20 And on _ the first day of _ the week , Maria/(Miryām) the from _ Magdala is _ coming early , to the tomb still being darkness , and is _ seeing the stone having _ been_ taken_ away from the tomb .
2 Therefore she _ is_ running and is _ coming to Simōn Petros , and to the other apprentice/follower whom was _ loving the Yaʸsous , and she _ is_ saying to _ them :
They _ took_ away the master out _ of the tomb , and we _ have_ not _ known where they _ laid him .
3 Therefore the Petros and the other apprentice/follower came _ out , and they _ were_ coming to the tomb .
4 And the two were _ running together , and the other apprentice/follower ran _ ahead more _ quickly than the Petros , and came to the tomb first .
5 And having _ stooped_ down , he _ is_ seeing lying there the linen _ cloths , however he _ not _ came_ in .
6 Therefore Simōn Petros is _ also _ coming following after _ him , and came _ in into the tomb , and is _ observing the linen _ cloths lying there , 7 and the handkerchief , which was on the head of _ him , lying there not with the linen _ cloths , but separately having _ been_ wrapped in one place .
8 Therefore then the other apprentice/follower also came _ in , which having _ come first to the tomb , and he _ saw and believed , 9 for/because they _ had_ not _ yet _ known the scripture that it _ is_ fitting him to _ rise_ up from the _ dead .
10 Therefore the apprentices/followers they _ went_ away again to themselves .
11 But Maria/(Miryām) had _ stood at the tomb outside weeping .
Therefore as she _ was_ weeping , she _ stooped_ down into the tomb , 12 and is _ observing two messengers in white sitting , one at the head , and one at the feet , where the body of _ the _ Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) was _ lying .
13 And those are _ saying to _ her :
Woman , why are _ you_ weeping ?
She _ is_ saying to _ them :
Because they _ took_ away the master of _ me , and I _ have_ not _ known where they _ laid him .
14 Having _ said these , she _ was_ turned back to the , and is _ observing the Yaʸsous having _ stood , and had _ not _ known that it _ is Yaʸsous .
15 Yaʸsous is _ saying to _ her :
Woman , why are _ you_ weeping ?
Whom are _ you_ seeking ?
That woman supposing that he _ is the gardener , is _ saying to _ him :
Master , if you bore him , tell to _ me where you _ laid him , and _ I will _ be_ taking_ him _ away .
16 The Yaʸsous is _ saying to _ her :
Maria .
that woman Having _ been_ turned is _ saying to _ him In _ Hebraios :
Rabboni (that is _ being_ called :
Teacher ).
17 The Yaʸsous is _ saying to _ her :
Be _ not _ touching against _ me , because/for I _ have_ not _ yet _ gone_ up to the father , but be _ going to the brothers of _ me , and say to _ them :
I _ am_ going_ up to the father of _ me , and the _ father of _ you_ all , and god of _ me , and god of _ you_ all .
18 Maria/(Miryām) the from _ Magdala Is _ coming announcing to _ the apprentices/followers , that I _ have_ seen the master , and he _ said these to _ her .
19 Therefore being evening the on _ that _ day the first of _ the _ week , and the doors having _ been_ shut where the apprentices/followers were because _ of the fear of _ the Youdaiōns , the Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) came and stood in the midst , and is _ saying to _ them :
Peace to _ you_ all .
20 And having _ said this , he _ showed his hands and his side to _ them .
Therefore the apprentices/followers were _ elated , having _ seen the master .
21 Therefore the Yaʸsous he _ said to _ them again :
Peace to _ you_ all , as the father has _ sent_ me _ out , also _ I am _ sending you _ all .
22 And having _ said this , he _ breathed_ on them and is _ saying to _ them :
Receive holy the _ spirit .
23 If of _ any you _ all_ may_ forgive the sins , they _ have_ been_ forgiven to _ them , if of _ any you _ all_ may_ be_ restraining , they _ have_ been_ restrained .
24 But Thōmas , one of the twelve , the being _ called Didumos/[twin] , was not with them when Yaʸsous came .
25 Therefore the other apprentices/followers were _ saying to _ him :
We _ have_ seen the master .
But he said to _ them :
If I _ may_ not _ see the mark of _ the nails in the hands of _ him , and I _ may_ put the finger of _ me into the mark of _ the nails , and I _ may_ put the hand of _ me into the side of _ him , by _ no_ means I will _ not _ be_ believing .
26 And after eight days the apprentices/followers of _ him were again inside , and Thōmas with them .
the Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) Is _ coming , the doors having _ been_ shut , and stood in the midst , and said :
Peace to _ you_ all .
27 Thereafter he _ is_ saying to _ the _ Thōmas :
Be _ bringing the finger of _ you here , and see the hands of _ me , and be _ bringing the hand of _ you , and put it into the side of _ me , and be _ not _ becoming unbelieving , but believing .
28 Thōmas answered and said to _ him :
- master of _ me and the god of _ me .
29 The Yaʸsous is _ saying to _ him :
Because you _ have_ seen me , have _ believed , blessed are the not having _ seen , and _ yet having _ believed .
30 Many therefore on _ one_ hand other signs the Yaʸsous also did before of _ the apprentices/followers of _ him , which is not having _ been_ written in the this scroll .
31 On _ the_ other_ hand these has _ been_ written , in _ order_ that you _ all_ may_ be_ believing that Yaʸsous is the chosen _ one/messiah , the son of _ the _ god , and in _ order_ that believing , you _ all_ may_ be_ having life in the name of _ him .
