3 thus YHWH he_says certainly_(be_given) it_will_be_given the_city (the)_this in_the_hand_of the_army_of the_king of_Bāⱱel and_he_will_capture_it.
4 And_they_said the_officials to the_king let_him_be_put_to_death please DOM the_man the_this if/because therefore yes/correct/thus/so he is_making_drop DOM the_hands_of the_men_of (the)_war who_remain in_city (the)_this and_DOM the_hands_of all_of the_people by_speaking to_them according_the_words/messages the_these if/because the_man the_this not_he is_seeking for_welfare for_people the_this if/because (if) for_harm.
5 And_he/it_said the_king Tsidqiyyāh/(Zedekiah) THERE he is_in_hand_of_your(pl) if/because not the_king he_is_able you(pl) anything.
6 And_they_took DOM Yirməyāh/(Jeremiah) and_they_threw DOM_him/it into the_cistern of_Malkīyyāh the_son_of the_king which was_in_the_courtyard_of the_guard and_they_let_down DOM Yirməyāh with_ropes and_in_cistern there_was_not water if/because (if) mud and_ Yirməyāh _he_sank in_mud.
7 and_ ˊEⱱed _he/it_listened Melek the_Kūshiy/(Cushite) a_man_of a_court-official and_he in_house_of the_king if/because_that they_had_put DOM Yirməyāh into the_cistern and_the_king was_sitting in_the_gate_of Binyāmīn.
8 And_ ˊEⱱed _he/it_went_out Melek from_the_house_of the_king and_he/it_spoke to the_king to_say.
9 My_master the_king they_have_done_evil the_men the_these DOM all_of that they_have_done to_Yirməyāh the_prophet DOM whom they_have_thrown into the_cistern and_he/it_died in_his_place from_face/in_front_of (the)_famine if/because not the_food yet is_in_city.
10 And_he_commanded the_king DOM ˊEⱱed Melek the_Kūshiy to_say take in_hand_of_your from_here thirty men and_you_will_bring_up DOM Yirməyāh the_prophet from the_cistern before_before he_will_die.
11 And_he/it_took ˊEⱱed Melek DOM the_men in_his/its_hand and_he_went the_house_of the_king to under the_storehouse and_he/it_took from_there worn_out_things_of the[fn] and_worn_out_things_of rags and_he_let_them_down to Yirməyāh/(Jeremiah) into the_cistern with_ropes.
12 And_ ˊEⱱed _he/it_said Melek the_Kūshiy/(Cushite) to Yirməyāh put please the_worn_out_things_of the_clothes and_the_rags under the_joints_of your_two’s_hands_of_your from_under to_the_ropes and_ Yirməyāh _he/it_made thus.
13 And_they_drew_out DOM Yirməyāh with_ropes and_they_brought_up DOM_him/it from the_cistern and_ Yirməyāh _he/it_sat_down//remained//lived in_the_courtyard_of the_guard.
14 and_he_sent the_king Tsidqiyyāh/(Zedekiah) and_he/it_took DOM Yirməyāh the_prophet to_him/it to an_entrance the_third which in_house_of YHWH and_he/it_said the_king to Yirməyāh am_about_to_ask I you a_matter do_not hide from_me anything.
15 And_ Yirməyāh _he/it_said to Tsidqiyyāh if/because I_will_tell to/for_yourself(m) am_not certainly_(put_to_death) will_you_put_me_to_death and_because/when I_will_counsel_you not you_will_listen to_me.
16 And_he_swore the_king Tsidqiyyāh to Yirməyāh in_secrecy to_say by_the_life of_YHWH wwww[fn] who he_has_made to/for_us DOM the_living_creatures (the)_this if I_will_put_you_to_death and_if I_will_give_you in_the_hand_of the_men the_these who are_seeking DOM life_of_your.
17 and_ Yirməyāh/(Jeremiah) _he/it_said to Tsidqiyyāh thus YHWH he_says the_god_of soldiers/messengers the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) if indeed_(go_out) you_will_go_out to the_commanders_of the_king_of Bāⱱel and_it_will_live self_of_your and_the_city (the)_this not it_will_be_burnt with_fire and_you_will_live you and_household_of_your.
18 And_if not you_will_go_out to the_commanders_of the_king_of Bāⱱel and_it_will_be_given the_city (the)_this in_the_hand_of the_ones_from_Kasdiy and_they_will_burn_it with_fire and_you(ms) not you_will_escape from_hand_of_their.
19 and_he/it_said the_king Tsidqiyyāh/(Zedekiah) to Yirməyāh I am_dreading DOM the_Yəhūdī/(Judeans) who they_have_fallen to the_ones_from_Kasdiy lest they_should_give DOM_me in_hand_of_their and_they_will_deal_wantonly with_me.
20 and_ Yirməyāh _he/it_said not they_will_give listen please to_the_voice_of YHWH to_that_which I am_speaking to_you so_that_it_may_go_well to/for_yourself(m) self_of_your and_so_that_it_may_live.
21 And_if are_refusing you to_go_out this is_the_thing which he_has_shown_me YHWH.
22 And_BEHOLD/LO/SEE all_of the_women who they_are_left in_house_of the_king_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) are_about_to_be_brought_out to the_commanders_of the_king_of Bāⱱel and_they will_be_saying they_misled_you and_they_prevailed to/for_yourself(m) the_people_of your_peace_of_your they_are_sunk in_mire feet_of_your they_have_turned backwards.
23 And_DOM all_of wives_of_your and_DOM children_of_your people_will_bring_out to the_ones_from_Kasdiy and_you(ms) not you_will_escape from_hand_of_their if/because by_the_hand_of the_king_of Bāⱱel you_will_be_captured and_DOM the_city (the)_this you_will_burn with_fire.
24 and_ Tsidqiyyāh/(Zedekiah) _he/it_said to Yirməyāh/(Jeremiah) anyone not let_him_know in_words/messages the_these and_not you_will_die.
25 And_because/when they_will_hear the_officials if/because_that I_have_spoken with_you and_they_will_come to_you and_they_will_say to_you tell please to/for_us what did_you_say to the_king do_not hide_it from_him/it and_not we_will_put_you_to_death and_what did_he_say to_you the_king.
26 And_you_will_say to_them was_making_fall I supplication_of_my to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_king to_not to_send_me_back the_house_of Yōnātān/(Yəhōnātān/(Jonathan)) to_die there.
27 and_ all_of _they_came the_officials to Yirməyāh and_they_asked DOM_him/it and_he_told to/for_them according_to_all_of the_words/messages the_these which he_had_commanded the_king and_they_kept_silent from_him/it if/because not it_had_been_heard the_message.
28 and_ Yirməyāh _he/it_sat_down//remained//lived in_the_courtyard_of the_guard until the_day when Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) it_was_captured and_it_was just_as it_was_captured Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
