21 And when it _ became us to _ be_ launched , having _ been_ withdrawn from them , having _ run_ straight we _ came to the Kōs , and on _ the_ next _ day to the Ɽodos , and _ from_ there to Patara .
2 And having _ found a _ ship crossing _ over into Foinikaʸ , having _ boarded we _ were_ launched .
3 And the Kupros having _ appeared , and having _ left it on _ the _ left , we _ were_ sailing to Suria/(ʼArām) and we _ came_ down at Turos/(Tsor) , because/for there the ship was unloading the cargo .
4 And having _ sought_ out the apprentices/followers , we _ remained_ on there seven days , who were _ saying by the spirit to _ the _ Paulos not to _ be_ setting_ foot_ in to Hierousalaʸm/(Yə rūshālayim) .
5 And when it _ became to _ us to _ finish_ out the days , having _ come_ out we _ were_ journeying , wives and children accompanying with us all , as _ far_ as outside the city , and having _ knelt the knees on the shore having _ prayed , 6 we _ withdrew from _ one_ another and we _ went_ up into the ship , and those returned to their own homes .
7 And we , having _ completed the voyage from Turos , arrived to Ptolemais , and having _ greeted the brothers , we _ remained one day with them .
8 And on _ the day of _ next , having _ come_ out we _ came to Kaisareia , and having _ come_ in into the house of _ Filippos , the good _ message_ preacher , being of the seven , we _ remained with him .
9 And with _ this man were four daughters , virgins prophesying .
10 And remaining _ on more days , a _ certain prophet by _ the _ name Agabos came _ down from the Youdaia , 11 and having _ come to us , and having _ taken_ up the belt of _ the _ Paulos , having _ bound of _ himself the feet and the hands , he _ said :
The the holy spirit is _ saying these :
The man of _ whom is the this belt , thus the Youdaiōns in Hierousalaʸm will _ be_ binding , and they _ will_ be_ giving_ over him into the _ hands of _ the _ pagans .
12 And when we _ heard these , both we and the of _ the _ locals were _ imploring , which him not to _ be_ going_ up to Hierousalaʸm/(Yə rūshālayim) .
13 Then the Paulos answered :
What are _ you_ all_ doing , weeping and breaking the heart of _ me ?
For/Because I I _ am_ having ready not only to _ be_ bound , but also to _ die_ off in Hierousalaʸm , because/for the name of _ the master Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) .
14 And him not being _ persuaded , we _ kept_ quiet having _ said :
The will of _ the master let _ be_ becoming .
15 And after the these days , having _ made_ preparations , we _ were_ going_ up to Hierousalaʸm .
16 And also of _ the apprentices/followers from Kaisareia came _ together with us , bringing us to _ Mnasōn a _ certain ancient from _ Kupros apprentice/follower with whom we _ may_ be_ lodged .
17 And of _ us having _ become at Hierousalaʸm , the brothers gladly welcomed us .
18 and on _ the day following , the Paulos was _ entering with us to Yakōbos/(Yaˊₐqoⱱ) , and all the elders arrived .
19 And having _ greeted them , he _ was_ explaining by each one , of _ what the god did among the pagans by the service of _ him .
20 And they having _ heard were _ glorifying the god , and they _ said to _ him :
You _ are_ observing , brother , how _ many tens _ of_ thousands are among the Youdaiōns which having _ believed , and they _ are_ all _ being zealous for _ the law .
21 And they _ were_ instructed concerning you , that you _ are_ teaching apostasy from Mōsaʸs/(Mosheh) all Youdaiōns the among the pagans , saying them not to _ be_ circumcising their children , nor to _ be_ walking in _ the customs .
22 Therefore what is _ it ?
Certainly they _ will_ be_ hearing that you _ have_ come .
23 Therefore do this , what we _ are_ saying to _ you .
Four Men are with _ us , having a _ vow for themselves .
24 Having _ taken these men , be _ purified with them and spend for them , in _ order_ that they _ will_ be_ shaving his head , and all will _ be_ knowing that of _ which they _ have_ been_ instructed about you nothing is , but you _ are_ aligning also yourself , keeping the law .
25 But concerning the pagans having _ believed , we sent _ out having _ judged them to _ be_ keeping , from _ the and/both idol _ sacrificed , and blood , and strangled animals , and sexual _ immorality .
26 Then the Paulos having _ taken the men , on _ the following day with them having _ been_ purified , was _ entering into the temple , proclaiming the fulfillment of _ the days of _ the purification , until of _ which the offering was _ offered for each one of _ them .
27 And when the seven days were _ going , to _ be_ being_ completed , the Youdaiōns from the Asia , having _ seen him in the temple , were _ confounding all the crowd , and they _ laid_ on their hands on him 28 crying _ out :
Men , _ from_ Israaʸl/(Yisrāʼēl ) , be _ giving_ help .
This is the man , who teaching all everywhere against the people , and the law , and the this place , and still also brought _ in Hellaʸns into the temple , and has _ defiled the this holy place .
29 For/Because they _ were having _ previously_ seen Trofimos the from _ Efesos in the city with him , whom they _ were_ thinking that the Paulos brought _ in into the temple .
30 And the whole city was _ stirred , and a _ rushing_ together of _ the people became , and having _ taken_ hold of _ the _ Paulos , they _ were_ dragging him outside the temple , and immediately the doors were _ shut .
31 and seeking to _ kill_ him _ off , there _ went_ up an _ allegation to _ the commander of _ the cohort , that all Hierousalaʸm/(Yə rūshālayim) is _ being_ confounded , 32 who immediately having _ taken soldiers and centurions , ran _ down on them , and which having _ seen the commander and the soldiers , they _ ceased striking the Paulos .
33 Then having _ neared , the commander took _ hold of _ him , and commanded him to _ be_ bound with _ two _ chains , and he _ was_ inquiring who he _ might_ be and what he _ is having _ done .
34 But others , were _ crying_ out some other in the crowd .
And him not of _ being_ able to _ know the certain because _ of the commotion , he _ commanded him to _ be_ being_ brought into the barracks .
35 And when he _ became to the stairs , it _ happened him to _ be_ being_ borne by the soldiers , because _ of the force of _ the crowd .
36 For/Because the multitude of _ the people was _ following crying _ out :
Be _ Taking_ him _ away .
37 And going to _ be_ being_ brought_ in into the barracks , the Paulos is _ saying to _ the commander :
- is _ it_ permitting to _ me to _ say something to you ?
And he was _ saying :
You _ are_ knowing In _ Hellaʸn ?
38 Consequently are you not the from _ Aiguptos/(Miʦrayim) , who before these the days , having _ upset and having _ led_ out the four _ thousand men of _ the assassins into the wilderness ?
39 But the Paulos said :
On _ one_ hand I am a _ Youdaiōns a _ man , from _ Tarsos , of _ the _ Kilikia , a _ citizen of _ an _ not _ insignificant city .
On _ the_ other_ hand I _ am_ beseeching of _ you , permit to _ me to _ speak to the people .
40 And of _ him _ having_ permitted , the Paulos having _ stood on the stairs , gestured with _ his hand to _ the people , and great silence having _ become , he _ called_ out in _ his Hebraios language saying ,
