If your language does not use the passive form in this way, you can state this in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. Alternate translation: “gained complete control over his kingdom” or “ruled powerfully over his kingdom”

(Occurrence 0) Yahweh

(Some words not found in UHB: and,established Shəlomoh/(Solomon) son_of Dāvid on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in his/its=kingdom and,LORD his/its=god with=him/it and,made_~_great,him to,upward, )

Here “was with him” is an idiom. Alternate translation: “God supported him” or “God helped him”

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

1:1 David had asked that the Lord be with Solomon (1 Chr 22:11) and that Solomon be strong and of good courage (1 Chr 28:20). David also declared that God would make Solomon great, giving strength to all Israel (1 Chr 29:12). Three points about Solomon echo David’s blessings: Solomon took firm control of his kingdom, . . . God was with him, and God made him very powerful.
