2 And having _ come_ in again into Kafarnaʼoum through days , it _ was_ heard that he _ is in the _ house .
2 And many were _ gathered_ together so _ that no _ longer to _ be_ having_ room , not even which at the door , and he _ was_ speaking the message to _ them .
3 And they _ are_ coming bringing a _ paralytic to him , being _ carried by four .
4 And not being _ able to _ bring to _ him because _ of the crowd , they _ unroofed the roof where he _ was , and having _ dug_ it _ out , they _ are_ lowering the pallet where the paralytic was _ lying .
5 And the Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) having _ seen the faith of _ them , he _ is_ saying to _ the paralytic :
Child , the sins of _ you have _ been_ forgiven .
6 But some of _ the scribes were there , sitting and reasoning in the hearts of _ them , 7 Why is _ this man _ speaking thus ?
He _ is_ slandering .
Who is _ able to _ be_ forgiving sins , except not/lest one , the god ?
8 And the Yaʸsous immediately having _ known in _ the spirit of _ him that they _ are_ reasoning thus in themselves , he _ is_ saying to _ them :
Why these you _ all_ are_ reasoning in the hearts of _ you_ all ?
9 Which is easier , to _ say to _ the paralytic :
The sins have _ been_ forgiven to _ you .
or to _ say :
Be _ raising and take _ up the pallet of _ you and be _ walking ?
10 But in _ order_ that you _ all_ may_ have_ known that the son of _ the _ man is _ having authority on the earth to _ be_ forgiving sins , (he _ is_ saying to _ the paralytic ), 11 To _ you I _ am_ saying , be _ raising , take _ up the pallet of _ you , and be _ going to the home of _ you .
12 And he _ was_ raised , and immediately having _ taken_ up the pallet , he _ came_ out before all so _ as all to _ be_ marvelling and to _ be_ glorifying the god saying , that We _ never _ saw thus .
13 And he _ came_ out again beside the sea , and all the crowd was _ coming to him , and he _ was_ teaching them .
14 And passing _ by , he _ saw Leui/(Lēvī) the son of _ the _ Alfaios sitting at the tax _ office , and is _ saying to _ him :
Be _ following after _ me .
And having _ risen_ up , he _ followed after _ him .
15 And is _ becoming him to _ be_ reclining in the house of _ him , and many tax _ collectors and sinners were _ reclining the with _ Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) and the apprentices/followers of _ him , because/for they _ were many and they _ were_ following after _ him .
16 And the scribes of _ the Farisaios _ party , having _ seen that he _ is_ eating with the sinners and the tax _ collectors , they _ were_ saying to _ the apprentices/followers of _ him , that he _ is_ eating with the tax _ collectors and sinners ?
17 And having _ heard , the Yaʸsous is _ saying to _ them :
The being _ strong are _ not _ having need of _ a _ doctor , but the being sickly .
I _ came not to _ call the _ righteous , but sinners .
18 And the apprentices/followers of _ Yōannaʸs and the Farisaios _ party were fasting .
And they _ are_ coming and they _ are_ saying to _ him :
For/Because _ why _ reason the apprentices/followers of _ Yōannaʸs and the apprentices/followers of _ the Farisaios _ party are _ fasting , but the your apprentices/followers are _ not _ fasting ?
19 And the Yaʸsous said to _ them :
The sons of _ the bridal _ chamber in which the bridegroom is with them are _ not _ being_ able to _ be_ fasting ?
As _ long_ as time they _ are_ having the bridegroom with them , are _ not _ being_ able to _ be_ fasting .
20 But days will _ be_ coming whenever the bridegroom may _ be_ taken_ away from them , and then they _ will_ be_ fasting in that the day .
21 No _ one is _ sewing_ on a _ patch of _ unshrunken _ cloth on a _ old _ garment , and if not the patch is _ tearing_ away from it , the new from _ the old , and is _ becoming a _ worse tear .
22 And no _ one is _ putting new wine into old wineskins , and if not the wine will _ be_ bursting the wineskins , and the wine and the wineskins is _ being_ destroyed .
But new wine is placeable into new wineskins .
23 And it _ became him on the days _ of_ rest to _ be_ passing_ through through the grainfields , and the apprentices/followers of _ him began to _ be_ making way , plucking the heads _ of_ grain .
24 And the Farisaios _ party were _ saying to _ him :
Behold , why they _ are_ doing on _ the days _ of_ rest what it _ is_ not _ permitting ?
25 And he _ is_ saying to _ them :
You _ all_ never _ read what Dawid/(Dāvid) did , when he _ had need and he and the with him hungered ?
26 How he _ came_ in into the house of _ the _ god during Abiathar/(ʼEⱱyātār) the _ chief_ priest , and ate the bread of _ the presence , which it _ is_ not _ permitting to _ eat except not/lest the priests , and he _ gave even to _ the being with him ?
, 27 And he _ was_ saying to _ them :
The day _ of_ rest became because _ of the person , and not the person because _ of the day _ of_ rest .
28 So _ then the son of _ the _ man is master also of _ the day _ of_ rest .
