29 and_these are_the_words/messages_of the_letter which he_sent Yirməyāh/(Jeremiah) the_prophet from_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) to the_remainder_of the_elders_of the_exile[s] and_near/to the_priests and_near/to the_prophets and_near/to all_of the_people which he_had_taken_into_exile Nəⱱūkadneʦʦar from_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) to_Bāⱱel.
2 After went_out Yəkānəyāh/(Jeconiah) the_king and_the_queen-mother and_the_court-officials the_officials_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_the_craftsman and_the_smith from_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
3 By_the_hand_of Eleasah the_son_of Shāfān and_Gemariah the_son_of Ḩilqiyyāh whom he_sent Tsidqiyyāh/(Zedekiah) the_king_of Yəhūdāh to Nəⱱūkadneʦʦar the_king_of Bāⱱel to_Bāⱱel to_say.
4 thus YHWH he_says soldiers/messengers the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to/from_all/each/any/every the_exile[s] whom I_sent_into_exile from_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) to_Bāⱱel.
5 Build houses and_dwell and_plant gardens and_eat DOM produce_of_their.
6 Take wives and_father sons and_daughters and_take for_sons_of_your(pl) wives and_DOM daughters_of_your(pl) give to_husbands so_that_they_may_bear sons and_daughters and_increase/multiply there and_do_not diminish.
7 And_seek DOM the_welfare_of the_city where I_have_sent_into_exile you(pl) to_(to) and_pray for_it to YHWH if/because in_welfare_of_its it_will_belong to/for_you(pl) welfare.
8 if/because thus YHWH he_says soldiers/messengers the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) not let_them_deceive to/for_you(pl) prophets_of_your(pl) who are_in_midst_of_your(pl) and_diviners_of_your(pl) and_do_not listen to dreams_of_your(pl) which you(pl) are_dreaming.
9 If/because with_falsehood they are_prophesying to/for_you(pl) in_name_of_my not I_sent_them the_utterance_of YHWH.
10 if/because thus YHWH he_says if/because to_the_mouth_of (of)_will_be_completed for_Bāⱱel seventy year[s] I_will_give_attention_to you(pl) and_I_will_carry_out on_you(pl) DOM message_of_my (the)_good by_bringing_back you(pl) to the_place (the)_this.
11 If/because I I_know DOM the_plans which I am_planning on_you(pl) the_utterance_of YHWH plans_of well-being and_not for_harm to_give to/for_you(pl) a_future and_a_hope.
12 And_you(pl)_will_call_on DOM_me and_you(pl)_will_come and_you(pl)_will_pray to_me and_I_will_listen to_you(pl).
13 And_you(pl)_will_seek DOM_me and_you(pl)_will_find_me if/because you(pl)_will_seek_me in_all heart_of_your(pl).
14 And_I_will_let_myself_be_found to/for_you(pl) the_utterance_of YHWH and_I_will_turn_back DOM captivity_of_your(pl)[fn] and_I_will_gather you(pl) from_all the_nations and_from_all_of the_places where I_banished you(pl) there the_utterance_of YHWH and_I_will_bring_back you(pl) to the_place where I_sent_into_exile you(pl) from_there.
15 If/because you(pl)_have_said he_has_raised_up to/for_us YHWH prophets (to)_Bāⱱel.
16 if/because thus YHWH he_says concerning the_king who_sits to the_throne_of Dāvid and_near/to all_of the_people which_dwells in_city (the)_this countrymen_of_your(pl) who not they_went_out with_you(pl) in_exile.
17 Thus YHWH he_says soldiers/messengers here_I am_about_to_send on_them DOM the_drought//sword/knife DOM (the)_famine and_DOM (the)_pestilence and_I_will_make them like_figs (the)_rotten which not they_will_be_eaten from_badness.
18 And_I_will_pursue after_them with_sword with_famine and_with_pestilence and_I_will_make_them mmm[fn] to_all/each/any/every the_kingdoms_of the_earth/land into_a_curse and_into_a_waste and_into_a_hissing and_into_a_reproach in_all the_nations where I_have_banished_them there.
19 Because that not they_listened to words/messages_of_my the_utterance_of YHWH which I_sent to_them DOM servants_of_my the_prophets rising_early and_sending and_not you(pl)_listened the_utterance_of YHWH.
20 And_you(pl) hear the_message_of YHWH Oh_all_of the_exile[s] whom I_sent from_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) to_Bāⱱel.
21 thus YHWH he_says soldiers/messengers the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) concerning ʼAḩʼāⱱ the_son_of Qōlāyāh and_near/to Tsidqiyyāh/(Zedekiah) the_son_of Maˊₐsēyāh who_are_prophesying to/for_you(pl) in_name_of_my falsehood here_I am_about_to_give DOM_them in_the_hand_of Nəⱱūkadneʦʦar the_king_of Bāⱱel and_he_will_strike_them_down to_eyes_of_your(pl).
22 And_it_will_be_taken from_them a_curse to_all/each/any/every the_exile[s]_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) who are_in_Bāⱱel to_say may_he_make_you YHWH like_Tsidqiyyāh and_like_ʼAḩʼāⱱ whom he_roasted_them the_king_of Bāⱱel in_fire.
23 Because that they_did disgraceful_folly in_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_they_committed_adultery DOM the_wives_of their_neighbours_of_their and_they_spoke a_message in_name_of_my falsehood which not I_commanded_them and_I wwww wwww[fn][fn] and_a_witness the_utterance_of YHWH.
24 and_near/to Shemaiah the_Nehelamite you_will_say to_say.
25 Thus YHWH he_says soldiers/messengers the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_say because that you you_sent in_your_own_of_name letters to all_of the_people which is_in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_near/to Tsəfanyāh/(Zephaniah) the_son_of Maˊₐsēyāh the_priest/officer and_near/to all_of the_priests to_say.
26 YHWH he_has_made_you priest in_place_of Yəhōyādāˊ/(Jehoiada) the_priest/officer to_be overseers the_house_of YHWH to/from_all/each/any/every person who_is_mad and_who_is_prophesying and_you(ms)_will_give DOM_him/it into the_stock[s] and_near/to the_iron_collar.
27 And_now to/for_what not have_you_rebuked (in)_Yirməyāh/(Jeremiah) the_ˊAntotī who_is_prophesying to_you(pl).
28 If/because therefore yes/correct/thus/so he_has_sent to_us Bāⱱel to_say will_be_long it build houses and_dwell and_plant gardens and_eat DOM produce_of_their.
29 And_ Tsəfanyāh _he/it_called the_priest/officer DOM the_letter the_this in_the_ears_of Yirməyāh the_prophet.
30 and_ the_message_of _he/it_was of_YHWH to Yirməyāh to_say.
31 Send to all_of the_exile[s] to_say thus YHWH he_says concerning Shemaiah the_Nehelamite because that he_has_prophesied to/for_you(pl) Shemaiah and_I not I_sent_him and_he_has_made_rely you(pl) on falsehood.
32 For_so/thus/hence thus YHWH he_says here_I am_about_to_visit_judgement on Shemaiah the_Nehelamite and_on his/its_seed not he_will_belong to_him/it anyone who_dwells in_the_middle the_people the_this and_not he_will_look on_good which I will_be_doing for_people_of_my the_utterance_of YHWH if/because rebellion he_has_spoken on YHWH.
