2 And _ the _ chief_ of_ he/it _ tookthe _ bodyguards(to) _ Yirmə yāh and _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it YHWH god _ of_ your he _ spokeDOM the _ harm (the) _ this against the _ place (the) _ this .
3 And _ he/it _ broughtand _ YHWH _ he/it _ madejust _ as he _ saidif/because you(pl) _ sinnedto/for _ YHWH and _ not you(pl) _ listenedto _ his _ of_ voice and _ it _ wasto/for _ you(pl) wwww [fn ] the _ this .
4 And _ now here I _ have _ set_ you_ freethe _ day from the _ chains which are _ onhand _ of_ your if is _ goodin _ your _ two’s_ of_ eyes to _ come with _ me Bāⱱel come and _ I _ will_ setDOM eye _ of_ my on _ you and _ if is _ displeasingin _ your _ two’s_ of_ eyes to _ come with _ me Bāⱱel refrain see all _ ofthe _ earth/land to _ your _ face to the _ place_ goodand _ near/to the _ place _ right in _ your _ two’s_ of_ eyes to _ go to _ there go .
5 And _ still _ he not he _ will_ returnand _ return to Gə dalyāh the _ son_ ofʼAḩīqām the _ son_ ofShāfān whom he _ has_ appointedthe _ king_ ofBāⱱel over _ the _ cities_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) and _ remain with _ him/it in _ the_ middle the _ people or to any _ of(the) _ place _ right in _ your _ two’s_ of_ eyes to _ go go and _ he _ gaveto _ him/it the _ chief_ ofthe _ bodyguardsa _ food_ allowanceand _ a _ presentand _ he/it _ sent_ out/away_ him/it .
6 And _ Yirmə yāh /(Jeremiah) _ he _ wentto Gə dalyāh the _ son_ ofʼAḩīqām to _ (the) _ Mizpah and _ he/it _ sat_ down//remained//livedwith _ him/it in _ the_ middle the _ people which _ remained on _ the_ earth .
7 and _ all _ of_ they _ heardthe _ commanders_ ofthe _ armieswhich in _ the_ field they and _ their _ of_ men if/because _ thatthe _ king_ ofhe _ had_ appointedof _ BāⱱelDOM Gə dalyāh the _ son_ ofʼAḩīqām on _ the_ earth and _ because/when he _ had_ appointedwith _ him/it men and _ women and _ little _ one[s]and _ some _ of _ the_ poor_ people_ ofthe _ earth/land from _ those _ who not they _ had_ been_ taken_ into_ exileto _ Bāⱱel .
8 And _ they _ cameto Gə dalyāh to _ (the) _ Mizpah and _ Ishmael the _ son_ ofNə tanyāh and _ Yōḩānān/(Johanan) and _ Yōnātān/(Yə hōnātān/(Jonathan)) the _ sons_ ofQārēaḩ and _ Sə rāyāh the _ son_ ofTanḩumet and _ the _ sonsof _ Ephai[fn ] the _ Nə ţofātī and _ Jezaniah the _ son_ ofthe _ Maˊₐkātī they and _ their _ of_ men .
9 And _ he _ swore_ an_ oathto/for _ them Gə dalyāh the _ son_ ofʼAḩīqām the _ son_ ofShāfān and _ to _ their _ of_ men to _ say do _ notbe _ afraidfrom _ serving the _ _ from_ Kasdiydwell in/on _ the_ earth and _ serve DOM the _ king_ ofBāⱱel so _ that _ it_ may_ go_ wellfor _ you(pl) .
10 And _ I here _ I will _ be_ dwellingat _ Mizpah to _ stand to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforethe _ _ from_ Kasdiywho they _ will_ cometo _ us and _ you(pl) gather wine and _ summer _ fruitand _ oil and _ put _ them in _ your(pl) _ of_ vessels and _ dwell in _ your(pl) _ of_ cities which you(pl) _ have_ taken_ hold_ of11 And _ also all _ ofthe _ Yə hūdī/(Judeans) who were _ in_ Mōʼāⱱ and _ among _ the _ people_ ofˊAmmōn and _ in _ ʼEdōm and _ which in _ all the _ lands they _ heardif/because _ thathe _ had_ giventhe _ king_ ofBāⱱel a _ remnantto _ Yə hūdāh/(Judah) and _ because/when he _ had_ appointedover _ them DOM Gə dalyāh the _ son_ ofʼAḩīqām the _ son_ ofShāfān .
12 And _ all _ of_ they _ returnedthe _ Yə hūdī from _ all the _ places where they _ had_ been_ driven_ awaythere and _ they _ camethe _ land_ ofYə hūdāh to Gə dalyāh to _ (the) _ Mizpah and _ they _ gatheredwine and _ summer _ fruitmuch exceedingly .
13 and _ Yōḩānān/(Johanan) the _ son_ ofQārēaḩ and _ all the _ commanders_ ofthe _ armieswhich in _ the_ field they _ cameto Gə dalyāh to _ (the) _ Mizpah .
14 And _ they _ saidto _ him/it at _ all _ (know)[fn ] do _ you_ knowif/because _ thatBaalis the _ king_ ofthe _ people_ ofˊAmmōn he _ has_ sentDOM Ishmael the _ son_ ofNə tanyāh to _ strike _ you life and _ not he _ believedto/for _ them Gə dalyāh the _ son_ ofʼAḩīqām .
15 And _ Yōḩānān the _ son_ ofQārēaḩ he _ saidto Gə dalyāh in _ secrecy at _ Mizpah to _ say let _ me_ goplease and _ let _ me_ strike_ downDOM Ishmael the _ son_ ofNə tanyāh and _ anyone not he _ will_ knowto/for _ what will _ he _ strike_ youlife and _ will _ they_ be_ scatteredall _ ofYə hūdāh who _ have _ gatheredto _ you and _ will _ it_ perishthe _ remnant_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) .
16 And _ Gə dalyāh _ he/it _ saidthe _ son_ ofʼAḩīqām to Yōḩānān the _ son_ ofQārēaḩ do _ notdo [fn ] DOM the _ thing the _ this if/because falsehood you are _ speakingconcerning Ishmael .
