nor the _ tribunal of _ a _ foot , but he _ promised to _ give to _ him for a _ possession it , and to _ the descendants of _ him after him , not being to _ him a _ child .
6 But the god spoke thus that will _ be the descendants of _ him :
a _ sojourner in anothers land , and they _ will_ be_ enslaving it and they _ will_ be_ mistreating it four _ hundred years .
7 But I the god will _ be_ judging the nation for _ whichever if they _ may_ serve , said :
And after these , they _ will_ be_ coming_ out and will _ be_ serving unto _ me in the this place .
8 And he _ gave to _ him the _ covenant of _ circumcision , and thus he _ bore the Isaʼak/(Yiʦḩāq) , and circumcised him on _ the the eighth day , and Isaʼak bore the Yakōb/(Yaˊₐqoⱱ) , and Twelve the Yakōb patriarchs .
9 And the patriarchs having _ been_ jealous the of _ Yōsaʸf/(Yōşēf) , gave _ back him into Aiguptos/(Miʦrayim) , but the god was with him , 10 and he _ rescued him out _ of all the tribulations of _ him , and gave to _ him favour and wisdom before Faraō/(Farˊoh) , king of _ Aiguptos , and he _ appointed him leading over Aiguptos , and over all the house of _ him .
11 And a _ famine came on all the Aiguptos and Ⱪanaʼan/(Kinaˊan) , and great tribulation , and the fathers of _ us were _ not _ finding food .
12 But Yakōb having _ heard , being grain in Aiguptos , sent _ away the fathers of _ us first .
13 And on the second time , Yōsaʸf was _ made_ known by _ the brothers of _ him , and the descent of _ Yōsaʸf it _ became manifest to _ the _ Faraō .
14 And Yōsaʸf having _ sent_ out , summoned Yakōb , the father of _ him , and all the relatives , in seventy five souls .
15 And Yakōb came _ down into Aiguptos , and he and the fathers of _ us died , 16 and they _ were_ replaced to Suⱪem/(Shə kem) , and they _ were_ put in the tomb , which Abraʼam/(ʼAⱱrāhām) purchased for _ a _ value of _ silver from the sons of _ Emmor/(Ḩₐmōr) in Suⱪem .
17 But as the time of _ the promise , which the god promised to _ the _ Abraʼam was _ nearing , the people grew and was _ multiplied in Aiguptos , 18 until of _ which another king rose _ up over Aiguptos , who had _ not _ known the Yōsaʸf/(Yōşēf) .
19 He , having _ taken_ advantage of _ the race of _ us , mistreated the fathers which to _ be_ making the babies of _ them abandoned , in _ order that to _ not _ be_ being_ kept_ alive .
20 In that time Mōsaʸs/(Mosheh) was _ born , and he _ was beautiful to _ the _ god , who was _ brought_ up three months in the house of _ the father .
21 And , having _ been_ set_ out of _ him the daughter of _ Faraō/(Farˊoh) took _ him _ away , and brought _ him _ up for _ herself for a _ son .
22 And Mōsaʸs was _ instructed in in _ all the _ wisdom of _ the _ Aiguptos/(Miʦrayim)ians , and was powerful in the _ messages and the _ works of _ him .
23 But when a _ forty _ year _ time was _ being_ fulfilled to _ him , went _ up in the heart of _ him to _ visit the brothers of _ him , the sons of _ Israaʸl/(Yisrāʼēl ) .
24 And having _ seen one being _ wronged , he _ retaliated and did vengeance for _ the being _ distressed , having _ struck the from _ Aiguptos/(Miʦrayim) .
25 And he _ was_ thinking the brothers to _ be_ understanding that the god by the _ hand of _ him is _ giving salvation to _ them , but they not understood .
26 And on _ the following day , he _ was_ seen to _ them quarrelling , and he _ was_ reconciling them to peace , having _ said :
Men , you _ all_ are brothers .
for _ Why _ reason are _ you_ all_ injuring one _ another ?
27 But the injuring your neighbor pushed _ him _ away having _ said :
Who appointed you ruler and judge over us ?
28 You are _ not _ wanting to _ kill me , which manner you _ killed the from _ Aiguptos/(Miʦrayim) yesterday ?
29 And Mōsaʸs/(Mosheh) fled at the this statement :
and became a _ sojourner in the _ land of _ Madiam/(Midyān) , where he _ bore two sons .
30 And forty years having _ been_ fulfilled :
an _ messenger was _ seen to _ him in the wilderness of _ the _ Mount Sina/(Şīnay) , in a _ flame of _ fire of _ a _ thorn_ bush .
31 And the Mōsaʸs having _ seen it , marvelled at _ the vision .
And him approaching to _ observe it , there _ became the _ voice of _ the _ master :
32 I am the god of _ the fathers of _ you , the god of _ Abraʼam/(ʼAⱱrāhām) , and of _ Isaʼak/(Yiʦḩāq) , and of _ Yakōb/(Yaˊₐqoⱱ) .
And Mōsaʸs having _ become trembling , was _ not _ daring to _ observe .
33 And the master said to _ him :
Untie the sandal of _ the feet of _ you , because/for the place on which you _ have_ stood ground is holy .
34 Having _ seen , I _ saw the mistreatment of _ the people of _ me which in Aiguptos/(Miʦrayim) , and I _ heard of _ the groaning of _ them , and I _ came_ down to _ rescue them , And now come , I _ may_ send_ you _ out to Aiguptos .
35 This the Mōsaʸs , whom they _ disowned having _ said :
Who you appointed ruler and judge ?
This man the god has _ sent_ out ruler and redeemer , with the _ hand of _ the _ messenger which having _ been_ seen by _ him in the thorn _ bush .
36 This man led _ them _ out , having _ done wonders and signs in the Aiguptos , and in the _ Red Sea , and in the wilderness , because/forty years .
37 This is the Mōsaʸs/(Mosheh) the man having _ said to _ the sons of _ Israaʸl/(Yisrāʼēl ) :
- god will _ be_ raising_ up A _ prophet to _ you_ all , from the brothers of _ you_ all , like me .
38 This is the man having _ become in the assembly in the wilderness , with the messenger which speaking to _ him on the Mount Sina/(Şīnay) , and of _ the fathers of _ us , who received the _ living _ oracles to _ give to _ you_ all , 39 to _ whom the fathers of _ us willed not to _ become obedient , but they _ pushed_ away him and they _ were_ turned in the hearts of _ them to Aiguptos , 40 having _ said to _ the _ Aʼarōn/(ʼAhₐron) :
Make for _ us gods who will _ be_ going_ before before _ us .
For/Because the this Mōsaʸs , who led _ out us from the _ land of _ Aiguptos/(Miʦrayim) , we _ have_ not _ known what became to _ him .
41 And they _ made_ a_ calf in the those days , and they _ brought_ up a _ sacrifice to _ the idol , and they _ were_ being_ gladdened in the works of _ the hands of _ them .
42 But the god turned , and gave _ them _ over to _ be_ serving unto _ the army of _ the _ heaven , as it _ has_ been_ written in scroll of _ the prophets :
You _ all_ not _ offered victims and sacrifices to _ me , because/forty years ?
in the wilderness , house of _ Israaʸl/(Yisrāʼēl ) ?
43 And you _ all_ took_ up the tent of _ the _ Moloⱪ/(Molek) , and the star of _ Ɽemfan _ the god of _ you_ all , the images which you _ all_ made to _ be_ prostrating before _ them .
And I _ will_ be_ removing you _ all beyond Babulōn/(Bāⱱel?
) .
44 The tent of _ the testimony was with _ the fathers of _ us in the wilderness , as directed the speaking to _ the _ Mōsaʸs/(Mosheh) , to _ make it according _ to the pattern that he _ had_ seen , 45 which also the fathers of _ us they _ brought_ in , having _ inherited with Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) in the possession of _ the nations , whom the god drove _ out from the _ face of _ the fathers of _ us , until the days of _ Dawid/(Dāvid) , 46 who found favour before the god , and requested to _ find a _ tent for _ the house of _ Yakōb/(Yaˊₐqoⱱ) .
47 But Solomōn/(Shə lmoh) built the _ house for _ him .
48 But the highest is _ not _ dwelling in handmade houses , as the prophet is _ saying , 49 - heaven is a _ throne to _ me , and the the _ earth is a _ footstool of _ the feet of _ me .
What house you _ all_ will_ be_ building for _ me ?
The _ master is _ saying , or what place is of _ the rest of _ me ?
50 Not the hand of _ me made all these ?
51 Stiff-necked and uncircumcised in _ hearts and the ears , you _ all are _ always _ opposing against _ the the holy spirit , as are the fathers of _ you_ all , you _ all also .
52 Which of _ the prophets the fathers of _ you_ all not persecuted ?
And they _ killed_ off the having _ foretold concerning the advent of _ the righteous , of _ whom now you _ all became betrayers and murderers .
53 Who received the law in the _ ordinance of _ messengers , and not kept it .
54 And hearing these , they _ were_ being_ cut_ through in _ the hearts of _ them , and they _ were_ grating their teeth at him .
55 But being full of _ the _ holy _ spirit , having _ looked_ intently into the heaven , he _ saw the _ glory of _ god , and Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) having _ stood by the _ right of _ the _ god , 56 and said :
Behold , I _ am_ observing the heavens having _ been_ opened_ up , and the son of _ the _ man having _ stood by the _ right of _ the _ god .
57 But having _ cried_ out with _ a _ loud _ voice , they _ held the ears of _ them , and they _ rushed with _ one_ accord on him .
58 And having _ throw_ out him out the city , they _ were_ stoning .
And the witnesses put _ away the robes of _ them , before the feet of _ a _ young_ man being _ named Saulos/(Shāʼūl) .
59 And they _ were_ stoning the Stefanos , who _ calling and saying :
master Yaʸsous , receive the spirit of _ me .
60 And having _ knelt on _ his knees , he _ cried_ out with _ a _ loud _ voice :
master , you _ may_ not _ set this the sin to _ them .
And having _ said this , he _ was_ fallen_ asleep .
