10 And a_ certain _man in Kaisareia by_the_name Kornaʸlios, a_centurion of of_the_Cohort which being _called from _Italia, 2 devout and revering the god with all the household of _him, doing many alms to _the people, and beseeching of_ the _god through everything.
3 About the_ninth hour of _the day he _saw in a_vision clearly, as _if, an_messenger of_ the _god having _come _in to him, and having _said to _him:
Kornaʸlios.
4 And he, having _looked _intently at _him and having _become frightened, said:
What is _it, master?
And he _said to _him:
The prayers of _you, and the alms of _you, went _up for a_memorial before the god.
5 And now send men to Yoppaʸ, and send _for a_certain Simōn, who is _being _called Petros.
6 This one is _being _lodged with a_certain Simōn a_tanner, whose house is by the_sea.
7 And when the messenger which speaking to _him, went _away, having _called two of _the house _servants and a_ devout _soldier of _the ones continuing with _him, 8 and having _explained all things to _them, he _sent_ them _out to the Yoppaʸ.
9 And on _the day of _next, those journeying and nearing to _the city, Petros went _up on the housetop to _pray, about the_hour sixth.
10 But he _became hungry and was _wanting to _taste, but them preparing, a_trance became on him, 11 and he _is _observing the heaven having _been _opened _up, and an_ certain _object coming _down, as a_ by _four _linen _sheet, great corners being _let _down on the earth, 12 in which was _being all the quadrupeds, and reptiles of _the earth, and birds of _the sky.
13 And a_voice became to him:
Having _risen _up, Petros, sacrifice and eat.
14 But the Petros said:
By _no _means, master, because I_ never _ate any common and unclean thing.
15 And a_voice said again for the_second time to him:
What the god cleansed, you be_ not _defiling.
16 And this became for three-times, and immediately the object was _taken _up into the heaven.
17 And while the Petros by himself was _thoroughly _perplexing, what wishfully might _be the vision that he _saw, see, the men which having _been _sent _out from the Kornaʸlios, having _inquired for _the house of_ the _Simōn, stood _by at the gate.
18 And having _called, they _were _inquiring if Simōn, who is being _called Petros, is _being _lodged here.
19 And the Petros pondering about the vision, the spirit said, to _him:
Behold, three men are _seeking you.
20 But having _risen _up, come _down and be _going with them, doubting nothing, because I have _sent_ them _out.
21 And Petros having _come _down, to the men said:
Behold, I am whom you _all _are _seeking, what is the cause for which you _all _are _coming?
22 And they said:
Kornaʸlios a_centurion, righteous man and revering the god, and being _attested by all the nation of _the Youdaiōns, was _called by an_ holy _messenger, to _send _for you to the house of _him, and to _hear messages from you.
23 Therefore having _called_ them _in.
he _lodged.
And on _the day of _next having _risen _up, he _came _out with them, and some of _the brothers which from Yoppaʸ came _together with _him.
24 And on _the day of _next, he _came _in into the Kaisareia.
And the Kornaʸlios was expecting them, having _called _together the relatives of _him and the close friends.
25 And as it _became which the Petros, to _come _in Kornaʸlios having _met with _him the, having _fallen at his feet, he _prostrated him.
26 But the Petros raised him saying:
Rise _up, I also myself am a_human.
27 And conversing with _him, he _came _in and he _is _finding many having _come _together.
28 And he _was _saying to them:
You _all are _knowing how unlawful it _is for_a_ Youdaiōns _man to _be _being _joined _together or to _be _approaching to_an_other _tribe.
The god to _and_ showed _me, to _be _calling not _one a_person common or unclean.
29 Therefore also having _been _sent _for I _came unquestionably.
Therefore I _am _inquiring for _what statement you _all _sent _for me?
30 And the Kornaʸlios was _saying:
From fourth day until this the hour, I _was praying in the house of _me the ninth hour, and see, a_man stood before me in shining clothing, 31 and he _is _saying:
Kornaʸlios, the prayer of _you was _listened _to and the alms of _you were _reminded before the god.
32 Therefore send to Yoppaʸ and summon Simōn, who is _being _called Petros, this one is _being _lodged in the_house of _Simōn, a_tanner by the_sea.
33 Therefore I_ immediately _sent to you, and you did well therefore.
having _arrived now we all are _being _present before the god, to _hear all the things having _been _commanded to _you by the master.
34 And Petros having _opened _up the mouth said:
In truth I _am _grasping that the god is not a_favourer, 35 but in every nation, the one revering him and working righteousness, is acceptable to _him.
36 The message he _sent _out to _the sons of _Israaʸl/(Yisrā^ʼēl), good _message _preaching peace through Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) chosen _one /messiah, this one is master of _all.
37 You _all have _known the message having _become throughout all the Youdaia, having _begun from the Galilaia/(Gālīl), after the immersion that Yōannaʸs proclaimed, 38 Yaʸsous which from Nazaret, how the god anointed him with_the_ holy _spirit and power, who passed _through doing _good and healing all the ones being _oppressed by the devil, because the god was with him.
39 And we are witnesses of _all things that he _did both in the region of _the Youdaiōns and in in _Hierousalaʸm/(Yərūshālayim), whom also they _killed, having _hanged him on a_stake.
40 This one the god raised on _the third day, and gave him to _become manifest, 41 not to _all the people, but to_the_witnesses which having _been _previously _appointed by the god, to _us, who ate _with and drank _with with _him after the time him to _rise _up from the_dead.
42 And he _commanded to _us to _proclaim to _the people, and to _testify that this one is the one having _been _designated by the god, as _judge of_the_living and the_dead.
43 To _this one all the prophets are _testifying, everyone which believing in him to _receive forgiveness of _sins through the name of _him.
44 The Petros still speaking the these messages, the the holy spirit fell _on on all the ones hearing the message.
45 And the believers from the_circumcision, as _many _as came _together the with _Petros marvelled, that the gift of _the holy spirit has _been _poured _out even on the pagans.
46 For/Because they _were _hearing of _them speaking with _tongues, and magnifying the god.
Then Petros answered, 47 Surely _not anyone is _able to _forbid the water these which to_ not _be _immersed, who received the the holy spirit, as we_ also _did?
48 and He _commanded them in the name of_Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) chosen _one /messiah to _be _immersed.
Then they _asked him to _remain _on some days.
