2 And having _come _in again into Kafarnaʼoum through days, it _was _heard that he _is in the_house.
2 And many were _gathered _together so _that no _longer to _be _having _room, not even which at the door, and he _was _speaking the message to _them.
3 And they _are _coming bringing a_paralytic to him, being _carried by four.
4 And not being _able to _bring to _him because _of the crowd, they _unroofed the roof where he _was, and having _dug_ it _out, they _are _lowering the pallet where the paralytic was _lying.
5 And the Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) having _seen the faith of _them, he _is _saying to _the paralytic:
Child, the sins of _you have _been _forgiven.
6 But some of _the scribes were there, sitting and reasoning in the hearts of _them, 7 Why is_ this man _speaking thus?
He _is _slandering.
Who is _able to _be _forgiving sins, except not/lest one, the god?
8 And the Yaʸsous immediately having _known in _the spirit of _him that they _are _reasoning thus in themselves, he _is _saying to _them:
Why these things you _all _are _reasoning in the hearts of _you _all?
9 Which is easier, to _say to _the paralytic:
The sins have _been _forgiven to _you.
or to _say:
Be _raising and take _up the pallet of _you and be _walking?
10 But in _order _that you _all _may _have _known that the son of_ the _man is _having authority on the earth to _be _forgiving sins, (he _is _saying to _the paralytic), 11 To _you I _am _saying, be _raising, take _up the pallet of _you, and be _going to the home of _you.
12 And he _was _raised, and immediately having _taken _up the pallet, he _came _out before all so _as all to _be _marvelling and to _be _glorifying the god saying, that We_ never _saw thus.
13 And he _came _out again beside the sea, and all the crowd was _coming to him, and he _was _teaching them.
14 And passing _by, he _saw Leui/(Lēvī) the son of_ the _Alfaios sitting at the tax _office, and is _saying to _him:
Be _following after _me.
And having _risen _up, he _followed after _him.
15 And is _becoming him to _be _reclining in the house of _him, and many tax _collectors and sinners were _reclining the with_Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) and the apprentices/followers of _him, because/for they _were many and they _were _following after _him.
16 And the scribes of _the Farisaios_party, having _seen that he _is _eating with the sinners and the tax _collectors, they _were _saying to _the apprentices/followers of _him, that he _is _eating with the tax _collectors and sinners?
17 And having _heard, the Yaʸsous is _saying to _them:
The ones being _strong are_ not _having need of_a_doctor, but the ones being sickly.
I _came not to _call the_righteous, but sinners.
18 And the apprentices/followers of _Yōannaʸs and the Farisaios_party were fasting.
And they _are _coming and they _are _saying to _him:
For/Because_ why _reason the apprentices/followers of _Yōannaʸs and the apprentices/followers of _the Farisaios_party are _fasting, but the your apprentices/followers are_ not _fasting?
19 And the Yaʸsous said to _them:
The sons of _the bridal _chamber in which the bridegroom is with them are_ not _being _able to _be _fasting?
As _long _as time they _are _having the bridegroom with them, are_ not _being _able to _be _fasting.
20 But days will _be _coming whenever the bridegroom may _be _taken _away from them, and then they _will _be _fasting in that the day.
21 No _one is _sewing _on a_patch of_ unshrunken _cloth on a_ old _garment, and if not the patch is _tearing _away from it, the new from _the old, and is _becoming a_worse tear.
22 And no _one is _putting new wine into old wineskins, and if not the wine will _be _bursting the wineskins, and the wine and the wineskins is _being _destroyed.
But new wine is placeable into new wineskins.
23 And it _became him on the days _of _rest to _be _passing _through through the grainfields, and the apprentices/followers of _him began to _be _making way, plucking the heads _of _grain.
24 And the Farisaios_party were _saying to _him:
Behold, why they _are _doing on _the days _of _rest what it _is_ not _permitting?
25 And he _is _saying to _them:
You _all_ never _read what Dawid/(Dāvid) did, when he _had need and he and the ones with him hungered?
26 How he _came _in into the house of_ the _god during Abiathar/(ʼEⱱyātār) the_chief _priest, and ate the bread of _the presence, which it _is_ not _permitting to _eat except not/lest the priests, and he _gave even to _the ones being with him?
, 27 And he _was _saying to _them:
The day _of _rest became because _of the person, and not the person because _of the day _of _rest.
28 So _then the son of_ the _man is master also of _the day _of _rest.
