Descripta vastatione urbis, et interitu, et captivitate populi, et perfidia regis, sequitur quid de Jeremia factum sit, et de reliquiis populi, quas propheta monuit ex verbo Domini sedere in terra sua, et servire regi Babylonis, ipsi vero maluerunt ire in Ægyptum, ubi eos postea Nabuchodonosor trucidavit, et ipsam Ægyptum vastavit.
