14 How will_you(pl)_say are_warriors we and_men_of strength for_battle.
15 Mōʼāⱱ It_will_be_devastated and_cities_of_its someone_will_go_up and_the_choicest_of its_young_men_of_his they_will_go_down to_slaughter the_utterance_of the_king is_YHWH soldiers/messengers his/its_name.

21 And_judgement it_will_come to the_land_of the_plain to Ḩolōn and_near/to Yahaʦ/(Jahaz) and_on Mōfaˊat[fn].
22 And_on Diyⱱvōn and_on Nəⱱō and_on Bēyt Diⱱlātyim.
23 And_on Qiryātayim and_on Bēyt Gāmūl and_on Bēyt Məˊōn.
24 And_on Qəriyyōt and_on Bāʦərāh and_on all_of the_cities_of the_land_of Mōʼāⱱ (the)_far and_(the)_near.
25 the_horn_of It_will_be_cut_off of_Mōʼāⱱ and_arm_of_its it_will_be_broken the_utterance_of YHWH.
26 Make_it_drunk if/because on YHWH it_has_magnified_itself and_ Mōʼāⱱ _it_will_splash in_vomit_of_its and_it_was (into)_a_laughing-stock also it.
27 And_if not the_laughing-stock was_it to/for_yourself(m) Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) or among_thieves was_it_found[fn] (cmp) from_sufficiency words/messages_of_your in/on/over_him/it you_shook_yourself.
28 Abandon cities and_dwell among_rock[s] Oh_inhabitants_of Mōʼāⱱ and_be like_a_dove which_it_makes_a_nest on_the_sides_of the_mouth_of a_pit.
29 We_have_heard the_pride_of Mōʼāⱱ proud very haughtiness_of_its and_pride_of_its and_boastfulness_of_its and_the_haughtiness_of his/its_heart.

32 More_than_the_weeping_of Yaˊzēr/(Jazer) I_will_weep for_you Oh_vine of_Səⱱām tendrils_of_your they_passed_over the_sea to the_sea_of Yaˊzēr they_reached on fruit_of_your_summer and_on harvest_of_your_grape a_destroyer[fn] he_has_fallen.
33 And_ joy _it_has_been_removed and_rejoicing from_the_orchard[s] and_from_the_land_of Mōʼāⱱ and_wine from_wine-vats I_have_made_to_cease not anyone_will_tread shouting shouting not will_be_shouting.
34 From_the_cry_of_distress_of Ḩeshbōn to ʼElˊālēh to Yahaʦ/(Jahaz) people_will_give_forth voice_of_their from_Tsoˊar/(Zoar) to Ḩoronayim ˊEglat Shəlishiyyāh if/because also the_waters_of Nimrīm (into)_wastes they_will_become.
35 And_I_will_put_an_end_to to_Mōʼāⱱ the_utterance_of YHWH one_who_offers_up a_high_place and_one_who_makes_smoke to_gods_of_his.
36 Therefore yes/correct/thus/so heart_of_my for_Mōʼāⱱ like_flutes it_will_moan and_heart_of_my concerning the_people_of Qīr- like_flutes it_will_moan therefore yes/correct/thus/so the_wealth_of (of)_which_he_acquired they_will_be_lost.
37 If/because every_of head will_be_baldness and_all beard will_be_clipped will_be_on all_of hands cuts and_will_be_on loins sackcloth.
38 On all_of the_roofs_of Mōʼāⱱ and_in_its_open_of_places of_it_of_all will_be_wailing if/because I_will_break DOM Mōʼāⱱ like_a_vessel which_there_is_not pleasure in/on/over_him/it the_utterance_of YHWH.
39 How it_has_been_shattered they_will_wail how it_has_turned a_neck Mōʼāⱱ it_will_be_ashamed and_ Mōʼāⱱ _it_was (into)_a_laughing-stock and_(into)_a_terror to/from_all/each/any/every around_of_it.
40 if/because thus YHWH he_says THERE like_eagle someone_will_swoop_down and_he_will_spread_out wings_of_his against Mōʼāⱱ.
41 It_will_be_captured (the)_Qəriyyōt and_the_strongholds it_will_be_seized and_it_was the_heart_of the_warriors_of Mōʼāⱱ in_the_day (the)_that like_the_heart_of a_woman who_is_in_labour.
42 And_ Mōʼāⱱ _it_will_be_destroyed from_a_people if/because on YHWH it_has_magnified_itself.
43 Terror and_pit and_snare will_be_on_you Oh_inhabitant_of Mōʼāⱱ the_utterance_of YHWH.
44 The[fn][fn] from_face/in_front_of the_terror he_will_fall into the_pit and_the_one_who_climbs_up from the_pit he_will_be_caught in_snare if/because I_will_bring to_her/it to Mōʼāⱱ the_year_of their_punishment_of_their the_utterance_of YHWH.
45 In_the_shadow_of Ḩeshbōn they_will_stand from_strength those_who_flee if/because a_fire it_will_go_forth from_Ḩeshbōn and_a_flame from_between Şīḩōn and_she/it_ate the_forehead_of Mōʼāⱱ and_the_crown_of_the_head_of the_sons_of uproar.
46 Woe to/for_yourself(m) Oh_Mōʼāⱱ the_people_of it_will_perish of_Kəmōsh/(Chemosh) if/because they_will_be_taken sons_of_your in_captivity and_daughters_of_your in_captivity.
47 And_I_will_turn_back the_captivity_of Mōʼāⱱ in_end/latter the_days the_utterance_of YHWH is_to here the_judgement_of Mōʼāⱱ.
