WEBBEDon’t let the wages of any man who works for you wait with you, but give it to him out of hand. If you serve God, you will be rewarded. Take heed to yourself, my child, in all your works, and be discreet in all your behaviour.

KJB-1611[fn]Let not the wages of any man, which hath wrought for thee, tary with thee, but giue him it out of hand: for if thou serue God he will also repay thee: be circumspect, my sonne, in all things thou doest, and be wise in all thy conuersation.
(Let not the wages of any man, which hath/has wrought/done for thee/you, tarry/wait with thee/you, but give him it out of hand: for if thou/you serve God he will also repay thee/you: be circumspect, my son, in all things thou/you doest, and be wise in all thy/your conuersation.)
