DRA And when they were gone, Judith went into her oratory: and putting on haircloth, laid ashes on her head: and falling down prostrate before the Lord, she cried to the Lord, saying:

9.1 Quibus abscedentibus. Postquam ad presbyteros locuta est, oratorium ingreditur Judith, quia sollicitudo sanctorum post prædicationis obsequium, redit ad cordis sui secretum, ut ibi compleat puræ ascensionis incensum: secundum illud, Cum oraveris, intra in cubiculum tuum.

BrLXX Ἰουδὶθ δὲ ἔπεσεν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον, καὶ ἐπέθετο σποδὸν ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτῆς, καὶ ἐγύμνωσεν ὃν ἐνεδιδύσκετο σάκκον· καὶ ἦν ἄρτι προσφερόμενον ἐν Ἱερουσαλὴμ εἰς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Θεοῦ τὸ θυμίαμα τῆς ἑσπέρας ἐκείνης· καὶ ἐβόησε φωνῇ μεγάλῃ Ἰουδὶθ πρὸς Κύριον, καὶ εἶπε,
