⇔ but we were utterly consumed in our wickedness.”
BrLXX οὕτως καὶ ἡμεῖς γεννηθέντες ἐξελίπομεν· καὶ ἀρετῆς μὲν σημεῖον οὐδὲν ἔσχομεν δεῖξαι, ἐν δὲ τῇ κακίᾳ ἡμῶν κατεδαπανήθημεν.
(houtōs kai haʸmeis gennaʸthentes exelipomen; kai aretaʸs men saʸmeion ouden esⱪomen deixai, en de taʸ kakia haʸmōn katedapanaʸthaʸmen. )
BrTr even so we in like manner, as soon as we were born, began to draw to our end, and had no sign of virtue to shew; but were consumed in our own wickedness.
