2 After went _ outYə kānə yāh /(Jeconiah) the _ king and _ the _ queen-mother and _ the _ court-officials the _ officials_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) and _ Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) and _ the _ craftsman and _ the _ smith from _ Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) .
3 By _ the _ hand_ ofEleasah the _ son_ ofShāfān and _ Gemariah the _ son_ ofḨilqiyyāh whom he _ sentTsidqiyyāh /(Zedekiah) the _ king_ ofYə hūdāh to Nə ⱱūkadneʦʦar the _ king_ ofBāⱱel to _ Bāⱱel to _ say .
4 thus YHWH he _ sayshosts the _ god_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) to/from _ all/each/any/every the _ exile[s] whom I _ sent_ into_ exilefrom _ Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) to _ Bāⱱel .
5 Build houses and _ dwell and _ plant gardens and _ eat DOM produce _ of_ their .
6 Take wives and _ father sons and _ daughters and _ take for _ your(pl) _ of_ sons wives and _ DOM daughters _ of_ your(pl) give to _ husbands so _ that _ they_ may_ bearsons and _ daughters and _ increase/multiply there and _ do _ notdiminish .
7 And _ seek DOM the _ welfare_ ofthe _ city where I _ have_ sent_ into_ exileyou(pl) to _ there and _ pray for _ it to YHWH if/because in _ its _ of_ welfare it _ will_ belongto/for _ you(pl) welfare .
8 if/because thus YHWH he _ sayshosts the _ god_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) not let _ them_ deceiveto/for _ you(pl) prophets _ of_ your(pl) who are _ in_ your _ of_ midst and _ your(pl) _ of_ diviners and _ do _ notlisten to dreams _ of_ your(pl) which you(pl) are _ dreaming9 If/because with _ falsehood they are _ prophesyingto/for _ you(pl) in _ my _ of_ name not I _ sent _ themthe _ utterance_ ofYHWH 10 if/because thus YHWH he _ saysif/because to _ the _ mouth _ of(of) _ will_ be_ completedfor _ Bāⱱel seventy year[s] I _ will_ give_ attention_ toyou(pl) and _ I _ will_ carry_ outon _ you(pl) DOM message _ of_ my (the) _ good by _ bringing _ backyou(pl) to the _ place (the) _ this .
11 If/because I I _ knowDOM the _ plans which I am _ planningon _ you(pl) the _ utterance_ ofYHWH plans _ ofwell-being and _ not for _ harm to _ give to/for _ you(pl) a _ futureand _ a _ hope12 And _ you(pl) _ will_ call_ onDOM _ me and _ you(pl) _ will_ comeand _ you(pl) _ will_ prayto _ me and _ I _ will_ listento _ you(pl) .
13 And _ you(pl) _ will_ seekDOM _ me and _ you(pl) _ will_ find_ me if/because you(pl) _ will _ seek_ mein _ all heart _ of_ your(pl) .
14 And _ I _ will_ let_ myself_ be_ foundto/for _ you(pl) the _ utterance_ ofYHWH and _ I _ will_ turn_ backDOM captivity _ of_ your(pl) [fn ] and _ I _ will_ gatheryou(pl) from _ all the _ nations and _ from _ all _ ofthe _ places where I _ banishedyou(pl) there the _ utterance_ ofYHWH and _ I _ will_ bring_ backyou(pl) to the _ place where I _ sent_ into_ exileyou(pl) from _ there .
15 If/because you(pl) _ have_ saidhe _ has_ raised_ upto/for _ us YHWH prophets (to) _ Bāⱱel .
16 if/because thus YHWH he _ saysconcerning the _ king who _ sits to the _ throne_ ofDāvid and _ near/to all _ ofthe _ people which _ dwells in _ city (the) _ this countrymen _ of_ your(pl) who not they _ went_ outwith _ you(pl) in _ exile .
17 Thus YHWH he _ sayshosts here _ I am _ about_ to_ sendon _ them DOM the _ drought//sword/knife DOM (the) _ famine and _ DOM (the) _ pestilence and _ I _ will_ makethem like _ figs (the) _ rotten which not they _ will_ be_ eatenfrom _ badness .
18 And _ I _ will_ pursueafter _ them with _ sword with _ famine and _ with _ pestilence and _ I _ will _ make_ themmmm [fn ] to _ all/each/any/every the _ kingdoms_ ofthe _ earth/land into _ a _ curseand _ into _ a _ wasteand _ into _ a _ hissingand _ into _ a _ reproachin _ all the _ nations where I _ have _ banished_ themthere .
19 Because that not they _ listenedto words/messages _ of_ my the _ utterance_ ofYHWH which I _ sentto _ them DOM servants _ of_ my the _ prophets rising _ earlyand _ sending and _ not you(pl) _ listenedthe _ utterance_ ofYHWH 20 And _ you(pl) hear the _ message_ ofYHWH Oh _ all_ ofthe _ exile[s] whom I _ sentfrom _ Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) to _ Bāⱱel .
21 thus YHWH he _ sayshosts the _ god_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) concerning ʼAḩʼāⱱ the _ son_ ofQōlāyāh and _ near/to Tsidqiyyāh /(Zedekiah) the _ son_ ofsēyāh who _ are _ prophesyingto/for _ you(pl) in _ my _ of_ name falsehood here _ I am _ about_ to_ giveDOM _ them in _ the _ hand_ ofNə ⱱūkadneʦʦar the _ king_ ofBāⱱel and _ he _ will _ strike_ them_ downto _ your _ two’s_ of_ eyes .
22 And _ it _ will_ be_ takenfrom _ them a _ curseto _ all/each/any/every the _ exile[s]_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) who are _ in_ Bāⱱel to _ say may _ he _ make_ youYHWH like _ Tsidqiyyāh and _ like _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ whom he _ roasted _ themthe _ king_ ofBāⱱel in _ fire .
23 Because that they _ diddisgraceful _ follyin _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ they _ committed_ adulteryDOM the _ wives_ oftheir _ neighbours_ of_ of and _ they _ spokea _ messagein _ my _ of_ name falsehood which not I _ commanded _ themand _ I wwww wwww [fn ] [fn ] and _ a _ witnessthe _ utterance_ ofYHWH 24 and _ near/to Shemaiah the _ Nehelamite you _ will_ sayto _ say .
25 Thus YHWH he _ sayshosts the _ god_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) to _ say because that you you _ sentin _ your _ own_ of_ name letters to all _ ofthe _ people which is _ in_ Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) and _ near/to Tsə fanyāh /(Zephaniah) the _ son_ ofsēyāh the _ priest/officer and _ near/to all _ ofthe _ priests to _ say .
26 YHWH he _ has _ made_ youpriest in _ place_ ofYə hōyādāˊ/(Jehoiada) the _ priest/officer to _ be overseers the _ house_ ofYHWH to/from _ all/each/any/every person who _ is _ madand _ who _ is _ prophesyingand _ you(ms) _ will_ giveDOM _ him/it into the _ stock[s] and _ near/to the _ iron_ collar .
27 And _ now to/for _ what not have _ you_ rebuked(in) _ Yirmə yāh /(Jeremiah) the _ ˊAntotī who _ is _ prophesyingto _ you(pl) .
28 If/because therefore yes/correct/thus/so he _ has_ sentto _ us Bāⱱel to _ say will _ be_ longit build houses and _ dwell and _ plant gardens and _ eat DOM produce _ of_ their .
29 And _ Tsə fanyāh _ he/it _ calledthe _ priest/officer DOM the _ letter the _ this in _ the _ ears_ ofYirmə yāh the _ prophet .
30 and _ the _ message_ of_ he/it _ wasof _ YHWH to Yirmə yāh to _ say .
31 Send to all _ ofthe _ exile[s] to _ say thus YHWH he _ saysconcerning Shemaiah the _ Nehelamite because that he _ has_ prophesiedto/for _ you(pl) Shemaiah and _ I not I _ sent _ himand _ he _ has_ made_ relyyou(pl) on falsehood .
32 For _ so/thus/hence thus YHWH he _ sayshere _ I am _ about_ to_ visit_ judgement on Shemaiah the _ Nehelamite and _ on his/its _ seed not he _ will_ belongto _ him/it anyone who _ dwellsin _ the_ middle the _ people the _ this and _ not he _ will_ lookon _ good which I will _ be_ doingfor _ my _ of_ people the _ utterance_ ofYHWH if/because rebellion he _ has_ spokenon YHWH OET ◄ JER 29 ► ║ ©
