This is still a very early look into the unfinished text of the Open English Translation of the Bible. Please double-check the text in advance before using in public.
20:19 Yeshua appears to his followers
19 On Sunday evening Yeshua’s trainees had met together and had the doors locked because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders, but Yeshua arrived and stood in the middle of the room and said, “Peace to you all.” 20 Then he showed them his hands and his side and they were so happy now that they had seen the master. 21 Yeshua continued, “Peace to you all. Now I am sending you all out just like the father sent me out.” 22 Then he breathed on them and said, “Receive the holy spirit. 23 [ref]If you forgive anyone’s sins, then they’ll be forgiven but if you withhold forgiveness, then it will be withheld.”
28:16 Yeshua commissions his apprentices as missionaries
16 [ref]The eleven apprentices travelled up to Galilee to the hill that Yeshua had previously told them to go to, 17 and when they saw him there, they immediately bowed down to the ground, even though their minds weren’t sure that it was really him. 18 Then Yeshua came closer and told them, “I have been given authority over both heavenly and earthly affairs 19 [ref]so I want you to leave here and go and train followers in every country, immersing them in water with the authority of the father and the son and the holy spirit. 20 Then teach them to do everything just like I instructed all of you. And listen, I will be with you all every day right through until the end of this age.”
16:14 Yeshua appears to his trainees and instructs them
14 Later again when the eleven trainees were sitting around eating, Yeshua appeared in the room and scolded them for not believing and for being so stubborn when they hadn’t believed others who had told them that he’d come back from the dead. 15 Then he instructed them, “Travel around all the world[ref] and tell the good message to everyone. 16 Anyone who believes and gets immersed in water will be saved, however, those who refuse to believe will be condemned to death. 17 Those who believe will be able to do miracles: they’ll be able to use my authority to command demons to leave and to speak new languages, 18 and they’ll be able to pick up snakes. If they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them, and they will place their hands on people and make them better.”
24:36 The showing of Yeshua of followers din
36 As they were still talking about these things, Yeshua himself suddenly was there standing in the room and greeted them, “Peace to you all.”
37 However, they got a fright, and then were terrified thinking that it was a spirit. 38 Then he spoke to them again, “Why are you all upset, and why are you thinking such stuff? 39 Look at my hands and feet and you’ll see that it’s me. Touch me and look, because spirits don’t have solid bodies like you can see that I have.”
40 Then he showed them his hands and his feet. 41 Some of them, still not believing, had a mixture of happiness and doubt, and he asked them, “Have you got anything here to eat?” 42 They handed him a piece of broiled fish, 43 and he took it and ate it in front of them.
44 Then he told them, “While I was still with you all, I told you those messages of mine, and how that everything written about me by Mosheh and the prophets and in the songs, it’s all going to be fulfilled.” 45 Then he opened their minds to be able to understand the scriptures, and he told them, 46 “It was written that the messiah would suffer and to come back to life on the third day, 47 and that his name will be proclaimed as the authority to forgive the sins of the people when they repent—people from every country beginning here in Yerushalem. 48 You all are witnesses of all that. 49 [ref]Soon I’ll be sending out the one that my father promised to you all, but meanwhile you must remain here in the city until you all get clothed in power that comes from heaven.”
Mat 16:19:
19 [ref]I’ve give you the keys of the kingdom of the heavens, and whatever you restrain on the earth will be restrained in the heavens, and whatever you free on the earth, will be freed in the heavens.”
18:18:
18:18 Restricting and releasing
18 [ref]“I can assure you that whatever you restrain on the earth will be restrained in heaven, and what ever you set free on the earth will be set free in heaven.
Mat 26:32:
32 [ref]But after I come back to life, I’ll go to Galilee ahead of you all.”
Mrk 14:28:
28 [ref]But after I come back to life, I’ll go on ahead of you back to Galilee.”
Acts 1:8:
8 [ref]However, you all will be receiving power when the holy spirit lands on you. Then you’ll tell people about me in Yerushalem and all across the provinces of Yudea and Samaria, and all the way to the furtherest parts of the planet.”
Acts 1:8:
8 [ref]However, you all will be receiving power when the holy spirit lands on you. Then you’ll tell people about me in Yerushalem and all across the provinces of Yudea and Samaria, and all the way to the furtherest parts of the planet.”
Acts 1:4:
4 [ref]Once when they were together, he told them, “Don’t leave Yerushalem, but wait there for what was promised by the father, as you all have already heard me say.
