OET (OET-RV) Then they went down into Egypt, for a famine covered all the land of Canaan. They sojourned there until they had grown up. They became a great multitude there, so that one could not count the population of their nation.
BrLXX Καὶ κατέβησαν εἰς Αἴγυπτον, ἐκάλυψε γὰρ τὸ πρόσωπον τῆς γῆς Χαναὰν λιμὸς, καὶ παρῴκησαν ἐκεῖ μέχρις οὗ διετράφησαν· καὶ ἐγένοντο ἐκεῖ εἰς πλῆθος πολύ, καὶ οὐκ ἦν ἀριθμὸς τοῦ γένους αὐτῶν.
(Kai katebaʸsan eis Aigupton, ekalupse gar to prosōpon taʸs gaʸs Ⱪanaʼan limos, kai parōkaʸsan ekei meⱪris hou dietrafaʸsan; kai egenonto ekei eis plaʸthos polu, kai ouk aʸn arithmos tou genous autōn. )
