OET (OET-RV) and he said to himself, I’ve asked for death; why do I not call my son Tobias, that I may explain to him about the money before I die?
BrLXX Καὶ εἶπεν ἐν ἑαυτῷ, ἐγὼ ᾐτησάμην θάνατον, τί οὐ καλῶ Τωβίαν τὸν υἱόν μου, ἵνα αὐτῷ ὑποδείξω, πρὶν ἀποθανεῖν με;
(Kai eipen en heautōi, egō aʸtaʸsamaʸn thanaton, ti ou kalō Tōbian ton huion mou, hina autōi hupodeixō, prin apothanein me; )
BrTr and said with himself, I have wished for death; wherefore do I not call for my son Tobias, that I may signify to him of the money before I die?
WEBBE and he said to himself, I have asked for death; why do I not call my son Tobias, that I may explain to him about the money before I die?
DRA And said to him: Hear, my son, the words of my mouth, and lay them as a foundation in thy heart.
