2 Hear Oh _ wise_ [men]words _ my and _ know give _ earto _ me .
3 DOM [the] _ earwords it _ testsand _ palate it _ tastesto _ food .
4 Justice let _ us_ chooseto/for _ ourselves let _ us_ recognizeamong _ ourselves what [is] _ good5 DOM he _ has_ saidʼIyyōⱱ I _ am_ righteousand _ god he _ has_ taken_ awayjustice _ my .
6 On right _ my will _ I_ lie[is] _ incurablewound _ my not transgression .
7 Who [is] _ a_ manlike _ ʼIyyōⱱ he _ drinksmockery like _ the_ water .
8 And _ goes in _ company with [those _ who]_ do(of) _ eviland _ to _ walks with people of _ wickedness9 DOM he _ has_ saidnot it _ is_ of_ use_ toa _ manin/on/at/with _ take _ delight_ he with god .
10 For _ so/thus/hence Oh _ people[fn ] of _ heartlisten to _ me far _ be_ itfrom _ THE_ god to _ wickedness and _ almighty from _ wrong .
11 DOM [the] _ workof _ a_ personhe _ will_ repayto _ him/it and _ according _ to_ conduct of _ a_ personbefall _ him .
12 Also truly god not he _ acts_ wickedlyand _ almighty not he _ pervertsjustice .
13 Who did _ he_ assignon/upon/above _ him/it earth _ over and _ who did _ he_ put[the] _ worldwhole _ him .
14 If he _ will_ setto _ him/it his/its _ heart his/its _ breath/wind/spirit and _ breath _ his to _ him/it he _ will_ gather15 It _ will_ expireall flesh together and _ human/ʼĀdām to dust it _ will_ return16 And _ if understanding hear this listen to _ sound/voice what _ say_ I .
17 Really [one _ who]_ hatesjustice will _ he_ governand _ if [the] _ righteous_ [one][the] _ mighty_ [one]will _ you_ condemn_ as_ guilty18 Says to _ king worthless _ personwicked _ [one]to noble _ [people]19 Who not he _ lifts_ up[the] _ facesof _ princesand _ not he _ regardsa _ noble_ person[fn ] to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforea _ poor_ [person]DOM [are _ the]_ workhands _ his all _ they .
20 A _ momentthey _ dieand _ middle of _ [the]_ nightthey _ are_ shakena _ peopleand _ pass _ awayand _ taken _ away[the] _ mightynot in/on/at/with _ human _ hand21 DOM eyes _ his [are] _ onthe _ waysof _ everyoneand _ all steps _ his he _ sees22 There _ [is]_ notdarkness [fn ] and _ no deep _ darknessto _ hide there [those _ who]_ do(of) _ wickedness23 DOM not on a _ personhe _ will_ appointagain to _ go to god in/on/at/with _ judgment .
24 He _ breaksmighty _ [ones]not searching and _ sets others in _ place_ their .
25 For _ so/thus/hence he _ is_ acquainted_ withworks _ their and _ overthrows night and _ crushed .
26 In _ place_ ofwicked _ [people]strikes _ them in/on/at/with _ place of _ [those_ who]_ see27 That on/upon/above/on _ account_ of//he/it_ went_ inyes/correct/thus/so they _ turned_ asidefrom _ following _ him and _ all ways _ his not they _ considered28 To _ bring on/upon/above _ him/it [the] _ outcryof _ [the]_ poorand _ cry of _ afflicted_ [people]he _ heard29 And _ he he _ will_ keep_ quietand _ who will _ he_ condemn_ [him]_ as_ guiltyand _ hides face and _ who see _ him and _ over a _ nationand _ over a _ personalike .
30 So _ that_ not_ reign a _ persongodless nor _ ensnare of _ a_ people31 DOM to god said I _ have_ bornenot I _ will_ act_ corruptly32 Apart _ from[that _ which]_ I_ seeyou teach _ me if unrighteousness I _ have_ donenot I _ will_ repeat33 The _ from _ with _ your repay _ her DOM you _ have_ rejectedDOM you you _ will_ chooseand _ not I and _ what do _ you_ knowspeak .
34 People of _ heartthey _ will_ sayto _ me and _ man wise [who] _ listensto _ me .
35 ʼIyyōⱱ not in/on/at/with _ knowledge he _ speaksand _ words _ his not in/on/at/with _ insight .
36 Would _ thathe _ will_ be_ testedʼIyyōⱱ until perpetuity on answers in/on/at/with _ men of _ wickedness37 DOM he _ addsto sin _ his transgression among _ us he _ clapsand _ multiplies words _ his against _ THE_ god .
