5 And_said please Oh_YHWH the_god_of the_heavens the_god the_great and_the_awesome [who]_keeps the_covenant and_steadfast_love with_love_of_him and_for_keep_of commands_of_his.
6 Let_it_be please ear_of_your attentive and_eyes_of_your open[fn] to_hear to the_prayer_of servant_of_your which I [am]_praying to_your_face the_day by_day and_night on the_people_of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) your_servants and_confessing on the_sins_of the_people_of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) which we_have_sinned to/for_you(fs) and_I and_house_of father’s_of_my we_have_sinned.
7 Exceedingly_(corruptly) we_have_acted_corruptly to/for_you(fs) and_not we_have_kept DOM the_commands and_DOM the_statutes and_DOM the_ordinances which you_commanded DOM Mosheh servant_of_your.

6 And_he/it_said to_me the_king and_the_queen [was]_sitting beside_him until when will_it_be journey_of_your and_when will_you_return and_pleased to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_king and_send_me and_set to_him/it an_appointed_time.
7 And_said to/for_the_king if [is]_on the_king good letters let_people_give to_me to the_governors_of the_other_side_of the_river that grant_passage_me until that I_will_come to Yəhūdāh.
8 And_letter to ʼĀşāf [the_one_who]_kept_of the_forest which to/for_the_king that he_will_give to_me wood(s) to_make_beams DOM the_gates_of the_fortress which by_the_house and_for_wall_of the_city and_for_the_house which I_will_go to_him/it and_granted to_me the_king for_hand_of god_of_my the_gracious on_me.
9 And_came to the_governors_of[fn] of_the_other_side_of the_river and_gave to/for_them DOM the_letters_of the_king and_sent with_me the_king commanders_of [the]_army and_cavalry.
10 and_ Şanⱱallaţ _he/it_listened the_Ḩōrōnite and_Ţōⱱiy^yāh the_official the_ˊAmmōnī and_displeased to/for_them displeasure great (cmp) someone he_had_come to_seek good of_people_of of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).

16 And_the_officials not they_knew where had_I_gone and_what [was]_I doing and_to_the_Yəhūdī/(Jews) and_to_the_priests and_to_the_nobles and_to_the_officials and_to_rest_of the_doer[s]_of the_work until thus not I_had_told.
17 And_said to_them you_all [are]_seeing the_trouble which we in/on/at/with_her (cmp) Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) [is]_desolate and_gates_of_its they_have_been_burned in/on/at/with_fire come and_rebuild DOM the_wall_of Yərūshālam and_not we_will_be again a_reproach.
18 And_told to/for_them DOM the_hand_of god_of_my (cmp) it [had_been]_good upon_me and_also the_words_of the_king which he_had_spoken to_me and_they_said let_us_arise and_build and_strengthened hands_of_their to_the_good.
19 and_ Şanⱱallaţ _he/it_listened the_Ḩōrōnite and_Ţōⱱiy^yāh the_official the_ˊAmmōnī and_Geshem the_ˊArāⱱī and_mocked to/for_us and_despised at_us and_they_said what the_thing the_this which you_all [are]_doing against the_king [are]_you_all rebelling.
20 And_gave DOM_them word and_said to/for_them the_god_of the_heavens he he_will_grant_success to/for_us and_we servants_of_his we_will_arise and_build and_have_you_all there_[is]_not a_share and_right and_memorial in/on/at/with_Yərūshālam.

3 And_ ʼElyāshiyⱱ _he/it_rose_up the_priest/officer the_high and_fellow_of_his the_priests and_rebuilt DOM the_gate_of the_sheep they consecrated_it and_set_up doors_of_its and_unto the_tower_of the_Hundred consecrated_it to the_tower_of Ḩₐnan^ʼēl.
2 and_at his/its_hand the_men_of they_built of_Yərīḩō/(Jericho) and_at his/its_hand Zakkūr he_built the_son_of ʼImrī.

5 and_next side_of_them they_repaired the_Təqōˊī and_nobles_of_their not they_brought shoulders_of_their in/on/at/with_work_of supervisors_of_their.
6 and_DOM the Yəshānāh/(Jeshanah) Yōyādāˊ/(Joiada) they_repaired the_son_of Fāşēaḩ and_Məshullām the_son_of Bəşōdə^yāh they laid_beams_its and_set_up doors_of_its and_bolts_of_its and_bars_of_its.
7 and_at side_of_them Məlaţ^yāh he_repaired the_Giⱱˊōnite and_Yādōn/(Jadon) the_Mēronotī the_men_of Giⱱˊōn and_the_Miʦpāh under_authority_of the_governor_of the_other_side_of the_river.
8 on his/its_hand ˊUzziy^ʼēl he_repaired the_son_of Ḩarhₐ^yāh goldsmiths and_at his/its_hand Ḩₐnan^yāh he_repaired the_son_of the_perfume-makers and_restored Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) to the_wall the_broad.
9 and_at side_of_them Rəfā^yāh he_repaired the_son_of Ḩūr the_official_of (the)_half_of the_district_of Yərūshālam.
10 and_at side_of_them he_repaired Yədaˊ^yāh/(Jedaiah) the_son_of Ḩₐrūmaf and_opposite house_of_his and_at his/its_hand Ḩaţţūsh he_repaired the_son_of Ḩₐshaⱱnə^yāh.
11 A_measured_portion second Malkīy^yāh he_repaired the_son_of Ḩārim and_Ḩashshəūⱱ the_son_of Paḩat- Mōʼāⱱ and_DOM the_tower_of the_ovens.
12 and_at his/its_hand Shallūm he_repaired the_son_of Hallōḩēsh the_official_of (the)_half_of the_district_of Yərūshālam he and_daughters_of_his.
13 DOM the_gate_of the_valley Ḩānūn he_repaired and_ of_Zānōaḩ _inhabitants_of they rebuilt_it and_set_up doors_of_its bolts_of_its and_bars_of_its and_a_thousand cubit[s] in/on/at/with_wall to the_gate_of the_dung.
14 And_DOM the_gate_of the_dung Malkīy^yāh he_repaired the_son_of Rēkāⱱ the_official_of the_district_of Bēyt Hakkerem he rebuilt_it and_set_up doors_of_its bolts_of_its and_bars_of_its.
15 and_DOM the_gate_of the_fountain Shallūn he_repaired the_son_of Kāl/(Col)- Ḩozeh the_official_of the_district_of the_Miʦpāh he rebuilt_it and_covered_it and_set_up[fn] doors_of_its bolts_of_its and_bars_of_its and_DOM the_wall_of the_pool_of the_shelah to/for_garden the_king and_unto the_steps the_going_down from_city_of Dāvid.
16 after_him Nəḩem^yāh he_repaired the_son_of ˊAzbūq the_official_of (the)_half_of the_district_of Bēyt Tsūr/(Zur) to before the_tombs_of Dāvid and_unto the_pool the_artificial and_unto the_house_of the_powerful/mighty(pl).
17 after_him they_repaired the_Lēviyyiy Rəḩūm the_son_of Bānī on his/its_hand Ḩₐshaⱱ^yāh he_repaired the_official_of (the)_half_of the_district_of Qəˊīlāh for_district_of_his.
18 after_him brothers_of_their they_repaired Baūy the_son_of Ḩēnādād the_official_of (the)_half_of the_district_of Qəˊīlāh.
19 and_repaired on his/its_hand ˊĒzer the_son_of Yēshūˊa/(Jeshua) the_official_of the_Miʦpāh a_measured_portion second from_facing the_going_up the_armory the_angle.
20 after_him he_kindled he_repaired Bārūk the_son_of Zakkay[fn] a_measured_portion second from the_angle to the_entrance_of the_house_of ʼElyāshiyⱱ the_priest/officer the_high.
21 after_him Mərēmōt he_repaired the_son_of ʼŪriy^yāh the_son_of Haqōʦ a_measured_portion second from_door_of the_house_of ʼElyāshiyⱱ and_unto the_end_of the_house_of ʼElyāshiyⱱ.
22 and_after_him they_repaired the_priests the_men_of the_surrounding_area.
23 After_them Binyāmīn he_repaired and_Ḩashshəūⱱ before house_of_their after_them ˊAzar^yāh he_repaired the_son_of Maˊₐsē^yāh the_son_of ˊAnan^yāh beside house_of_his.
24 after_him Binnūy he_repaired the_son_of Ḩēnādād a_measured_portion second from_house_of ˊAzar^yāh to the_angle and_unto the_corner.
25 Pālāl the_son_of ʼŪzay at_opposite the_angle and_the_tower the_projecting from_house_of the_king the_upper which at_court_of the_guard after_him Pədā^yāh the_son_of Farˊosh/(Parosh).
26 and_the_temple_servants [who]_they_were dwelling in/on/at/with_ophel to before the_gate_of the_waters on_the_east and_the_tower the_projecting.
27 after_him they_repaired the_Təqōˊī a_measured_portion second from_opposite the_tower the_great the_projecting and_unto the_wall_of the_ophel.
28 From_under the_gate_of the_horse they_repaired the_priests each in_front_of house_of_his_own.

31 wwww[fn] Malkīy^yāh he_repaired the_son_of the_goldsmiths to the_house_of the_temple_servants and_the_merchants before the_gate_of the_muster and_unto the_roof-chamber_of the_corner.
32 And_between the_roof-chamber_of the_corner to_gate_of the_sheep they_repaired the_goldsmiths and_the_merchants.
33 [fn] and_he/it_was just_as he_heard Şanⱱallaţ if/because_that we [were]_rebuilding DOM the_wall and_it_glowed/burned to_him/it and_enraged greatly and_mocked (on) the_Yəhūdī/(Jews).
34 [fn] and_he/it_said to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before brothers_of_his and_army_of Shomrōn and_he/it_said what the_Yəhūdī the_feeble doing restore to/for_them offer_sacrifices the_finish in/on/at/with_day the_revive DOM the_stones from_heaps_of the_rubble and_these [are]_burned.
35 [fn] and_Ţōⱱiy^yāh the_ˊAmmōnī beside_him and_he/it_said also [that]_which they [are]_building if it_will_go_up a_fox and_break_down the_wall_of stone_of_their.
36 [fn] hear god_of_our if/because we_are contempt and_turn_back insults_of_their to heads_of_their_own and_give_over_them as_plunder in_land captivity.
37 [fn] and_not cover over guilt_of_their and_sin_of_their from_before_sight_of_your not let_it_be_wiped_out if/because they_have_provoked_to_anger in_face the_builders.
38 [fn] and_rebuilt DOM the_wall and_ all_of _joined_together the_wall to half_of_its and_ a_heart _he/it_was of_the_people for_doing.

4 [fn] and_he/it_was as_when he_heard Şanⱱallaţ and_Ţōⱱiy^yāh and_the_ˊArāⱱī and_the_ˊAmmōnī and_the_ʼAshdōdites if/because_that it_had_gone_up [the]_repair of_walls_of of_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) if/because_that they_had_begun the_gaps to_closed and_it_glowed/burned to/for_them exceedingly.
2 [fn] all_of_they and_plotted together to_come to_fight in/on/at/with_Yərūshālam and_to_cause to_him/it confusion.
3 [fn] and_prayed to god_of_our and_set_up a_guard against_them by_day and_night from_because_of_them.
4 [fn] and_ Yəhūdāh/(Judah) _he/it_said the_strength_of it_has_failed the_burden_bearers and_the_rubble [is]_much and_we not we_will_be_able to_rebuild in/on/at/with_wall.
5 [fn] enemies_of_our and_they_said not they_will_know and_not they_will_see until that we_will_come into among_of_them and_kill_them and_stop DOM the_work.
6 [fn] and_he/it_was just_as they_came the_Yəhūdī/(Jews) the_lived near_them and_they_said to/for_us ten times from_all the_places (cmp) you_all_will_turn against_us.
7 [fn] and_stationed in_lowest of_the_space at_behind of_the_wall in/on/at/with_open_places[fn] and_stationed DOM the_people by_families with swords_of_their spears_of_their and_bows_of_their.

11 [fn] the_building in/on/at/with_wall and_the_carried in/on/at/with_loads [were]_carrying_[it] in/on/at/with_one_of his/its_hand [he_was]_doing in/on/at/with_work and_other [was]_holding the_weapon.
12 [fn] and_the_builders each sword_of_his [were]_girded on side_of_his and_built and_the_sounded in/on/at/with_trumpet beside_me.
13 [fn] and_said to the_nobles and_near/to the_officials and_near/to the_rest_of the_people the_work [is]_much and_spread_out and_we [are]_separated on the_wall [are]_distant each from_another_of_him.
14 [fn] in/on/at/with_place_of (of)_where you_all_will_hear DOM the_sound_of the_trumpet there_at you_all_will_assemble to_us god_of_our he_will_fight to/for_us.
15 [fn] and_we [were]_doing in/on/at/with_work and_half_of_them [were]_keeping_hold in/on/at/with_spears from_break the_dawn until came_out the_stars.
16 [fn] also in/on/at/with_time the_that I_said to_the_people each and_servant_of_his let_them_spend_the_night in_the_middle of_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_they_will_be to/for_us the_night a_guard and_the_day work.
17 [fn] and_neither I and_brothers_of_my and_servants_of_my and_men_of the_guard who followed_me not we clothes_of_our [were]_stripping_off each weapon_of_his the_waters.

5 and_it_became (the)_cry_of_distress_of the_people and_wives_of_their great against brothers_of_their the_Yəhūdī/(Jewish).
2 And_there_were [those]_who [were]_saying sons_of_our and_daughters_of_our we [are]_many and_get grain and_we_eat and_live.
3 And_there_were [those]_who [were]_saying fields_of_our and_vineyards_of_our and_houses_of_our we [are]_mortgaging and_get grain in/on/at/with_famine.
4 And_there_were [those]_who [were]_saying we_have_borrowed money for_tax_of the_king fields_of_our and_vineyards_of_our.
5 And_now like_flesh_of brothers_of_our flesh_of_our as_children_of_their children_of_our and_see/lo/see we [are]_forcing_into_slavery DOM sons_of_our and_DOM daughters_of_our to_slaves and_there_are some_of_daughters_of_our [are_being]_forced_into_slavery and_not in_power_of help_of_we and_fields_of_our and_vineyards_of_our belong_to_others.
6 And_it_glowed/burned to_me exceedingly just_as I_heard DOM outcry_of_their and_DOM the_words the_these.
7 heart_of_my And_pondered with_myself and_accused with the_nobles and_DOM the_officials and_said to/for_them usury[fn] each in/on/at/with_brother_of_his you_all [are]_lending[fn][fn][fn] and_called against_them an_assembly great.
8 And_said to/for_them we we_have_bought DOM brothers_of_our the_Yəhūdī/(Jewish) the_sold to_the_nations as_far_as_able_of in/on/at/with_we and_also you_all you_all_sold DOM brothers_of_your_all’s and_sold to/for_us and_silent and_not they_found a_word.
9 and_said[fn][fn][fn] not [is]_good the_thing which you_all [are]_doing am_not in/on/at/with_fear_of god_of_our are_you_all_walking prevent_reproach_of the_nations enemies_of_our.
10 And_also I brothers_of_my and_servants_of_my [are]_lending (is)_in_them money and_grain let_us_abandon please DOM the_interest the_this.
11 Return please to/for_them as_the_day fields_of_their vineyards_of_their olive_groves_of_their and_houses_of_their and_one_hundred the_money and_the_grain the_new_wine and_the_oil which you_all [are]_lending in/on/at/with_them.
12 And_they_said we_will_return_[it] and_from_them not we_will_require_[it] so we_will_do just_as you [are]_saying and_called DOM the_priests and_take_an_oath_them for_doing as_the_promised the_this.
13 Also folds_of_robe_of_my I_shook_out and_said thus may_he_shake_out the_ʼElohīm DOM every_of the_man who not he_will_carry_out DOM the_promise the_this from_house_of_his and_from_possessions_of_his and_so may_he_be shaken_out and_emptied and_ all_of _they_said the_assembly amen and_praised DOM YHWH and_he/it_made the_people as_the_promised the_this.
14 Also from_day when someone_appointed DOM_me to_be governor_of_their in_land of_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) from_year_of twenty and_unto year_of thirty and_two of_ʼArtaḩshashtāʼ the_king years two_plus ten I and_brothers_of_my the_food_of the_governor not I_ate.
15 And_the_governors the_former who to/for_my_face/front they_made_heavy on the_people and_they_took from_them in/on/at/with_food and_wine after silver shekels forty also servants_of_their they_domineered over the_people and_I not I_did thus from_face/in_front_of the_fear_of god.
16 And_also in/on/at/with_work_of the_wall the_this I_kept_hold and_land not we_acquired and_all servants_of_my [were]_assembled there on the_work.
17 And_the_Yəhūdī/(Jews) and_the_officials one_hundred and_fifty person[s] and_the_came to_us from the_nations which around_of_us [were]_at table_of_my.
18 And_which it_was made for_day one [was]_an_ox one sheep six chosen and_birds they_were_made to_me and_between ten_of days in_all wine in_abundance and_for this the_food_of the_governor not I_sought if/because it_was_heavy the_burden on the_people the_this.
19 Remember to/for_me god_of_my for_good all that I_have_done on the_people the_this.

6 and_he/it_was as_when it_was_heard to_Şanⱱallaţ and_Ţōⱱiy^yāh and_to_Geshem the_ˊArāⱱī and_to_rest_of enemies_of_our if/because_that I_had_rebuilt DOM the_wall and_not it_was_left in/on/at/with_it a_breach also until the_time the_that doors not I_had_set_up in/on/at/with_gates.
