OET (OET-LV) We_are_giving_thanks to_ the _god always concerning all of_you, remembrance making in the prayers of_us, unceasingly
OET (OET-RV) We here are always thanking God for all of you and remembering you in our prayers—always
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / infostructure
εὐχαριστοῦμεν τῷ Θεῷ πάντοτε περὶ πάντων ὑμῶν, μνείαν ποιούμενοι ἐπὶ τῶν προσευχῶν ἡμῶν, ἀδιαλείπτως
˱we˲_˓are˒_giving_thanks ¬the ˱to˲_God always concerning all ˱of˲_you_all remembrance making in the prayers ˱of˲_us unceasingly
Here Paul first states what he, Silvanus, and Timothy do more specifically (they give thanks to God) and then describes it more generally (they are making mention of the Thessalonians). If it would be clearer in your language, you could reverse the order of the clauses. Alternate translation: [We continually make mention of you in our prayers, always giving thanks to God for all of you]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / hyperbole
πάντοτε & ἀδιαλείπτως
always & unceasingly
Paul says always and continually here as generalizations for emphasis. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use a different way to express the emphasis. Alternate translation: [very regularly … extremely often]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / infostructure
μνείαν ποιούμενοι ἐπὶ τῶν προσευχῶν ἡμῶν, ἀδιαλείπτως
remembrance making in the prayers ˱of˲_us unceasingly
Here, the word continually could modify: (1) making mention of you. Alternate translation: [making mention of you continually in our prayers] (2) “remembering” in the following verse ([1:3](../01/03.md)). If you use the following alternate translation, you will need to omit the comma at the end of this verse. Alternate translation: [making mention of you in our prayers, continually]
1:2 We always thank God for all of you is the first of three thanksgivings for the church (see 2:13; 3:9).
OET (OET-LV) We_are_giving_thanks to_ the _god always concerning all of_you, remembrance making in the prayers of_us, unceasingly
OET (OET-RV) We here are always thanking God for all of you and remembering you in our prayers—always
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
