UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit

τὸν οἶκον τοῦ πατρός μου οἶκον ἐμπορίου

the house ˱of˲_the father ˱of˲_me /a/_house ˱of˲_business

Jesus uses the house of my Father to refer to the temple. If this might confuse your readers, you could express the meaning explicitly. Alternate translation: “the house of my Father, which is the temple, a house of commerce”

Note 2 topic: guidelines-sonofgodprinciples

τοῦ πατρός μου

˱of˲_the father ˱of˲_me

Father is an important title for God.
