4 Then the Yaʸsous was _brought _up into the wilderness by the spirit to _be _tempted by the devil.
2 And having _fasted forty days and forty nights, later he _hungered.
3 And the one tempting having _approached, said to _him:
If you _are the_son of_ the _god, speak that the these stones may _become loaves.
4 But he answering said:
It _has _been _written:
The person not only by bread will _be _living, but by every message going _out through the_mouth of_god.
5 Then the devil is _taking him to the holy city, and stood him on the pinnacle of _the temple, 6 and he _is _saying to _him:
If you _are the_son of_ the _god, throw yourself down, because/for it _has _been _written, that Will _be _commanding to _the messengers of _him concerning you, and:
They _will _be _carrying you in ^their_hands, lest you _may _strike the foot of _you against a_stone.
7 The Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) was _saying to _him:
Again it _has _been _written:
You_˓will˒_ not _be _Testing the_master the god of _you.
8 Again the devil is _taking him to a_ exceedingly high _mountain, and is _showing to _him all the kingdoms of _the world and the glory of _them, 9 and he _said to _him:
I _will _be _giving all these things to _you if having _fallen, you _may _prostrate before _me.
10 Then the Yaʸsous is _saying to _him:
Be _going _away Satan/(Sāţān), because/for it _has _been _written:
You _will _be _prostrating the_master the god of _you, and only unto _him you _will _be _serving.
11 Then the devil is _leaving him, and see, messengers approached and were _serving unto _him.
12 And having _heard that Yōannaʸs was _given _over, he _withdrew into the Galilaia/(Gālīl).
13 And having _left the Nazaret, having _come he _dwelt at Kafarnaʼoum, which is by_the_seaside in the_regions of _Zaboulōn/(Zəⱱūlūn) and Nefthaleim/(Naftālī), 14 in _order _that the message may _be _fulfilled having _been _spoken by Aʸsaias/(Yəshaˊ^yāh) the prophet saying, 15 Land of _Zaboulōn and land of _Nefthaleim, way of_the_sea, beyond the Yordanaʸs/(Yardēn), Galilaia of _the pagans.
16 The people which sitting in darkness saw a_ great _light, and to _the ones sitting in a_land and shadow of _death, a_light rose on _them.
17 From then the Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) began to _be _proclaiming and to _be _saying:
Be _repenting, because/for the kingdom of _the heavens has _neared.
18 And walking beside the sea of_ the _Galilaia he _saw two, brothers, Simōn which being _called Petros and Andreas the brother of _him, throwing a_throwing _net into the sea, because/for they _were fishermen.
19 And he _is _saying to _them:
Come after me, and I _will _be _making you _all fishermen of _people.
20 And which immediately having _left the nets, they _followed after _him.
21 And having _advanced from _there, he _saw two other brothers, Yakōbos/(Yaˊₐqoⱱ) the son of_ the _Zebedaios and Yōannaʸs the brother of _him, in the boat with Zebedaios the father of _them, preparing the nets of _them, and he _called them.
22 And which immediately having _left the boat and the father of _them, they _followed after _him.
23 And the Yaʸsous he _was _going _around in all the Galilaia/(Gālīl), teaching in the synagogues of _them, and proclaiming the good _message of _the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.
24 And the report of _him went _away into all the Suria/(ʼArām).
And they _brought to _him all the ones sickly, having with _various diseases, and being _gripped _with with _torments, being _demon _possessed, and being _epileptic, and paralytic, and he _healed them.
25 And great crowds followed after _him from the Galilaia, and the_Dekapolis, and Hierousalaʸm/(Yərūshālayim), and Youdaia, and beyond the Yordanaʸs/(Yardēn).
