22 Men, brothers, and fathers, hear which to you _all now of_the_defense of _me.

3 I am a_ Youdaiōns _man, having _been _born in Tarsos of_ the _Kilikia, but having _been _brought _up in the this city, before the feet of _Gamaliaʸl/(Gamlī^ʼēl), having _been _instructed according _to the_exactness of _our ancestral law, being zealous the for_god, as all you _all are today, 4 who I _persecuted this the way until death, binding and giving _over to prisons, both men and women, 5 as also the chief _priest is _testifying to _me and all the council _of _elders, from whom also having _received letters to the brothers, I _was _going to Damaskos/(Dammeseq), going _to_ also _bring the ones being there, having _been _bound to Hierousalaʸm/(Yərūshālayim), in _order _that they _may _be _punished.
6 But it _became to _me journeying, and nearing to_ the _Damaskos about midday, suddenly much light from the sky to _flash _around around me.
7 And I _fell to the ground, and I _heard of_a_voice saying to _me:
Saulos/(Shāʼūl), Saulos, why are _you _persecuting me?
8 And I answered:
Who are _you, master?
And he _said to me:
I am Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) the from _Nazaret, whom you are _persecuting.
9 And the ones being with me, on _one _hand they _saw the light, on _the _other _hand they_ not _heard the voice of _the one speaking to _me.
10 And I _said What may _I _do, master?
And the master said to me:
Having _risen _up be _going to Damaskos, and _there will _be _being _spoken to _you concerning all things that has _been _determined for _you to _do.
11 But as I _was_ not _focusing _in because _of the glory of _that the light, being _led _by _hand by the ones being _with with _me, I _came to Damaskos.
12 And Ananias a_certain devout man according _to the law, being _attested by all the Youdaiōns dwelling there, 13 having _come to me and having _stood _by, he _said to _me:
Saulos, brother, receive _sight.
And _I looked _up on him to_ the _same hour.
14 And he said:
The god of _the fathers of _us appointed you to _know the will of _him, and to _see the righteous one, and to _hear the_voice out _of the mouth of _him.
15 Because you _will _be a_witness for _him to all people, of _what things you _have _seen and heard.
16 And now why are _you _waiting?
Having _risen _up, immerse and wash _away the sins of _you, having _appealed to _the name of _him.
17 And it _became to _me, having _returned to Hierousalaʸm/(Yərūshālayim), and praying of _me in the temple, me to _become in a_trance, 18 and to _see him saying to _me:
Hurry and come _out with quickness out _of Hierousalaʸm, because they will_ not _be _accepting of _you the_testimony concerning me.
19 And _I said:
master, they are _knowing that I was imprisoning and beating in the synagogues, the ones believing in you.
20 And when the blood of _Stefanos the witness of _you, was _being _poured _out, I_ myself _was also having _stood _by, and consenting, and keeping the clothes of _the ones killing him.
21 And he _said to me:
Be _going, because I will _be _sending_ you _away to far pagans.
22 And they _were _hearing from _him until this the message, and they _lifted _up the voice of _them saying:
Be _taking _away the such man from the earth, because/for it _was_ not _befitting him to _be _living.
23 and them Crying _out, and throwing _down their clothes, and throwing dust into the air, 24 the commander commanded him to _be _being _brought _in into the barracks, having _said him to _be _being _interrogated by _floggings, in _order _that he _may _know for what cause they _were _crying _out thus to _him.
25 But as they _stretched_ him _out with _the straps, the Paulos said to the centurion having _stood, is _it _permitting to _you _all to _be _flogging if a_man Ɽōmaios and uncondemned?
26 And having _heard it the centurion, having _approached to _the commander, he _reported saying:
What are _you _going to _be _doing?
For/Because the this man is a_Ɽōmaios.
27 And having _approached, the commander said to _him:
Be _telling to _me, are you a_Ɽōmaios?
And he was _saying:
Yes.
28 and the commander answered:
I this the acquired citizenship of_a_great sum.
But the Paulos was _saying:
But I even have _been _born free.
29 Therefore the ones going to _be _interrogating him immediately withdrew from him, the also and was_ commander _afraid, having _learned that he _is a_Ɽōmaios, and because he _was having _bound him.
30 But on _the day of _next, wishing to _know the for _certain, which why he _is _being _accused by the Youdaiōns, he _released him, and commanded the chief _priests and all the council, to _come _together, and having _brought _down the Paulos, he _set him among them.
