NET Joshua summoned the Gibeonites and said to them, “Why did you trick us by saying, ‘We live far away from you,’ when you really live nearby?

Luth Da rief ihnen Josua und redete mit ihnen und sprach: Warum habt ihr uns betrogen und gesagt, ihr seid sehr ferne von uns, so ihr doch unter uns wohnet?
   (So shouted to_them Yosua and talked with to_them and spoke: Warum have you/their/her us/to_us/ourselves betrogen and said, you/their/her seid very ferne from uns, so you/their/her though/but under us/to_us/ourselves lives?)
