4 sons _ of_ his And _ they _ went and _ they _ made a _ feast the _ house_ of each _ one day _ of_ his and _ they _ sent and _ they _ invited (to) _ the_ three _ of sisters _ of_ their [fn ] to _ eat and _ to _ drink with _ them .
5 And _ he/it _ was if/because the _ days_ of they _ had_ gone_ round of _ the _ feast and _ ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) _ he _ sent and _ he _ sanctified _ them and _ he _ rose_ early in _ morning and _ he _ offered_ up burnt _ offerings the _ number_ of all _ of_ them_ of_ of if/because ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) he _ said perhaps they _ have_ sinned children _ of_ my and _ they _ have_ blessed god in _ their _ of_ heart thus ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) he _ did all _ of the _ days .
6 and _ he/it _ was the _ day and _ the _ sons_ of _ they _ came the _ ʼElohīm to _ present _ themselves on YHWH and _ he _ came also the _ adversary among _ them .
7 And _ YHWH _ he/it _ said to the _ adversary from _ where are _ you_ coming and _ he _ answered the _ adversary DOM YHWH and _ he _ said from _ going _ about on _ the_ earth and _ from _ going _ about on _ it .
8 And _ YHWH _ he/it _ said to the _ adversary have _ you _ set heart _ of_ your on servant _ of_ my ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) if/because there _ is _ not like _ him on _ the_ earth a _ man blameless and _ upright fearing _ of (of) _ god and _ who _ turns _ aside from _ evil .
9 And _ he _ answered the _ adversary DOM YHWH and _ he _ said in _ vain has _ he_ feared ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) god .
10 Not you [fn ] have _ you_ put_ a_ hedge behind _ him and _ behind house _ of_ his and _ behind all _ of that to _ him/it from _ round _ about the _ work_ of his _ hands_ of_ of you _ have_ blessed and _ his _ of_ livestock it _ has_ spread_ out on _ the_ earth .
11 And _ but stretch _ out please hand _ of_ your and _ touch in _ all that to _ him/it if not on face _ of_ your he _ will _ bless_ you .
12 And _ YHWH _ he/it _ said to the _ adversary there all _ of that to _ him/it is _ in_ your _ of_ hand only to _ him/it do _ not stretch _ out hand _ of_ your and _ he/it _ went_ out the _ adversary from _ with the _ presence_ of YHWH .
13 And _ he/it _ was the _ day and _ his _ of_ sons and _ his _ of_ daughters were _ eating and _ drinking wine in _ house _ of their _ brother_ of_ of the _ firstborn .
14 And _ a _ messenger he _ came to ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) and _ he _ said the _ ox[en] they _ were plowing and _ the _ female_ donkeys were _ grazing on hands _ of_ their .
15 And _ Sabean[s] _ it _ fell and _ it _ took _ them and _ DOM the _ servants they _ struck_ down to _ the _ mouth _ of the _ sword and _ I _ have _ escaped only I I _ alone to _ announce to/for _ you(fs) .
16 Still this _ was _ speaking and _ this he _ came and _ he _ said the _ fire_ of god it _ fell from the _ heavens and _ it _ burnt (on) _ sheep and _ (on) _ servants and _ it _ consumed _ them and _ I _ have _ escaped only I I _ alone to _ announce to/for _ you(fs) .
17 Still this _ was _ speaking and _ this he _ came and _ he _ said the _ _ from_ Kasdiy they _ formed three companies and _ they _ made_ a_ raid on the _ camels and _ they _ took _ them and _ DOM the _ servants they _ struck_ down to _ the _ mouth _ of the _ sword and _ I _ have _ escaped only I I _ alone to _ announce to/for _ you(fs) .
18 Until this _ was _ speaking and _ this he _ came and _ he _ said sons _ of_ your and _ your(pl) _ of_ daughters were _ eating and _ drinking wine in _ house _ of their _ brother_ of_ of the _ firstborn .
19 And _ see/lo/see a _ wind great it _ came from _ the _ other_ side_ of the _ wilderness and _ it _ touched (in) _ the_ four the _ corners_ of the _ house and _ it _ fell on the _ youths and _ they _ died and _ I _ have _ escaped only I I _ alone to _ announce to/for _ you(fs) .
20 And _ ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) _ he/it _ rose_ up and _ he _ tore DOM robe _ of_ his and _ he _ shaved DOM his/its _ head and _ he _ fell towards _ land and _ he _ bowed_ down .
21 And _ he/it _ said naked I _ came_ out[fn ] from _ the _ womb_ of my _ mother_ of_ of and _ naked I _ will_ return to _ there [fn ] YHWH he _ gave and _ YHWH he _ has_ taken may _ it_ be the _ name_ of YHWH blessed .
22 In _ all this not ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) he _ sinned and _ not he _ ascribed offensiveness to _ god .
