6 Bring _ to_ safety Oh _ people of _ Binyāmīn[fn ] from _ midst of _ Yə rūshālayim/(Jerusalem) and _ in/on/at/with _ Tə qōˊī blow a _ trumpet and _ over Bēyt Hakkerem raise a _ rising if/because calamity it _ has_ looked_ down from _ north and _ destruction great .
2 The _ beautiful and _ the _ delicate I _ resemble the _ daughter of _ Tsiyyōn/(Zion) .

4 Consecrate on/upon _ it(f) battle arise and _ attack in/on/at/with _ noon woe to/for _ us if/because it _ has_ turned the _ day if/because they _ are_ stretched_ out [the] _ shadows of _ evening .
5 Arise and _ attack in/on/at/with _ night and _ destroy palaces _ her .
6 if/because thus he _ says YHWH of _ hosts cut _ down wood and _ throw _ up on Yə rūshālayim a _ mound that the _ city it _ will_ be_ visited nothing _ its [is] _ oppression in/on/at/with _ midst _ her .
7 As _ keeps _ fresh a _ well[fn ] water _ its so it _ has_ kept_ cool wickedness _ her violence and _ destruction it _ is_ heard in/on/at/with _ her [are] _ on attention _ me continually sickness and _ wounds .
8 Let _ yourself_ be_ instructed Oh _ Yə rūshālayim lest it _ should_ be_ alienated self _ of_ me from _ you lest make _ you a _ desolation a _ land [which] _ not it _ is_ inhabited .
9 thus he _ says YHWH of _ hosts thoroughly _ (glean) people _ will_ glean as _ the_ vine the _ remnant of _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) return hand _ your like _ grape-gatherer over branches .
10 To whom will _ I_ speak and _ give _ warning and _ hear there [is] _ uncircumcised ears _ their and _ not they _ are_ able to _ listen there the _ word of _ YHWH it _ has_ become to/for _ them as _ object _ of_ scorn not they _ delight in _ him/it .

22 thus he _ says YHWH there a _ people [is] _ about_ to_ come from _ land of _ [the]_ north and _ nation great it _ will_ be_ roused from _ farthest _ parts of _ [the]_ earth .
23 Bow and _ javelin they _ take_ hold_ of [is] _ cruel it and _ not they _ have_ mercy sound _ their like _ the_ sea [which] _ it_ roars and _ on horses they _ ride [they _ are]_ arranged like _ man for _ the_ battle against _ you Oh _ daughter of _ Tsiyyōn/(Zion) .
24 We _ heard DOM news _ it they _ dropped our _ both _ hands distress seized _ us anguish as _ a_ woman _ in_ labour .
25 Do _ not go _ out[fn ] the _ field and _ in/on/at/with _ road do _ not walk [fn ] if/because a _ sword has _ enemy terror on _ every _ side .
26 Oh _ daughter people _ my gird _ yourself sackcloth and _ roll in/on/at/with _ ashes [the] _ mourning of _ an_ only_ [child] observe to/for _ you(fs) wailing of _ bitterness(es) if/because suddenly it _ will_ come the _ destroyer upon _ us .
27 An _ assayer made _ you in/on/at/with _ people _ my fortification and _ know and _ test DOM ways _ their .
