40 the_message which it _came to Yirmə^yāh/(Jeremiah) from_with YHWH after set _free DOM_him/it Nəⱱūzarʼₐdān the_chief _of the_bodyguards from (the)_Rāmāh when_he_took DOM_him/it and_he was_bound with_chains in _the_middle all _of the _exile[s]_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_Yəhūdāh/(Yihudah) who_were _being_taken _into _exile to_Bāⱱel.
2 And_ the_chief _of _he/it _took the_bodyguards (to)_Yirmə^yāh and_he/it _said to_him/it YHWH god _of_your he _spoke DOM the_harm (the)_this against the_place (the)_this.
3 And_he/it _brought and_ YHWH _he/it _made just_as he _said if/because you(pl)_sinned to/for_YHWH and_not you(pl)_listened to_his _of_voice and_it _was to/for_you(pl) wwww[fn] the_this.

8 And_they _came to Gədal^yāh to_(the)_Mizpah and_Ishmael the _son _of Nətan^yāh and_Yōḩānān/(Johanan) and_Yōnātān/(Yəhōnātān/(Jonathan)) the _sons _of Qārēaḩ and_Sərā^yāh the _son _of Tanḩumet and_the _sons of _Ephai[fn] the_Nəţofātī and_Jezaniah the _son _of the_Maˊₐkātī they and_their _of_men.
9 And_he _swore _an _oath to/for_them Gədal^yāh the _son _of ʼAḩīqām the _son _of Shāfān and_to_their _of_men to_say do _not be _afraid from_serving the_ones_from _Kasdiy dwell in/on _the_earth and_serve DOM the _king _of Bāⱱel so_that _it _may _go _well for_you(pl).
10 And_I here_I will _be_dwelling at_Mizpah to_stand to_(the)_face _of/in _front _of/before the_ones_from _Kasdiy who they _will _come to_us and_you(pl) gather wine and_summer _fruit and_oil and_put_them in_your(pl)_of_vessels and_dwell in_your(pl)_of_cities which you(pl)_have _taken _hold _of.
11 And_also all _of the_Yəhūdī/(Judeans) who were_in_Mōʼāⱱ and_among_the _people _of ˊAmmōn and_in_ʼEdōm and_which in_all the_lands they _heard if/because _that he _had _given the _king _of Bāⱱel a _remnant to_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_because/when he _had _appointed over_them DOM Gədal^yāh the _son _of ʼAḩīqām the _son _of Shāfān.
12 And_ all _of _they _returned the_Yəhūdī from_all the_places where they _had _been _driven _away there and_they _came the _land _of Yəhūdāh to Gədal^yāh to_(the)_Mizpah and_they _gathered wine and_summer _fruit much exceedingly.

16 And_ Gədal^yāh _he/it _said the _son _of ʼAḩīqām to Yōḩānān the _son _of Qārēaḩ do _not do[fn] DOM the_thing the_this if/because falsehood you are_speaking concerning Ishmael.
