TSNTyndale Study Notes:

34:10-15 The passage attaches three ideas to the truth that God can do no wrong (34:10, 12): (1) God pays back all people according to their behavior (34:11); (2) as the Creator, God is not answerable to anyone (34:13); and (3) every living being depends upon God for its existence, and God can withdraw that gift without doing anything wrong (34:14-15; cp. Rom 9:19-29).

UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor

אַ֥נֲשֵׁ֥י לֵבָ֗ב

men_of understanding

Here the heart represents understanding. If it would be clearer in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [men of understanding] or [you wise men]

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom

חָלִ֖לָה לָאֵ֥ל מֵרֶ֗שַׁע וְשַׁדַּ֥י מֵעָֽוֶל

far_be_it!, from_THE,God to,wickedness and,Almighty from,wrong

See how you translated the expression “Sacrilege to” in [27:5](../27/05.md). Alternate translation: [Far be it from God to do wickedness, and from the Almighty to do iniquity]

Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / ellipsis

חָלִ֖לָה לָאֵ֥ל מֵרֶ֗שַׁע וְשַׁדַּ֥י מֵעָֽוֶל

far_be_it!, from_THE,God to,wickedness and,Almighty from,wrong

Elihu is leaving out some of the words that in many languages a sentence would need in order to be complete. You can supply these words from the context if that would be clearer in your language. Alternate translation: [Far be it from God to do wickedness, and far be it from the Almighty to do iniquity]
