OET (OET-RV) For this cause, you have put your fear in our hearts, to the intent that we should call upon your name. We will praise you in our captivity, for we have called to mind all the iniquity of our fathers who sinned before you.
BrLXX Ὅτι διὰ τοῦτο ἔδωκας τὸν φόβον σου ἐπὶ καρδίαν ἡμῶν, καὶ ἐπικαλεῖσθαι τὸ ὄνομά σου· καὶ αἰνέσομέν σε ἐν τῇ ἀποικίᾳ ἡμῶν, ὅτι ἀπεστρέψαμεν ἀπὸ καρδίας ἡμῶν πᾶσαν ἀδικίαν πατέρων ἡμῶν, τῶν ἡμαρτηκότων ἐναντίον σου.
(Hoti dia touto edōkas ton fobon sou epi kardian haʸmōn, kai epikaleisthai to onoma sou; kai ainesomen se en taʸ apoikia haʸmōn, hoti apestrepsamen apo kardias haʸmōn pasan adikian paterōn haʸmōn, tōn haʸmartaʸkotōn enantion sou. )
