19 Therefore the Pilatos then took the Yaʸsous and flogged him.
2 And the soldiers having _twisted _together a_crown of thorns, they _put _on it on _the head of _him, and they _clothed him in_a_ purple _robe, 3 and they _were _coming to him and they _were _saying:
Greetings, the king of _the Youdaiōns.
And they _were _giving slaps to _him.
4 And the Pilatos came _out again outside, and is _saying to _them:
Behold, I _am _bringing him out to _you _all, in _order _that you _all _may _know that I _am_ not _finding guilt in him.
5 Therefore the Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) came _out outside, wearing the thorny crown and the purple robe.
And he _is _saying to _them:
Behold, the man.
6 Therefore when the chief _priests and the attendants saw him, they _cried _out saying:
Execute _on _a _stake.
Execute _on _a _stake.
The Pilatos is _saying to _them:
You _all take him and execute _on _a _stake him, because/for I am_ not _finding guilt in him.
7 The Youdaiōns answered, to _him:
We are _having a_law, and according _to the law he _ought to _die _off, because he _made himself the_son of_god.
8 Therefore when the Pilatos heard this the message, he _was_ more _afraid.
9 And he _came _in into the residence _of _the _governor again, and is _saying to_ the _Yaʸsous:
From _where are you?
But the Yaʸsous not gave an_answer to _him.
10 Therefore the Pilatos is _saying to _him, you _are_ not _speaking To _me?
You _have_ not _known that I _am _having authority to _send_ you _away, and I _am _having authority to _execute _on _a _stake you?
11 Yaʸsous answered to _him:
You _were_ not _having authority against me not _one, except not/lest was having _been _given to _you from _above.
Because _of this the one having _given_ me _over to _you, is _having greater sin.
12 Out _of this the Pilatos was _seeking to _send _away him.
But the Youdaiōns cried _out saying:
If you _may _send _away this man, you _are not a_friend of_ the _Kaisar.
Everyone making himself which a_king, is _speaking _against the against _Kaisar.
13 Therefore the Pilatos, having _heard of_ the _messages these, brought outside the Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa), and he _sat _down on the_tribunal, at a_place being _called the_Stone _Pavement, But in _Hebraios, Gabbatha.
14 And it _was the_preparation day of _the passover_feast, the_hour was about the_sixth.
And he _is _saying to _the Youdaiōns:
Behold, the king of _you _all.
15 And they cried _out:
Take _away.
Take _away.
Execute _on _a _stake him.
The Pilatos is _saying to _them:
May _I _execute _on _a _stake the king of _you _all?
The Chief _priests answered:
We _are_ not _having a_king, except not/lest Kaisar.
16 Therefore then he _gave_ him _over, to _them, in _order _that he _may _be _executed _on _a _stake.
They _took And the Yaʸsous, led_ him _away 17 And bearing the stake to _himself, he _came _out to the place being _called:
place Of_the_skull, which is _being _called In _Hebraios, Golgotha/(Gulgolet), 18 where they _executed _on _a _stake him, and with him two others, on _this _side and on _that _side, and the Yaʸsous in_the_middle.
19 And the Pilatos wrote also a_title, and put on the stake.
And it _was having _been _written:
Yaʸsous the from _Nazaret, the king of _the Youdaiōns.
20 Therefore this the title many of _the Youdaiōns read, because the place was near of _the city, where the Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) was _executed _on _a _stake, and it _was having _been _written In _Hebraios, In _Latin, In _Hellaʸn.
21 Therefore the chief _priests of _the Youdaiōns were _saying to_ the _Pilatos:
Be_ not _writing:
The king of _the Youdaiōns, but that that one said:
I _am king.
of _the Youdaiōns.
22 The Pilatos answered:
What I _have _written, I _have _written.
23 Therefore the soldiers when they _executed _on _a _stake the Yaʸsous, took the clothes of _him, and they _made four parts, a_part to _each soldier, and the tunic.
And the tunic was seamless, from the_ top _parts woven through all.
24 Therefore they _said to one _another:
We _may_ not _tear it, but we _may _choose _by _lot for it, whose it _will _be, in _order _that the scripture may _be _fulfilled which saying:
They _divided the clothes of _me to _themselves, and they _threw a_lot for the clothing of _me.
The therefore on _one _hand soldiers did these things.
25 On _the _other _hand the mother of _him had _stood by the stake of_ the _Yaʸsous, and the sister of _the mother of _him, Maria/(Miryām) the wife of_ the _Clopas, and Maria the from _Magdala.
26 Yaʸsous therefore having _seen his mother, and the apprentice/follower having _stood _by whom he _was _loving, is _saying to _the mother:
Woman, see, the son of _you.
27 Thereafter he _is _saying to _the apprentice/follower:
Behold, the mother of _you.
And from that the hour took the apprentice/follower her to his own.
28 After this having _known the Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) that all things now has _been _accomplished, in _order _that the scripture may _be _completed, he _is _saying:
I _am _thirsting.
29 A_vessel was _lying full of _wine _vinegar, therefore a_sponge full of _the wine _vinegar having _put _around around_a_hyssop stalk, they _brought over _it to _his mouth.
30 Therefore when the Yaʸsous took the wine _vinegar, he _said:
It _has _been _finished.
And having _bowed the head, he _gave _over his spirit.
31 Therefore the Youdaiōns, because it _was the_preparation day, in _order _that the bodies may_ not _remain on the stake on the day _of _rest (for it _was great the day of _that the day _of _rest), they _asked the Pilatos that the legs of _them may _be _broken, and they _may _be _taken _away.
32 Therefore the soldiers came, and they _broke the legs of _the first on _one _hand, and of _the other which having _been _executed _on _a _stake _with with _him, 33 on _the _other _hand having _come to the Yaʸsous, when they _saw him having _died already, they_ not _broke the legs of _him.
34 But one of _the soldiers pierced the side of _him with_a_spear, and immediately blood and water came _out.
35 And the one having _seen has _testified, and the testimony of _him is true, and that one has _known that he _is _speaking true, in _order _that also you _all you _all _may _be _believing.
36 For/Because these things became, in _order _that the scripture may _be _fulfilled:
Bone of _him will_ not _be _being _broken.
37 And again another scripture is _saying:
They _will _be _looking on whom they _pierced.
38 And after these things, Yōsaʸf/(Yōşēf) which from Arimathaia being a_apprentice/follower of_ the _Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa), but having _been _hidden because _of the fear of _the Youdaiōns asked the Pilatos, that he _may _take _away the body of_ the _Yaʸsous, and the Pilatos permitted it.
Therefore came and they _took_ him.
_away.
39 And Nikodaʸmos also came, the one having _come to him at _the first by _night, bringing a_wrapping of _myrrh and aloe, about a_hundred pounds.
40 Therefore they _took the body the of_Yaʸsous, and they _bound it in _linen _cloths with the spices, as the_custom of _the Youdaiōns is to _be _burying.
41 And there _was a_garden in the place where he _was _executed _on _a _stake, and in the garden a_ new _tomb, in which not _yet no _one was having _been _laid.
42 Therefore because _of the preparation day of _the Youdaiōns, because near was the tomb, they _laid the Yaʸsous there.
