3 And _ I _ tookDOM zanyāh /(Jaazaniah) the _ son_ ofYirmə yāh the _ son_ ofHabazziniah and _ DOM brothers _ of_ his and _ DOM all _ ofchildren _ of_ his and _ DOM all _ ofthe _ house_ ofthe _ Rēkāⱱites4 And _ I _ broughtDOM _ them the _ house_ ofYHWH to the _ room_ ofthe _ sons_ ofḨānān the _ son_ ofIgdaliah the _ man_ ofthe _ ʼElohīm which was _ besidethe _ room_ ofthe _ officialswhich was _ from_ above (to) _ the_ room _ ofsēyāh the _ son_ ofShallūm the _ keeper_ ofthe _ threshold5 And _ I _ setto _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforethe _ sons_ ofthe _ house_ ofthe _ Rēkāⱱitesbowls full wine and _ cups and _ I _ saidto _ them drink wine .
6 And _ they _ saidnot we _ drinkwine if/because Yōnādāⱱ/(Jonadab) the _ son_ ofRēkāⱱ ancestor _ of_ our he _ commandedto _ us to _ say not you(pl) _ must_ drinkwine you(pl) and _ your(pl) _ of_ children until perpetuity .
7 And _ a _ housenot you(pl) _ must_ buildand _ seed not you(pl) _ must_ sowand _ a _ vineyardnot you(pl) _ must_ plantand _ not it _ will_ belongto/for _ you(pl) if/because in _ tents you(pl) _ will_ dwellall _ ofdays _ of_ your(pl) so _ thatyou(pl) _ may_ livedays many on the _ surface_ ofthe _ soil where you(pl) are _ sojourningthere .
8 And _ we _ have_ listenedto _ the _ voice_ ofYōnādāⱱ the _ son_ ofRēkāⱱ ancestor _ of_ our to _ all/each/any/every that he _ commanded _ usto _ not to _ drinkwine all _ ofdays _ of_ our we wives _ of_ our sons _ of_ our and _ our _ of_ daughters .
