2 And_they_were_born to_him/it seven sons and_three daughters.
3 livestock_of_his And_he/it_was seven_of thousand(s)_of sheep and_three_of thousand(s)_of camels and_five hundred(s) pair[s]_of ox[en] and_five hundred(s) female_donkeys and_service much very and_he/it_was the_man (the)_that great from_all the_people_of the_east.
4 sons_of_his And_they_went and_they_made a_feast the_house_of each_one day_of_his and_they_sent and_they_invited (to)_the_three_of sisters_of_their[fn] to_eat and_to_drink with_them.
5 And_he/it_was if/because the_days_of they_had_gone_round of_the_feast and_ ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) _he_sent and_he_sanctified_them and_he_rose_early in_morning and_he_offered_up burnt_offerings the_number_of all_of_them_of_of if/because ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) he_said perhaps they_have_sinned children_of_my and_they_have_blessed god in_their_of_heart thus ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) he_did all_of the_days.
6 and_he/it_was the_day and_ the_sons_of _they_came the_ʼElohīm to_present_themselves on YHWH and_he_came also the_adversary among_them.
7 And_ YHWH _he/it_said to the_adversary from_where are_you_coming and_he_answered the_adversary DOM YHWH and_he_said from_going_about on_the_earth and_from_going_about on_it.
8 And_ YHWH _he/it_said to the_adversary have_you_set heart_of_your on servant_of_my ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) if/because there_is_not like_him on_the_earth a_man blameless and_upright fearing_of (of)_god and_who_turns_aside from_evil.
9 And_he_answered the_adversary DOM YHWH and_he_said in_vain has_he_feared ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) god.
10 Not you[fn] have_you_put_a_hedge behind_him and_behind house_of_his and_behind all_of that to_him/it from_round_about the_work_of his_hands_of_of you_have_blessed and_his_of_livestock it_has_spread_out on_the_earth.
11 And_but stretch_out please hand_of_your and_touch in_all that to_him/it if not on face_of_your he_will_bless_you.
12 And_ YHWH _he/it_said to the_adversary there all_of that to_him/it is_in_your_of_hand only to_him/it do_not stretch_out hand_of_your and_he/it_went_out the_adversary from_with the_presence_of YHWH.
13 And_he/it_was the_day and_his_of_sons and_his_of_daughters were_eating and_drinking wine in_house_of their_brother_of_of the_firstborn.
14 And_a_messenger he_came to ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) and_he_said the_ox[en] they_were plowing and_the_female_donkeys were_grazing on hands_of_their.
15 And_ Sabean[s] _it_fell and_it_took_them and_DOM the_servants they_struck_down to_the_mouth_of the_sword and_I_have_escaped only I I_alone to_announce to/for_you(fs).
16 Still this_one was_speaking and_this he_came and_he_said the_fire_of god it_fell from the_heavens and_it_burnt (on)_sheep and_(on)_servants and_it_consumed_them and_I_have_escaped only I I_alone to_announce to/for_you(fs).
17 Still this_one was_speaking and_this he_came and_he_said the_ones_from_Kasdiy they_formed three companies and_they_made_a_raid on the_camels and_they_took_them and_DOM the_servants they_struck_down to_the_mouth_of the_sword and_I_have_escaped only I I_alone to_announce to/for_you(fs).
18 Until this_one was_speaking and_this he_came and_he_said sons_of_your and_your(pl)_of_daughters were_eating and_drinking wine in_house_of their_brother_of_of the_firstborn.
19 And_see/lo/see a_wind great it_came from_the_other_side_of the_wilderness and_it_touched (in)_the_four the_corners_of the_house and_it_fell on the_youths and_they_died and_I_have_escaped only I I_alone to_announce to/for_you(fs).
20 And_ ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) _he/it_rose_up and_he_tore DOM robe_of_his and_he_shaved DOM his/its_head and_he_fell towards_land and_he_bowed_down.
21 And_he/it_said naked I_came_out[fn] from_the_womb_of my_mother_of_of and_naked I_will_return to_there[fn] YHWH he_gave and_YHWH he_has_taken may_it_be the_name_of YHWH blessed.
22 In_all this not ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) he_sinned and_not he_ascribed offensiveness to_god.
2 and_he/it_was the_day and_ the_sons_of _they_came the_ʼElohīm to_present_themselves on YHWH and_he_came also the_adversary among_them to_present_himself on YHWH.
2 And_ YHWH _he/it_said to the_adversary where from_this are_you_coming and_he_answered the_adversary DOM YHWH and_he_said from_going_about on_the_earth and_from_going_about on_it.
3 And_ YHWH _he/it_said to the_adversary have_you_set heart_of_your to servant_of_my ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) if/because there_is_not like_him on_the_earth a_man blameless and_upright fearing_of (of)_god and_who_turns_aside from_evil and_still_he is_keeping_hold on_his_of_integrity and_you_incited_me in_him/it to_ruin_him without_cause.
4 And_he_answered the_adversary DOM YHWH and_he_said skin for skin and_all/each/any/every that belongs_to_man he_will_give for life_of_his.
5 But stretch_out please hand_of_your and_touch (to) bone_of_his and_near/to flesh_of_his if not to face_of_your he_will_bless_you.
6 And_ YHWH _he/it_said to the_adversary there_he is_in_your_of_hand nevertheless DOM life_of_his preserve.
7 And_he/it_went_out the_adversary from_with the_presence_of YHWH and_he_struck DOM ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) with_boil[s] bad from_the_sole_of his_foot_of_of wwww[fn] of_his_head_of_the_crown.
8 And_he/it_took to_him/it a_potsherd to_scrape_himself in/on/over_him/it and_he was_sitting in_the_middle the_ash[es].
9 And_she/it_said to_him/it his/its_wife/woman are_you_still keeping_hold on_your_of_integrity bless god and_die.
10 And_he/it_said to_her/it as_speaks one of_the_foolish_women you_are_speaking also DOM the_good will_we_accept from_with the_ʼElohīm and_DOM the_evil not will_we_accept in_all this not ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) he_sinned with_his_of_lips.
11 and_they_heard the_three_of the_friends_of ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) DOM all_of the_evil (the)_this which_it_had_come on/upon/above_him/it and_they_came each_one from_his_own_of_place ʼElīfaz the_Tēymānī and_Bildad the_Shuhite and_Zophar the_Naamathite and_they_met_by_appointment together to_come to_show_sympathy to_him/it and_to_comfort_him.
12 And_they_lifted_up DOM eyes_of_their from_a_distance and_not they_recognized_him and_they_lifted_up voice_of_their and_they_wept and_they_tore each_one robe_of_his and_they_sprinkled dust on heads_of_their towards_the_heavens.
13 And_they_lived with_him/it to_ground seven_of days and_seven_of nights and_there_was_not one_who_spoke to_him/it a_message if/because they_saw if/because_that it_was_great the_pain exceedingly.
3 After thus ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) he_opened DOM mouth_of_his and_he_cursed DOM day_of_his.
2 and_ ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) _he_answered and_he_said.
3 the_day Let_it_perish[fn] which_I_was_born in/on/over_him/it and_the_night which_it_said a_man he_has_been_conceived.
4 The_day (the)_that let_it_be darkness not let_him_care_for_it god (from)_above and_not let_it_shine_forth on/upon/above_him/it daylight.
5 Let_them_reclaim_it darkness and_deep_darkness let_it_settle_down on/upon/above_him/it cloud let_them_terrify_it the_darkness(es)_of day.
6 The_night (the)_that let_it_take_it gloom not let_it_rejoice among_the_days_of the_year in_the_number_of the_months not let_it_come.
7 There the_night (the)_that let_it_be barren not let_it_come a_cry_of_joy in_him/it.
8 Let_them_curse_it those_who_curse_of (of)_a_day the_ones_ready to_rouse Leviathan.
9 the_stars_of Let_them_grow_dark its_twilight_of_of let_it_wait for_light and_there_was_not and_not let_it_look on_the_eyelids_of dawn.
10 If/because not it_shut the_doors_of my_womb_of_of and_it_hid trouble from_my_of_eyes.
11 To/for_what not from_the_womb did_I_die from_the_belly I_came_forth and_did_I_expire.
12 Why did_they_receive_me knees and_why two_breasts (cmp) I_will_suck.

14 With kings and_counsellors_of the_earth those_who_rebuilt ruins for_themselves.
15 Or with princes whom_gold to/for_them those_who_filled houses_of_their silver.
16 Or[fn] like_a_miscarriage hidden not was_I like_children who_not they_have_seen light.
17 There wicked_people turmoil they_cease and_there they_rest those_weary_of strength.
18 Together prisoners they_are_at_ease not they_hear the_voice_of a_taskmaster.
19 Small and_great is_there he and_a_slave is_free from_his_of_master(s).
20 To/for_what does_someone_give to_a_sufferer light and_life to_people_bitter_of soul.
21 those_who_wait for_death and_not_existing_he and_they_dug_for_it more_than_hidden_treasures.
22 The_joyful_people to rejoicing who_they_exult if/because they_find the_grave.
23 To_a_man whom its_road/course it_is_hidden and_he_has_made_inaccessible god behind_him.
24 If/because to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before food_of_my groaning_of_my it_comes and_they_poured_forth like_water of_distress_of_my_cries.
25 If/because a_fear I_feared and_it_came_to_me and_which I_was_afraid_of it_came to_me.
26 Not I_am_at_ease and_not I_am_at_peace and_not I_am_at_rest and_ turmoil _it_has_come.
4 and_ ʼElīfaz _he_answered the_Tēymānī and_he_said.
2 Did_someone_attempt a_message to_you will_you_be_impatient and_to_restrain (in)_words/messages who is_he_able.
3 There you_have_instructed many_people and_hands slack you_strengthened.
4 one_who_stumbled[fn] they_raised words/messages_of_your and_knees bending you_strengthened.
5 If/because now it_comes to_you and_you_have_become_impatient it_reaches to_you and_you_have_become_dismayed.
6 Not fear_of_is_your confidence_of_your hope_of_your and_the_integrity_of your(pl)_ways_of_of.
7 Remember please who that innocent did_he_perish and_where upright_people were_they_destroyed.
8 Just_as I_have_seen those_who_plow_of (of)_wickedness and_those_who_sow_of (of)_mischief they_harvest_it.
9 From_the_breath_of god they_perish and_from_the_breath_of his_anger_of_of they_come_to_an_end.
10 the_roaring_of a_lion and_the_sound_of a_lion and_the_teeth_of young_lions they_are_broken_out.
11 A_lion is_perishing from_not_of prey and_the_sons a_lion they_are_scattered.
12 And_to_me a_message it_was_brought_secretly ear_of_my and_she/it_took a_whisper of_it.
13 In_disquieting_thoughts from_visions_of the_night when_falls deep_sleep on people.
14 Fear it_happened_to_me and_trembling and_the_multitude_of my_bones_of_of it_caused_to_tremble.
15 And_spirit over face_of_my it_passed_over the_hair_of it_made_bristle_up my_flesh_of_of.
16 It_stood_still and_not I_recognized appearance_of_its a_form was_to_before eyes_of_my a_whisper and_a_voice I_heard.
17 A_person from_god will_he_be_righteous or from_his_of_maker will_he_be_pure a_man.
18 There in_his_of_servants not he_trusts and_against_his_of_messengers he_charges error.
19 Also those_who_dwell_of houses_of clay who is_in_dust foundation_of_their people_crush_them to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before a_moth.
20 From_morning to_evening they_are_crushed_to_pieces from_not_of one_who_sets to_perpetuity they_perish.
21 Not has_it_been_pulled_up tent-cord_of_their in_them will_they_die and_not with_wisdom.
5 Call please is_there one_of_who_answers_you and_near/to whom of_the_holy_ones will_you_turn.
2 If/because (to)_a_fool it_slays vexation and_a_simple_person jealousy it_kills.
3 I I_have_seen a_fool taking_root and_I_cursed habitation_of_his suddenly.
4 children_of_his They_are_distant from_safety and_they_are_crushed in_gate and_there_is_not a_deliverer.
5 Who harvest_of_his the_hungry he_eats and_to from_thorns he_takes_it and_it_pants_for a_snare wealth_of_their.
6 If/because not it_comes_forth from_the_dust hardship and_from_the_ground not trouble it_springs_up.
7 If/because everyone to_trouble he_is_born and_the_sons flame they_make_high to_fly.
8 But I I_will_seek (to) god and_near/to god I_will_set plea_of_my.
9 who_does great_things and_there_is_not searching wonders until there_is_not number.
10 (the)_who_gives rain on the_surface_of the_earth and_who_sends water on the_surface_of the_open_places.
11 To_set lowly_people to_a_high_place and_mourners they_are_high safety.
12 who_frustrates the_plans_of crafty_people and_not hands_of_their they_will_bring_about success.
13 who_catches wise_people when_they_are_crafty and_the_counsel_of tortuous_ones it_is_hasty.
14 By_day they_meet darkness and_like_night they_grope at_noon(s).
15 And_he_saved from_the_sword from_their_of_mouth and_from_the_hand_of the_strong the_needy.
16 And_it_became to_(the)_person hope and_injustice it_shuts her/its_mouth.
17 There how_blessed is_the_person whom_he_reproves_him god and_the_discipline_of the_almighty do_not reject.
18 If/because he he_causes_pain and_he_binds_up he_smashes and_his_of_hands[fn] they_heal.
19 In_six troubles he_will_deliver_you and_in_seven not it_will_touch (in)_you harm.
20 In_famine he_will_ransom_you from_death and_in_battle from_the_hands_of the_sword.
21 In_the_whip_of the_tongue you_will_be_hidden and_not you_will_be_afraid from_destruction if/because it_will_come.
22 To_destruction and_to_famine you_will_laugh and_from_the_animal[s]_of the_earth/land do_not be_afraid.
23 If/because will_be_with the_stones_of the_field covenant_of_your and_the_animal[s]_of the_field it_will_be_at_peace to/for_you(fs).
24 And_you_will_know if/because_that is_safety tent_of_your and_you_will_visit estate_of_your and_not you_will_miss.
25 And_you_will_know if/because_that will_be_many offspring_of_your and_your(pl)_of_descendants will_be_like_the_vegetation_of the_earth/land.
26 You_will_go in_full_strength to the_grave as_goes_up a_stack_of_sheaves at_its_appropriate_of_time.
27 Here this we_have_examined_it is_so it hear_it and_you(ms) know to/for_you(fs).
6 and_ ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) _he_answered and_he_said.
2 If actually_(weigh) it_will_be_weighed grief_of_my and_my_of_destruction[fn] in_the_balances people_will_raise together.
3 If/because now more_than_the_sand_of the_seas it_will_be_heavy therefore yes/correct/thus/so words/messages_of_my they_have_been_rash.
4 If/because the_arrows_of the_almighty with_me which poison_of_their is_drinking my_breath/wind/spirit the_terrors_of god they_are_arranged_against_me.
5 Does_it_bray a_wild_donkey on fresh_grass or does_it_low an_ox on fodder_of_its.
6 Is_it_eaten tasteless_food from_not_of salt or is_there taste in_the_slime_of purslane.
7 It_refuses to_touch_them self_of_my they are_like_the_illness_of my_food_of_of.
8 Who will_he_give it_will_come petition_of_my and_my_of_hope he_will_give god.
9 And_ god _may_he_be_willing and_may_he_crush_me may_he_untie/release his/its_hand and_may_he_cut_me_off.

5 If you you_will_seek_earnestly (to) god and_near/to the_almighty you_will_seek_favour.
6 If are_pure and_upright you if/because now he_will_awake on_you and_he_will_restore the_abode_of your_righteousness_of_of.
