4 Mōʼāⱱ It _ will_ be_ brokenthey _ will_ make_ hearda _ cry_ of_ distressits _ of_ servants [fn ] .
5 If/because the _ ascent_ of(the) _ Lūḩīt [fn ] [fn ] with _ weeping someone _ will_ ascendweeping if/because on _ the _ descent_ ofḨoronayim the _ distresses_ ofthe _ cry_ of_ distress_ ofdestruction people _ will_ hear6 Flee save life _ of_ your(pl) so _ that _ they_ may_ belike _ a _ juniper_ bushin _ wilderness .
7 If/because because you _ trust in _ your(pl) _ of_ deeds and _ in _ your(pl) _ of_ treasures also you you _ will_ be_ capturedand _ he _ will_ go_ outKə mōsh/(Chemosh) [fn ] in _ exile priests _ of_ his and _ his _ of_ officials together [fn ] .
8 And _ he _ will_ comea _ destroyerto every _ ofcity and _ a _ citynot it _ will_ escapeand _ it _ will_ be_ destroyedthe _ valley and _ it _ will_ be_ destroyedthe _ plain which he _ has_ spokenYHWH 9 Give salt to _ Mōʼāⱱ if/because flying it _ will_ go_ outand _ its _ of_ cities (into) _ a_ waste they _ will_ becomefrom _ not an _ inhabitantin _ them .

15 Mōʼāⱱ It _ will_ be_ devastatedand _ its _ of_ cities someone _ will_ go_ upand _ the _ choicest_ ofits _ young_ men_ of_ of they _ will_ go_ downto _ slaughter the _ utterance_ ofthe _ king is _ YHWH hosts his/its _ name .
16 is _ nearthe _ disaster_ ofMōʼāⱱ to _ coming and _ its _ of_ calamity it _ will_ hastenexceedingly .
17 Show _ sympathyto _ him/it Oh _ all_ ofaround _ of_ it and _ all/each/any/every you(pl) _ who_ know_ ofhis/its _ name say how a _ staff_ ofit _ is_ brokenstrength a _ staff_ ofsplendour .
18 Come _ downfrom _ honour wwww [fn ] in _ thirst Oh _ inhabitant[s]of _ the_ daughter_ ofof _ Diyⱱvōnif/because the _ destroyer_ ofMōʼāⱱ he _ will_ come_ upon _ you he _ will_ ruinstrongholds _ of_ your .
19 To the _ roadstand and _ watch Oh _ inhabitant[s]_ ofˊArōˊēr ask a _ man _ who_ fleesand _ a _ woman _ who_ escapessay what has _ it_ happened20 Mōʼāⱱ It _ has_ been_ put_ to_ shameif/because it _ has_ been_ shatteredwail [fn ] and _ cry _ out[fn ] declare at _ the _ ʼArnōn if/because _ thatit _ has_ been_ devastatedMōʼāⱱ .
21 And _ judgement it _ will_ cometo the _ land_ ofthe _ plainto Ḩolōn and _ near/to Yahaʦ/(Yahaʦ/(Jahaz)) and _ on Mōfaˊat [fn ] .
22 And _ on Diyⱱvōn and _ on Nə ⱱō and _ on Bēyt Diblathaim .
23 And _ on Qērə yātayim and _ on Bēyt Gamul and _ on Bēyt Meon .
24 And _ on Qə riyyōt and _ on Bāʦə rāh and _ on all _ ofthe _ cities_ ofthe _ land_ ofMōʼāⱱ (the) _ far and _ (the) _ near .
25 the _ horn_ ofIt _ will_ be_ cut_ offof _ Mōʼāⱱand _ its _ of_ arm it _ will_ be_ brokenthe _ utterance_ ofYHWH 26 Make _ it _ drunkif/because on YHWH it _ has_ magnified_ itselfand _ Mōʼāⱱ _ it _ will_ splashin _ its _ of_ vomit and _ it _ was(into) _ a_ laughing-stock also it .
27 And _ if not the _ laughing-stock was _ itto/for _ yourself(m) Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) or among _ thieves was _ it_ found[fn ] (cmp) from _ sufficiency words/messages _ of_ your in/on/over _ him/it you _ shook_ yourself28 Abandon cities and _ dwell among _ rock[s] Oh _ inhabitants_ ofMōʼāⱱ and _ be like _ a _ dovewhich _ it_ makes_ a_ neston _ the _ sides _ ofthe _ mouth_ ofa _ pit29 We _ have_ heardthe _ pride_ ofMōʼāⱱ proud very haughtiness _ of_ its and _ its _ of_ pride and _ its _ of_ boastfulness and _ the _ haughtiness_ ofhis/its _ heart .
30 I I _ know[fn ] the _ utterance_ ofYHWH arrogance _ of_ its and _ not right boasts _ of_ its _ emptynot right they _ have_ accomplished31 Therefore yes/correct/thus/so on Mōʼāⱱ I _ will_ wailand _ for _ Mōʼāⱱ of _ it_ of_ all I _ will_ cry_ outconcerning the _ people_ ofKir he _ will_ groan32 More _ than _ the_ weeping_ ofYaˊzēr/(Jazer) I _ will_ weepfor _ you Oh _ vine of _ Sə ⱱāmtendrils _ of_ your they _ passed_ overthe _ seato the _ sea_ ofYaˊzēr they _ reachedon fruit _ of_ your _ summerand _ on harvest _ of_ your _ grapea _ destroyer[fn ] he _ has_ fallen33 And _ joy _ it _ has_ been_ removedand _ rejoicing from _ the _ orchard[s] and _ from _ the _ land_ ofMōʼāⱱ and _ wine from _ wine-vats I _ have_ made_ to_ ceasenot anyone _ will_ treadshouting shouting not will _ be_ shouting34 From _ the _ cry_ of_ distress_ ofḨeshbōn to ʼElˊālēh to Yahaʦ/(Yahaʦ/(Jahaz)) people _ will_ give_ forthvoice _ of_ their from _ Tsoˊar/(Zoar) to Ḩoronayim Eglath Shelishiyah if/because also the _ waters_ ofNimrīm (into) _ wastes they _ will_ become35 And _ I _ will_ put_ an_ end_ toto _ Mōʼāⱱ the _ utterance_ ofYHWH one _ who_ offers_ upa _ high_ placeand _ one _ who_ makes_ smoketo _ his _ of_ gods .
36 Therefore yes/correct/thus/so heart _ of_ my for _ Mōʼāⱱ like _ flutes it _ will_ moanand _ my _ of_ heart concerning the _ people_ ofKir like _ flutes it _ will_ moantherefore yes/correct/thus/so the _ wealth_ of(of) _ which _ he_ acquiredthey _ will_ be_ lost37 If/because every _ ofhead will _ be_ baldnessand _ all beard will _ be_ clippedwill _ be_ onall _ ofhands cuts and _ will _ be_ onloins sackcloth .
38 On all _ ofthe _ roofs_ ofMōʼāⱱ and _ in _ its _ open_ of_ places of _ it_ of_ all will _ be_ wailingif/because I _ will_ breakDOM Mōʼāⱱ like _ a _ vesselwhich _ there_ is _ notpleasure in/on/over _ him/it the _ utterance_ ofYHWH 39 How it _ has_ been_ shatteredthey _ will_ wailhow it _ has_ turneda _ neckMōʼāⱱ it _ will_ be_ ashamedand _ Mōʼāⱱ _ it _ was(into) _ a_ laughing-stock and _ (into)_ a _ terror to/from _ all/each/any/every around _ of_ it .
40 if/because thus YHWH he _ saysthere like _ eagle someone _ will_ swoop_ downand _ he _ will_ spread_ outwings _ of_ his against Mōʼāⱱ .
41 It _ will_ be_ captured(the) _ Qə riyyōt and _ the _ strongholds it _ will_ be_ seizedand _ it _ wasthe _ heart_ ofthe _ warriors_ ofMōʼāⱱ in _ the_ day (the) _ that like _ the _ heart _ ofa _ womanwho _ is _ in_ labour42 And _ Mōʼāⱱ _ it _ will_ be_ destroyedfrom _ a _ peopleif/because on YHWH it _ has_ magnified_ itself43 Terror and _ pit and _ snare will _ be _ on_ youOh _ inhabitant_ ofMōʼāⱱ the _ utterance_ ofYHWH 44 The [fn ] [fn ] from _ face/in _ front_ ofthe _ terror he _ will_ fallinto the _ pit and _ the _ one _ who _ climbs_ upfrom the _ pit he _ will_ be_ caughtin _ snare if/because I _ will_ bringto _ her/it to Mōʼāⱱ the _ year_ oftheir _ punishment_ of_ of the _ utterance_ ofYHWH 45 In _ the _ shadow_ ofḨeshbōn they _ will_ standfrom _ strength those _ who_ fleeif/because a _ fireit _ will_ go_ forthfrom _ Ḩeshbōn and _ a _ flamefrom _ between Sihon and _ she/it _ atethe _ forehead_ ofMōʼāⱱ and _ the _ crown _ of_ the_ head_ ofthe _ sons_ ofuproar .
46 Woe to/for _ yourself(m) Oh _ Mōʼāⱱthe _ people_ ofit _ will_ perishof _ Kə mōsh/(Chemosh)if/because they _ will_ be_ takensons _ of_ your in _ captivity and _ your(pl) _ of_ daughters in _ captivity .
47 And _ I _ will_ turn_ backthe _ captivity_ ofMōʼāⱱ in _ end/latter the _ days the _ utterance_ ofYHWH is _ tohere the _ judgement_ ofMōʼāⱱ .
