OET (OET-RV) But we wouldn’t listen to your voice, to serve the king of Babylon. Therefore you have made good your words that you spoke by your servants the prophets, that the bones of our kings and the bones of our fathers would be taken out of their places.
BrLXX Καὶ οὐκ ἠκούσαμεν τῆς φωνῆς σου, ἐργάσασθαι τῷ βασιλεῖ Βαβυλῶνος· καὶ ἔστησας τοὺς λόγους σου, οὓς ἐλάλησας ἐν χερσὶ τῶν παίδων σου τῶν προφητῶν, τοῦ ἐξενεχθῆναι τὰ ὀστᾶ βασιλέων ἡμῶν καὶ τὰ ὀστᾶ τῶν πατέρων ἡμῶν ἐκ τοῦ τόπου αὐτῶν.
(Kai ouk aʸkousamen taʸs fōnaʸs sou, ergasasthai tōi basilei Babulōnos; kai estaʸsas tous logous sou, hous elalaʸsas en ⱪersi tōn paidōn sou tōn profaʸtōn, tou exeneⱪthaʸnai ta osta basileōn haʸmōn kai ta osta tōn paterōn haʸmōn ek tou topou autōn. )
BrTr But we would not hearken unto thy voice, to serve the king of Babylon: therefore hast thou made good the words that thou spakest by thy servants the prophets, namely, that the bones of our kings, and the bones of our fathers, should be taken out of their places.
WEBBE But we wouldn’t listen to your voice, to serve the king of Babylon. Therefore you have made good your words that you spoke by your servants the prophets, that the bones of our kings and the bones of our fathers would be taken out of their places.
DRA And they hearkened not to thy voice, to serve the king of Babylon: and thou hast made good thy words, which thou spokest by the hands of thy servants the prophets, that the bones of our kings, and the bones of our fathers should be removed out of their place:
