Habakkuk speaks of the Chaldean worshiping his net and dragnet as if those things were gods which could receive sacrifices and incense. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [Therefore he gives credit to his weapons of war and honors them]

Habakkuk is speaking of the Chaldean’s plunder as if it were fat and rich food. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [his portion is plentiful and his food is abundant]
Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / abstractnouns
חֶלְק֔וֹ
portion_of,his
If your language does not use an abstract noun for the idea of his portion, you could express the same idea in another way. Alternate translation: [what he receives]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
