BrLXX Καὶ εὐλαβήθη μὴ οὐκ ἔχῃ ὡς ἅπαξ καὶ δὶς εἰς τὰς δαπάνας καὶ τὰ δόματα ἃ ἐδίδου ἔμπροσθεν δαψιλεῖ χειρὶ, καὶ ἐπερίσσευσεν ὑπέρ τοὺς βασιλεῖς τοὺς ἔμπροσθεν.
(Kai eulabaʸthaʸ maʸ ouk eⱪaʸ hōs hapax kai dis eis tas dapanas kai ta domata ha edidou emprosthen dapsilei ⱪeiri, kai eperisseusen huper tous basileis tous emprosthen. )
BrTr he feared that he should not be able to bear the charges any longer, nor to have such gifts to give so liberally as he did before: for he had abounded above the kings that were before him.
