8 woe_to those_who_make_touch_of (of)_a_house (in)_a_house a_field on_a_field they_bring_near until there_not_of is_room and_you(pl)_are_made_to_dwell you_alone in_the_midst_of the_earth/land.
9 In_ears_of_my YHWH soldiers/messengers if not houses many (into)_a_waste they_will_become great_houses and_good_houses will_be_from_not an_inhabitant.
10 If/because ten_of acres_of vineyard they_will_produce a_bath one and_seed_of a_homer it_will_produce an_ʼēyfāh.
11 woe_to those_who_rise_early_of in_morning strong_drink they_pursue those_who_delay_of in_twilight wine it_inflames_them.
12 And_ harp _it_was and_lyre tambourine and_flute and_wine their_drinking/feast and_DOM the_deed[s]_of YHWH not they_pay_attention_to and_the_work_of his_hands_of_his not they_see.
13 For_so/thus/hence people_of_my it_will_go_into_exile from_not_of knowledge and_honour_of_its will_be_men_of hunger and_multitude_of_its will_be_parched_of thirst.
14 For_so/thus/hence Shəʼōl it_will_enlarge throat_of_its and_it_will_open_wide mouth_of_its to_not limit splendour_of_its and_it_will_go_down and_multitude_of_its and_uproar_of_its and_one_exulting in_it.
15 And_ everyone _he_has_been_humbled and_he_has_become_low everyone and_the_eyes_of proud_people they_will_become_low.
16 And_he_was_exalted[fn] YHWH soldiers/messengers by_judgement and_(the)_god (the)_holy will_show_himself_holy by_righteousness.
17 And_ lambs _they_will_graze like_their_own_of_pasture and_the_ruins_of fatlings those_who_sojourn they_will_eat.
18 Woe_to those_who_draw_along_of (of)_the_iniquity with_(the)_cords_of (the)_emptiness and_like_the_rope_of (the)_cart sin.
19 those_who_say let_it_hurry let_it_make_haste work_of_his so_that we_may_see and_let_it_draw_near and_let_it_come the_plan_of the_holy_one_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) so_that_we_may_know.
20 woe_to those_who_say of_evil good and_of_good evil those_who_make darkness into_light and_light into_darkness those_who_make bitter into_sweet and_sweet into_bitter.
21 woe_to people_wise in_their_own_of_eyes and_before faces_of_their_own people_discerning.
22 Woe_to men_mighty for_drinking wine and_people_of ability for_mixing strong_drink.
23 those_who_justify_of (of)_a_wicked_person the_consequence_of a_bribe and_the_righteousness_of righteous_people they_take_away from_him.
24 for_so/thus/hence as_consumes stubble a_tongue_of fire and_dry_grass a_flame it_sinks_down root_of_their like_rottenness it_will_be and_blossom_of_their like_dust it_will_go_up if/because they_have_rejected DOM the_law_of YHWH soldiers/messengers and_DOM the_message_of the_holy_one_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) they_have_spurned.
25 Therefore yes/correct/thus/so it_has_burnt the_anger of_YHWH on_people_of_his and_he_has_stretched_out his/its_hand on/upon/above_him/it and_he_has_struck_it and_they_have_quaked the_mountains corpse_of_their and_it_became like_offal in_the_middle_of the_streets in_all this not it_has_turned_back anger_of_his and_still his/its_hand is_stretched_out.

27 There_is_not a_weary_one and_there_is_not one_who_stumbles in/on/over_him/it not anyone_will_slumber and_not anyone_will_sleep and_not the_loincloth_of it_has_been_opened its_loins_of_his and_not a_thong_of it_has_been_torn_apart its_sandals_of_his.
28 Which arrows_of_its are_sharpened and_all bows_of_its are_bent the_hooves_of its_horses_of_his like_flint they_are_regarded and_wheels_of_its like_storm-wind.
