3 Oh_son_of humankind the_men the_these they_have_brought_up idols_of_their on heart_of_their and_the_stumbling_block_of their_iniquity_of_their they_have_set in_front_of faces_of_their indeed_(be_consulted) will_I_let_myself_be_consulted to/for_them.
4 for_so/thus/hence speak with_them and_you_will_say to_them thus he_says my_master YHWH a_person a_person from_the_house_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) who he_will_bring_up DOM idols_of_his to his/its_heart and_the_stumbling_block_of his_iniquity_of_his he_will_set in_front_of his/its_faces/face and_he_will_go to the_prophet I YHWH I_will_let_myself_give_an_answer to_him/it in/on/at/with[fn] by_the_multitude_of his_idols_of_his.
5 So_as to_seize DOM the_house_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) by_heart_of_their who they_have_become_estranged from_with_me by_idols_of_their of_them_of_all.
6 for_so/thus/hence say to the_house_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) thus my_master he_says YHWH turn_back and_turn_away from_under idols_of_your(pl) and_from_with all_of abominations_of_your(pl) turn_away faces_of_your(pl).
7 If/because a_person a_person from_the_house_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_from_the_sojourner who he_sojourns in_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_he_will_separate_himself from_after_me and_he_will_bring_up idols_of_his to his/its_heart and_the_stumbling_block_of his_iniquity_of_his he_will_set in_front_of his/its_faces/face and_he_will_go to the_prophet to_consult to_him/it (in)_me I YHWH will_let_myself_give_an_answer for_him/it by_myself.
8 And_I_will_set face_of_my on_person (the)_that and_I_will_make_him into_a_sign and_into_bywords and_I_will_cut_him_off from_among_of people_of_my and_you(pl)_will_know if/because_that I am_YHWH.
9 and_the_prophet if/because he_will_be_deceived and_he_will_speak a_message I YHWH I_have_deceived DOM the_prophet (the)_that and_I_will_stretch_out DOM hand_of_my on/upon/above_him/it and_I_will_destroy_him from_among_of people_of_my Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
10 And_they_will_bear iniquity_of_their as_the_iniquity_of the_one_who_enquires as_the_iniquity_of the_prophet it_will_be.
11 So_that not they_may_wander again the_house_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) from_after_me and_not they_will_make_themselves_unclean again in_all transgressions_of_their and_they_will_be to_me (into)_a_people and_I I_will_become to/for_them (into)_god the_utterance_of my_master YHWH.
12 and_ the_message_of _he/it_was of_YHWH to_me to_say.
13 Oh_son_of humankind a_land if/because it_will_sin to_me by_acting_unfaithfully unfaithfulness and_I_will_stretch_out hand_of_my on/upon_it(f) and_I_will_break to/for_her/it staff_of bread and_I_will_send on_it famine and_I_will_cut_off from_her/it humankind and_animal[s].
14 And_they_will_be the_three_of the_men the_these in_the_midst_of_of_it Noaḩ Dāniyyʼēl[fn][fn] and_ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) they by_righteousness_of_their they_will_deliver life_of_their_own the_utterance_of my_master YHWH.
15 If animal[s] wild I_will_cause_to_pass on_the_earth and_it_will_make_it_childless and_it_will_be a_desolation from_not_of one_who_passes_by from_face/in_front_of the_living.
16 The_three_of the_men the_these in_the_midst_of_of_it by_the_life of_me the_utterance_of my_master YHWH if sons and_if daughters they_will_deliver they they_alone they_will_be_delivered and_the_earth it_will_be a_desolation.
17 Or a_sword I_will_bring on the_earth/land (the)_that and_I_will_say a_sword let_it_pass on_the_earth and_I_will_cut_off from_her/it humankind and_animal[s].
18 And_the_three_of the_men the_these in_the_midst_of_of_it by_the_life of_me the_utterance_of my_master YHWH not they_will_deliver sons and_daughters if/because they they_alone they_will_be_delivered.
19 Or pestilence I_will_send against the_earth/land (the)_that and_I_will_pour_out rage_of_my on/upon_it(f) by_blood to_cut_off from_her/it humankind and_animal[s].
20 And_Noaḩ Dāniyyʼēl[fn][fn] and_ʼIyyōⱱ/(Job) in_the_midst_of_of_it by_the_life of_me the_utterance_of my_master YHWH if a_son if a_daughter they_will_deliver they by_righteousness_of_their they_will_deliver life_of_their_own.
21 if/because thus my_master he_says YHWH indeed if/because the_four_of judgements_of_my (the)_harmful sword and_famine and_animal[s] wild and_pestilence I_will_send against Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) to_cut_off from_her/it humankind and_animal[s].
22 And_BEHOLD/LO/SEE it_will_be_left in_it an_escaped_remnant those_who_are_brought_out sons and_daughters THERE_they are_about_to_come_out to_you(pl) and_you(pl)_will_see DOM conduct_of_their and_DOM practices_of_their and_you(pl)_will_be_comforted on the_calamity which I_have_brought on Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) DOM all_of that I_have_brought on_it.
23 And_they_will_comfort you(pl) if/because you(pl)_will_see DOM conduct_of_their and_DOM practices_of_their and_you(pl)_will_know if/because_that not without_cause I_have_done DOM all_of that I_have_done in_it the_utterance_of my_master YHWH.
