BrLXX ὥστε τὸν λαὸν μὴ ἀκούειν τῶν σαλπίγγων διὰ τὸν κλαυθμὸν τοῦ λαοῦ· ὁ γὰρ ὄχλος ἦν ὁ σαλπίζων μεγάλως, ὥστε μακρόθεν ἀκούεσθαι.
(hōste ton laon maʸ akouein tōn salpingōn dia ton klauthmon tou laou; ho gar oⱪlos aʸn ho salpizōn megalōs, hōste makrothen akouesthai. )

BrTr insomuch that the trumpets might not be heard for the weeping of the people; yet the multitude sounded marvellously, so that it was heard afar off.
