13 And before the feast of _the passover_feast, the Yaʸsous having _known that the hour of _him came, that he _may _depart out _of the this world to the father, having _loved his own who were in the world, he _loved them to the_end.
2 And becoming, supper, the devil already having _put into the heart Youdas/(Yəhūdāh) of _Simōn Iskariōtaʸs that may _give_ him _over, 3 having _known that the father has _given all things to _him, into his hands, and that he _came _out from god and he _is _going to the god, 4 he _is _being _raised from the supper and is _laying aside his clothes, and having _taken a_linen _towel he _girded himself.
5 Thereafter he _is _putting water into the wash _basin, and began to _be _washing the feet of _the apprentices/followers, and to _be _wiping _off them with _the linen _towel with _which he _was having _been _girded.
6 Therefore he _is _coming to Simōn Petros.
He _is _saying to _him:
master, are_ you _washing the feet of _me?
7 Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) answered and said to _him:
What I am _doing, you you _have_ not _known now, but you _will _be _knowing after these things.
8 Petros is _saying to _him:
By _no _means you _may_ not _wash the feet of _me to the age.
Yaʸsous answered to _him:
If I _may_ not _wash you, are_ not _having part with me.
9 Simōn Petros is _saying to _him:
master, not only the feet of _me, but also my hands and my head.
10 The Yaʸsous is _saying to _him:
The one having _been _washed is_ not _having need, except to _wash not/lest the feet, but he _is all clean, and you _all are clean, but not all.
11 For/Because he _had _known the one giving_ him _over, because _of this he _said, that You _all _are not all clean.
12 Therefore when he _washed the feet of _them, and took the clothes of _him, and sat _down, again he _said to _them:
Are _you _all _knowing what I _have _done to _you _all?
13 You _all are _calling me the Teacher and, the master, and you _all _are _saying rightly, because/for I _am.
14 Therefore if I the master and the Teacher washed the feet of _you _all, you _all also are _ought to _be _washing the feet of _one _another.
15 For/Because I _gave to _you _all an_example that as I did to _you _all, you _all also may _be _doing.
16 Truly, truly, I _am _saying to _you _all, is not a_slave greater than the master of _him, nor an_ambassador greater than the one having _sent him.
17 If you _all _have _known these things, you _all _are blessed if you _all _may _be _doing them.
18 I _am _speaking not about all of _you.
I have _known whom _all I _chose, but in _order _that the scripture may _be _fulfilled:
The one eating the bread with me, lifted _up the heel of _him against me.
19 From now I _am _telling to _you _all before the time to _become, in _order _that you _all _may _believe whenever it _may _become that I am he.
20 Truly, truly, I _am _saying to _you _all, the one receiving wishfully anyone I _may _send, is _receiving me, and the one receiving me, is _receiving the one having _sent me.
21 Having _said these things, the Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) was _disturbed the in _spirit and testified and said:
Truly, truly, I _am _saying to _you _all that one of you _all will _be _giving_ me _over.
22 Therefore the apprentices/followers were _looking among one _another, perplexing about whom he _is _speaking.
23 And one out _of the apprentices/followers whom the Yaʸsous was _loving was reclining in the bosom of _him of_ the _Yaʸsous.
24 Therefore Simōn Petros is _nodding to _this one, to _inquire who wishfully it _might _be about whom he _is _speaking.
25 therefore that one Having _leaned _back thus on the chest of_ the _Yaʸsous, is _saying to _him:
master, who is _it?
26 the Yaʸsous is _answering:
That one is to _whom I, having _dipped the piece _of _bread will _be _handing _out it.
And having _dipped the piece _of _bread, he _is _giving to _Youdas/(Yəhūdāh) of _Simōn Iskariōtaʸs.
27 And after the piece _of _bread, then the Satan/(Sāţān) came _in into that one.
Therefore the Yaʸsous is _saying to _him:
What you _are _doing, do more _quickly.
28 And no _one of _the ones reclining knew, to what he _said this to _him.
29 For/Because some were _supposing, because Youdas was _having the moneybag, that the Yaʸsous is _saying to _him:
Buy of _what things we _are _having need for the feast, or in _order _that something may _give to _the poor.
30 Therefore having _received the piece _of _bread, that one came _out immediately.
And it _was night.
31 Therefore when he _came _out, Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) is _saying:
Now the son of_ the _man was _glorified, and the god was _glorified in him.
32 Also the god will _be _glorifying him in himself, and immediately will _be _glorifying him.
33 Little _children, I _am still a_little time with you _all.
You _all _will _be _seeking me, and as I _said to _the Youdaiōns, that Where I am _going, you _all are_ not _being _able to _come, now I _am_ also _saying to _you _all.
34 I _am _giving to _you _all a_ new _command, that you _all _may _be _loving one _another, as I _loved you _all, that also you _all may _be _loving one _another.
35 By this all will _be _knowing that you _all _are my apprentices/followers, if you _all _may _be _having love among one _another.
36 Simōn Petros is _saying to _him:
master, where you _are _going?
Yaʸsous answered to _him:
Where I _am _going, you _are_ not _being _able to _follow after _me now, but you _will _be _following later.
37 The Petros is _saying to _him:
master, because/for_ why _reason I _am_ not _being _able to _follow after _you now?
I _will _be _laying down the life of _me for you.
38 Yaʸsous Is _answering:
Will _you _be _laying the life of _you for me?
Truly, truly, I _am _saying to _you, by _no _means the_rooster may_ not _crow, until of _which you _will _be _disowning me three-times.
