39 In_year (the)_ninth of_Tsidqiy^yāh the _king _of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) in_month (the)_tenth Nəⱱūkadneʦʦar the _king _of Bāⱱel and_all army _of_his he _came to Yərūshālaim/(Jerusalem) and_they _laid _siege on_it.

2 In_one _plus _of ten year of_Tsidqiy^yāh/(Zedekiah) in_month the_fourth on_day_nine of_month the_city it _was _broken _into.

3 And_ all _of the _officials _of the _king _of Bāⱱel _they _came and_they _lived in_the _gate _of the _middle Nērəggal- Sharʼeʦer Nērəggal- Şamgar Nəⱱō Sar- sekim the_Raⱱ _of şārīş Nērəggal- Sharʼeʦer Nērəggal- the_Raⱱ māg and_all the _rest _of the _officials _of the _king _of Bāⱱel.

4 And_he/it _was just_as he_saw _them Tsidqiy^yāh the _king _of Yəhūdāh and_all/each/any/every the _men _of (the)_war and_they _fled and_they _went _out night from the_city the _way _of the _garden _of the_king in_a _gate between the _two_walls and_he/it _went _out the _way _of the _ˊArāⱱāh.

5 And_ the _army _of the_ones_from _Kasdiy _they _pursued after_them and_they _overtook DOM Tsidqiy^yāh in_the _plains _of Yərīḩō/(Jericho) and_they _took DOM_him/it and_they_brought _him _up to Nəⱱūkadneʦʦar the _king _of Bāⱱel to_Riⱱlāh in_land of_Ḩₐmāt and_he/it _spoke with_him/it judgements.

6 And_ the _king _of Bāⱱel _he _slaughtered DOM the _sons _of Tsidqiy^yāh at_Riⱱlāh to_eyes _of_his and_DOM all _of the _nobles _of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) the _king _of Bāⱱel he _slaughtered.

7 And_DOM the _eyes _of Tsidqiy^yāh/(Zedekiah) he _made _blind and_he_bound _him with _(the)_fetters to_bring DOM_him/it to_Bāⱱel.

8 And_DOM the _house _of the_king and_DOM the _house _of the _people the_ones_from _Kasdiy they _burnt with_fire and_DOM the _walls _of Yərūshālaim/(Jerusalem) they _pulled _down.

9 And_DOM the _rest _of the _people which_remained in_city and_DOM those_who _had_fallen who they _had _fallen on/upon/above_him/it and_DOM the _rest _of the _people which_remained he _took _into _exile Nəⱱūzar ʼₐdān[fn] the_chief _of the_bodyguards Bāⱱel.

10 And_from the_people (the)_poor who there_belonged_not to/for_them anything Nəⱱūzarʼₐdān the_chief _of the_bodyguards he _left in_land of _Yəhūdāh and_he/it _gave to/for_them vineyards and_fields in _the_day (the)_that.

11 And_ Nəⱱūkadneʦʦar the _king _of Bāⱱel _he/it _commanded on Yirmə^yāh/(Jeremiah) by_the _hand _of Nəⱱūzarʼₐdān the_chief _of the_bodyguards to_say.

12 Take_him and_eyes _of_your set on/upon/above_him/it and_do _not do to_him/it anything harmful if/because wwww[fn] just_as he _will _say to_you so do with_him/it.

13 And_he _sent Nəⱱūzarʼₐdān the_chief _of the_bodyguards and[fn] the_Raⱱ _of şārīş and_Nērəggal- chief Nērəggal- the_Raⱱ _of māg and_all/each/any/every the _chiefs _of the _king _of Bāⱱel.

14 And_they _sent and_they _took DOM Yirmə^yāh from_the _courtyard _of the _guard and_they _gave _over DOM_him/it to Gədal^yāh the _son _of ʼAḩīqām the _son _of Shāfān to_take_him _out to the_house and_he/it _sat _down//remained//lived in _the_middle the_people.

15 And_to Yirmə^yāh the _message _of YHWH it _had _come when_was_he shut _up in_the _courtyard _of the _guard to_say.

16 Go and_you _will _say to_ˊEⱱed- king[fn] the_Kūshiy/(Cushite) to_say thus YHWH soldiers/messengers the _god _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) he _says HERE_I am_about _to _bring[fn] DOM words/messages _of_my against the_city (the)_this for_harm and_not for_good and_they _will _be to_your_face in _the_day (the)_that.

17 And_I_will _deliver _you on_day (the)_that the _utterance _of YHWH and_not you _will _be _given in_the _hand _of the _people whom you are_fearful of_them.

18 If/because certainly _(rescue) I_will _rescue _you and_by_sword not you _will _fall and_it _will _belong to/for_yourself(m) life _of_your to_plunder if/because you _trusted in_me the _utterance _of YHWH.
