37 and _ he/it _ was when _ heard the _ king Ḩizqiyyāh and _ tore DOM clothes _ his and _ covered in/on/at/with _ sackcloth and _ went _ into the _ house of _ YHWH .
2 And _ sent DOM ʼElyāqīm who [was] _ over the _ palace and _ DOM Shebna the _ secretary and _ DOM the _ elders the _ priests covered in/on/at/with _ sackcloth to Yə shaˊyāh /(Isaiah) the _ son of _ Amoz the _ prophet .
3 And _ they _ said to _ him/it thus he _ says Ḩizqiyyāh [is] _ a_ day of _ distress and _ rebuke and _ disgrace the _ day the _ this if/because they _ have_ come children to [the] _ mouth_ of_ [the]_ womb and _ strength there _ [is]_ not to _ deliver .
4 Perhaps he _ will_ hear YHWH god _ your DOM [the] _ words of _ [the]_ Rab- shaqeh whom sent _ him the _ king of _ Assyria master _ his to _ mock [the] _ god living and _ rebuke in/on/at/with _ words which he _ has_ heard YHWH god _ your and _ lift _ up prayer for the _ remnant the _ left .
5 And _ they _ came the _ servants the _ king Ḩizqiyyāh to Yə shaˊyāh .
6 And _ he/it _ said to _ them Yə shaˊyāh thus say to master _ your _ all’s thus he _ says YHWH do _ not be _ afraid from _ face/in _ front_ of the _ words which you _ have_ heard which they _ have_ blasphemed the _ servants of _ the_ king of _ Assyria DOM _ me .
7 Behold _ I [am] _ about_ to_ put in/on/over _ him/it a _ spirit and _ hear a _ report and _ return to land _ his _ own and _ fall _ him in/on/at/with _ sword in/on/at/with _ land _ his _ own .
8 And _ returned [the] _ Rab- shaqeh and _ found DOM the _ king of _ Assyria fighting on Liⱱnāh if/because he _ had_ heard if/because _ that he _ had_ set_ out of _ Lākīsh .
9 And _ he/it _ listened on Tirhakah the _ king of _ Cush to _ say he _ has_ come_ out to _ fight against _ you and _ he/it _ listened and _ sent messengers to Ḩizqiyyāh to _ say .
10 Thus say to Ḩizqiyyāh the _ king of _ Yə hūdāh/(Judah) to _ say not deceive _ you god _ your whom you [are] _ trusting in/on/over _ him/it to _ say not it _ will_ be_ given Yə rūshālayim/(Jerusalem) in/on/at/with _ hand of _ the_ king of _ Assyria .
11 Here you you _ have_ heard [that] _ which they _ have_ done the _ kings of _ Assyria to/from _ all/each/any/every the _ lands to _ destroying _ completely_ them and _ you(ms) will _ you_ be_ delivered .
12 The _ deliver DOM _ them the _ gods the _ nations which they _ destroyed predecessors _ my DOM Gozan and _ DOM Ḩārān and _ Rezeph and _ the _ sons of _ ˊĒden who in/on/at/with _ Telassar .
13 Where [is] _ the_ king of _ Ḩₐmāt and _ king of _ Arpad and _ king of _ Lair Sepharvaim Hena and _ Ivvah .
14 And _ he/it _ took Ḩizqiyyāh DOM the _ letter from _ hand the _ messengers and _ read _ it and _ he/it _ ascended the _ house of _ YHWH and _ spread _ out_ it Ḩizqiyyāh to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/before YHWH .
15 And _ prayed Ḩizqiyyāh to YHWH to _ say .
16 Oh _ YHWH of _ hosts the _ god of _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) [who] _ sits the _ cherubims you he the _ ʼElohīm by _ yourself _ you to _ all/each/any/every the _ kingdoms the _ earth/land you you _ made DOM the _ heavens and _ DOM the _ earth/land .
17 Incline Oh _ YHWH ear _ your and _ hear open Oh _ YHWH eyes _ your and _ see and _ hear DOM all the _ words of _ Sennacherib which he _ has_ sent to _ mock [the] _ god living .
18 Truly Oh _ YHWH they _ have_ made_ desolate the _ kings of _ Assyria DOM all the _ countries and _ DOM lands _ their .
19 And _ thrown DOM gods _ their in/on/at/with _ fire if/because not [were] _ gods they if/because (if) [the] _ work of _ [the]_ hands of _ humankind wood and _ stone and _ destroyed _ them .
20 And _ now Oh _ YHWH god _ our save _ us from _ hand _ his [fn ] and _ know all the _ kingdoms the _ earth/land if/because _ that you [are] _ YHWH by _ yourself _ you .
21 And _ sent Yə shaˊyāh /(Isaiah) the _ son of _ Amoz to Ḩizqiyyāh to _ say thus he _ says YHWH the _ god of _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) that you _ have_ prayed to _ me concerning Sennacherib the _ king of _ Assyria .
22 This the _ word which he _ has_ spoken YHWH on/upon/above _ him/it she _ has_ despised to/for _ yourself(m) she _ has_ mocked to/for _ yourself(m) the _ virgin of _ the_ daughter of _ Tsiyyōn/(Zion) behind _ you a _ head she _ has_ shaken the _ daughter of _ Yə rūshālayim/(Jerusalem) .
23 DOM whom have _ you_ taunted and _ blasphemed and _ against whom have _ you_ raised a _ voice and _ lifted height eyes _ your against the _ holy_ [one] of _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
24 In/on/at/with _ hand your _ servants you _ have_ taunted my _ master and _ she/it _ said in/on/at/with _ many chariots _ my I I _ have_ gone_ up [the] _ height[s] of _ mountains the _ remotest_ parts of _ Lə ⱱānōn and _ cut _ down the _ height cedars _ its the _ choicest cypresses _ its and _ came the _ height height _ its the _ forest densest _ its .
25 I I _ have_ dug and _ drank water and _ dried _ up in/on/at/with _ sole feet _ my all the _ canals of _ Miʦrayim/(Egypt) .
26 Am _ not have _ you_ heard at _ from _ long _ time_ ago DOM _ it I _ appointed from _ days of _ antiquity and _ planned _ it now brought _ topass_ it and _ is to _ crushed heaps ruined cities fortified .
27 And _ inhabitants _ their [were] _ short of _ hand they _ were_ dismayed and _ ashamed they _ were vegetation of _ [the]_ field and _ tender of _ fresh_ grass grass of _ roofs and _ blighted to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/before standing _ grain .
28 And _ sitting _ down_ your and _ going _ out_ your and _ coming _ in_ your I _ know and _ DOM raging _ your against _ me .
29 Because raging _ you to _ me and _ arrogance _ your it _ has_ come_ up in/on/at/with _ ears _ my and _ put hook _ my in/on/at/with _ nose _ your and _ bit _ my in/on/at/with _ mouth _ your and _ turn _ back_ you in/on/at/with _ way which you _ came in/on/at/with _ her .
30 And _ this for _ you the _ sign you _ will_ eat the _ year self-sown _ grain and _ in/on/at/with _ year the _ second(fs) self-seeded _ plant[s] and _ in/on/at/with _ year the _ third sow and _ reap and _ plant vineyards and _ eat [fn ] fruit _ their .
31 And _ again the _ escaped_ remnant of _ the_ house of _ Yə hūdāh/(Judah) the _ surviving a _ root at _ downward and _ bear fruit at _ above .
32 If/because from _ Yə rūshālayim/(Jerusalem) it _ will_ go_ out a _ remnant and _ survivors from _ hill of _ Tsiyyōn/(Zion) the _ zeal of _ YHWH of _ hosts it _ will_ accomplish this .
33 for _ so/thus/hence thus he _ says YHWH concerning the _ king of _ Assyria not he _ will_ come into the _ city the _ this and _ not he _ will_ shoot there an _ arrow and _ not come _ before_ it a _ shield and _ not he _ will_ pour_ out against _ it [fn ] a _ mound .
34 In/on/at/with _ way which he _ came in/on/at/with _ her he _ will_ return and _ near/to the _ city the _ this not he _ will_ come the _ utterance of _ YHWH .
35 And _ defend (on) the _ city the _ this to _ save _ it for _ sake_ my and _ for _ the_ sake_ of Dāvid servant _ my .
36 and _ he/it _ went_ out the _ angel of _ YHWH and _ struck _ down in/on/at/with _ camp of _ Assyria one _ hundred and _ eighty and _ five thousand and _ got _ up in/on/at/with _ morning and _ see/lo/see all _ these [were] _ corpses dead .
37 And _ left and _ he/it _ went and _ returned Sennacherib the _ king of _ Assyria and _ he/it _ sat_ down//remained//lived in/on/at/with _ Nineveh .
38 And _ he/it _ was he [was] _ bowing_ down the _ house of _ Nisroch his/its _ god and _ Adrammelech and _ Sharezer sons _ his killed _ him in/on/at/with _ sword and _ they they _ escaped the _ land of _ Ararat and _ became _ king wwww wwww his/its _ son in _ place_ his .
